Victoria Hotel

Rooms are small and the neighborhood gets bad quickly if you go north, but otherwise very convenient location with good customer service and a nice breakfast.

The reception staff were always happy and very helpful. Our 3 bed room was comfortable but the bathroom was very small. It was close to the train station and surrounded by shops so a good location.

The hotel was great but not in the best part of town but the beds were comfortable, service was good and food was fairly good. Saw some homeless people and seemed to be a lot of people just hanging out in the streets after dark.

Freundlicher Empfang und hilfsbereites Personal (gab Auskunft zu Restaurants in der Nähe und dem Nahverkehr gen Flughafen), gutes Frühstück. Kurzer Weg vom HBF und ins Zentrum sind ein Plus. Für Gäste von außerhalb ist vermutlich wichtig zu wissen, dass das Bahnhofsviertel bunte Gestalten anzieht - sicher ist die Gegend aber dennoch. Das gebuchte Doppelzimmer war etwas kleiner als erwartet (definitiv kleiner als auf dem Foto), ebenso das Bad, aber insgesamt sauber. Einziges Minus war das WLAN, das sehr langsam lief (Emails checken war unmöglich).

Really nothing to complain about. Staff was super friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and well kept. Room was also clean. Bedding was clean and matress comfortable. Breakfast both warm and cold selection. Will definitely return to Victoria Hotel.
