When we arrived, two of the four handicap parking spaces were blocked off for equipment to be stored there. But there were still three available parking spots for the Elite stay members. This is unacceptable. The only spot available was so close to the curb, I couldn’t fit my daughter’s wheelchair next to the car for her to get out. This, too, is unacceptable and speaks to how little Holiday Inn values disabled persons.
We checked in later in the evening, so it wasn’t until the morning that I realized how dirty the room was. The shower wasn’t clean. We found several hairs in the bed that did not belong to us. It makes me worried that the sheets weren’t even changed before our arrival. The floor had not been vacuumed.
At breakfast, a dad with three small children sat next to us. His son spilled a cup of juice and the dad got paper towels and cleaned up what he could. He then left and came back with a mop to clean the floor. I don't understand why a staff member did not come to do that and it was left to this man, with his small children and who had played to stay there.
It was a really disappointing stay, and I will not plan to stay here again. I would like a refund, as I don’t believe it was worth what I payed.
