While the La Quinta was a little rough around the edges because they were renovating the hotel was clean the beds were good everything was fine and the cost was significantly less than others in the area I'd recommend this hotel.

Stay Somewhere Else
This hotel is in an area where there are other hotels within walking distance. Go to those. This hotel is “under construction” but I feel like this is just their excuse to not maintain the cleanliness of the hotel. We had one room that was just uninhabitable and absolutely disgusting! There was exposed floor board, huge globs of candy or gum stuck on the floor and the blankets had stains on them. The receptionist switched our room quickly. The room we ended up staying in was only slightly better. I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping under the blankets or on the pillows. The shower water pressure and temp was amazing! Our toilet and sink were stopping up. The toilet was also loose and was sliding. The maintenance man came to fix them both in the morning and there was a noticeable difference. Overall, wouldn’t recommend AT ALL!

Shut this Motel down!
The hotel claims to be "under renovation," but it needs to be completely shut down. The doors don’t close properly, making me feel completely unsafe. The bathroom was disgusting—visible mold and rust in the tub, which is completely unacceptable. The entire place feels neglected and unclean. I didn’t feel safe staying here, so we left. Avoid this place at all costs!

Never Again
Hotel was under construction which was not known until we checked it. Building materials were eveywhere and hallways were unsafe. The television in our room was broken. Breakfast began at 7am and had 'run out of food' at 8:30. The attendant for the breakfast service stated 'well, that's it' when asked about the empty buffet and left. The lobby floor was filthy and our shoes stuck to it. Our room also had a strange smell coming from another room into ours through the bathroom vent. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others traveling with family.

Front Desk staff was great. Very friendly amd helpful with questions. The hotel itself appeared to be in the process of a make over. Room was clean, tub a little bit of standing water but appeared to be from a dripping faucet. Shower curtains was a bit short in length across the top of rail. Overall was a good night stay.

Worst experience ever
This hotel is falling apart. The elevator permit expired over 6 months ago and is pure rust inside. You can smell weed in the elevator. Breakfast was sausage that was shoe leather and cold eggs. The room had roaches crawling in it. The pool and hot was locked and the attendant stated she did not have a key. The walls were peeling paint and carpet filthy. Bathtub was nasty and peeling with rust. This also was my n a shady part of town.

The hotel has no maintenance, they do not review the conditions of the rooms they offer. When I arrived and put my foot on the carpet, it was completely full of water, so much so that my foot sank into the carpet, the room was in a terrible state, they changed my room, the new room was worse than the first because The toilet was clogged. This hotel is a total disaster. I don't recommend it even to spend one night. My stay at this hotel was a nightmare.

A nightmare! Dirty and unsanitary
This place was a nightmare! The person who was checking us in was so rude and he was high on something. He insisted that I had to pay again for the room, because it didn’t show that I had already paid for it. I showed him my receipt from Hotels.com that showed I had already paid and he still insisted that I had to pay again! After about 15 minutes another employee came and showed him on the computer that my room was already paid. He didn’t even apologize for his mistake. As we walked to find our room we noticed there had been water damage to this hotel, there were pieces of wall paper missing and it smelled horrible. Once we got to our room, the first thing we saw were roaches on the wall and in the bathroom. The bathroom was disgusting, there were yellow stains all over the cabinets and walls. My husband and I had to sleep with our clothes on and with all the lights on, as we were scared roaches might climb on us as we slept. This is the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed in. I requested a refund, but still have not heard anything back. Do not stay there!! It is unsanitary! We would have preferred to sleep in our car, but it was freezing cold that night.
