Nice check-in lady. Our stay was during January. It was very quiet and seemed pretty empty. We stayed in a room that allows dogs, but there were no strange smells and seemed just as clean as any other room.

Why does it have to be like this?
We got in late from a 10 Hour drive across Texas and when checking in we were told there were no downstairs rooms available and there was no elevator. I usually bring all my comfort at home (I had planned on moving to a place with the kitchenette since this did not have one and you’re not allowed to cook in the rooms). So having to lug totes and suitcases and bags up 2 flights of stairs was exhausting. Been inquiring the next morning about the downstairs room was told that there was plenty plenty of downstairs rooms. We only asked because we saw like five cars in the parking lot. The mini fridge would not work requested a new one. They only came once when I was At the IHOP next-door and still didn’t fix the issue… I asked again was not followed up with and called or talked to by management until the whole next day saying that the maintenance went in there, but he didn’t do anything about it

The stay
The Hotel people were very friendly and was willing to help with what ever I needed to make my stay great. Room was very clean, and comfortable. Except for the bed was very firm.

never again
the front desk is always friendly and professional. they do offer breakfast but we didnt have the chance to try it. the lobby is clean and very nice looking as for the hallways and the rest of the hotel rooms included needs a lot of work. outside doors do not lock anyone can just walk in. the cleanness of the rooms are not clean at all you have hair all kinds of body hair on the walls and on the ceiling of the shower it has very well low ceilings. no fitted sheets the flat is used as the fitted sheet. this place needs a lot of work. this is our second time staying there and will be the last.

Go elsewhere if you can
Great location, got a great price, but you get what you pay for. Breakfast is prepackaged mini muffin and yogurt. No coffee maker in the room. Guys in the room next to us going in and out the window. Stains on the sheets. Yes we checked out early.

Sadly I was bug food while asleep
On the surface it appeared clean and comfortable. Until I realized there were creatures feasting on me during the night. After night 2, I had horrendous insect bites all over me. My body reacted horribly to them. And I ended up having to throw away my luggage and anything else I couldn’t fit into my washing machine to was with super hot water. So, a painful and expensive stay

I liked the handicap room. I traveled with a handicap person and was given the first floor the first night. The room was comfortable but not handicap accessible, which we knew for the first night. The hall had a stench of pee. Apparently there was an accident from on of the other rooms and tootles overflowed, The room didn’t smell. The second night was so much better. We were in a handicap room and the hall there was fine. It’s an older building, but clean. Other than the pee smell in that one hallway, everything else was great.

Hotel needs lots of repairs!!!!
The hotel sign was not lit up so it was hard to see/find the hotel. The hotel is in bad shape and need LOTS or renovations and upgrades. The AC worked ok. The bed was clean but not the rest of the room. The bathroom was dirty, and the toilet did not flush good at all. The shower did not work, and the water did not get very hot. The did not make my bed after the first night of a two-night stay. They also did not empty my trash. maid service was nice though and the front desk was nice. The auto checked me out after my first night and I had to get new cards just to get back into my room. The entrance security door at the back never locked. Do not recommend staying here!
