Town Motel SF

Gentile l'accoglienza, ma la colazione era da ritirare e portare in camera con una sola sedia per due persone. Bagno piccolo e difficoltà di posizionamento per due valigie. Qualche problemino di pulizia , subito risolto. Posizione ottima per tutte le possibili escursioni. Il rapporto prezzo prestazione esagerato. Comunque, se a San Francisco si prenota tardi, può capitare.

Town House Motel San Francisco

Il motel è tenuto molto bene, ed i due gestori sono molto cordiali. Ha la connesione wifi nelle camere, ed una postazione internet gratuita a fiano alla reception. Alla mattina c'è una piccola colazione: caffe americano, tè, succhi di frutta, muffin, e frutta, da prendere su un vassoio e portare in camera. Se avete la macchina c'è anche il parcheggio, che non è maleconsiderando le tariffe orarie di San Francisco. Il motel è in Lombard street, sul proseguimento della famosa strada di SF. A piedi si possono raggiungere sia una fermata della cable car facendo un tratto di strada in salita, una fermata dell'autobus su lombard street, ed una fermata dell'autobus a 2 parallele di distanza, ma molto vicina, per raggiungere il centro di SF. La zna del Fisherman's Wharf è raggiungbile a piedi. Dall'aeroporto al motel sono 45$ di taxi. Per quanta riguarda il costo della camera a notte, considerando che c'è la colazione compresa mi sembra nella media.

Quick trip

We stayed 1 night in San Francisco. The Hotel was better than we expected for the price. The room was large and very clean. The male and female hosts we taked to at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. Parking was free, but the lot was difficult to get in and out of when there was a long truck parked in 1 of the spaces. (But parking in general is tight in San Francisco.) There was some street noise, but that is to be expected on a main drive. Didn't notice it after a few minutes in the room. We would stay there again.

Gutes Hotel, gute Lage

Das TownHouse Motel ist nur ca.10 Gehminuten zur Fishermans Wharf. Die Parkplätze sind kostenlos und ein kleines Frühstück inbegriffen. Die ZImmer sind hellhörig und die Straße vor dem Hotel etwas laut. Die ZImmer waren aber OK und relativ sauber. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass geheizt wurde, wir konnten es aber nicht regulieren und haben immer wieder die Tür geöffnet, da man die Fenster nicht öffnen kann. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt absolut ausreichend und OK.

Comfy beds!

One of the comfiest beds in a motel I’ve ever stayed at. The pillows were great as well. It’s an excellent location, with free parking. Though you can tell that no upkeep has been done to this place in a long time…

If you are strapped for cash.

Location is not the greatest and the condition of the hotel room was poor. No air conditioning and loud noise from the street. Bed and pillows not comfortable.

Hotel confortable et bien placé - Etape de 2 nuits

Bon emplacement. Nous avons posé la voiture sur le parking(gratuit) et avons visité San Francisco à pied et en transports! Hotel confortable et propre- un peu de bruit mais prix à payer car en ville et largement supportable! PDJ sommaire mais sympa. Bon rapport qualité prix pour visite de la ville de 2-3 jours. A noter : petit resto japonais juste à côté super!!

Ok if you're not staying more than one night

We were attending an event at Fort Mason so the location was perfect and the free parking was fantastic albeit a small parking space. Because we were attending an event we didn't get to check in until after 10:30 p.m. The hotel was full with the no vacancy light on. I had to ring the night bell twice to get anyone to come to the door because I had a reservation. I was greeted by a grouchy man who demanded my license and credit card....no greeting or nothing. I felt like a kid in trouble. After a couple of grunts we got our hotel room key. Room was fine. Clean but by no means comfortable. It was very hot (turns out furnace was on and broken) but thankfully there was a window we could open. Pillows and mattress were rock hard. Neighborhood was great...mostly residential so very quiet at night. Didn't leave for very much to do though and no where to grab coffee or food in the morning. Also nothing close by for night life. Morning was better, the lady at the front desk was very pleasant and let us keep our car in the parking lot all day while we finished our event. Continental breakfast was nothing special, but better than nothing. I think this motel was great for one night but I definitely would not recommend for a family or anyone staying for a vacation or length of time.

Emplacement proche des services de Visite par BUS de San francisco et dans la celebre rue Lombard Personnel sympa et disponible Un petit restau italien 200 m + haut très bon attention à ne pas être trop proche de la rue pour le bruit et le petit déjeuner est disons "leger"

Clean and friendly staff

I thought the hotel overall was very clean and the staff was great. The couple running the front office gave us lots of advise and were very friendly. The location was great and I was able to walk to both the Exploratorium and Fisherman's wharf. The hotel is old but the shower itself had been remodled. (shower only, no bath tub) My only complaints are that the walls were paper thin and the guest staying above us where loud all night long and there where no kid friendly TV stations like Nick or Disney. There were some for younger children but I was with an 11 year old. I will stay here again the next time I visit San Francisco.

Town House Motel - San Francisco

This is basic roadside motel in outstanding condition in an ideal location with parking ouside your room and very friendly helpful staff. If you are looking for somewhere to spend minimal time in your room whilst exploring San Francisco look no further, it is a easy 7-8 minute walk in one direction to Union Street and 10-15 minutes in the other direction to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. This is a very safe residential area with plenty of bars and restuarants. - Highly recommended.

It is quiet, safe and not far from Bay area. Room is clean and has basic equipment, which is good. Bed is ok and comfortable. Only hope that blanket could be thicker.
