The Rockville Hotel, a Ramada by Wyndham

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 5 years and this last stay is perhaps the last unless something is done. The location is great with access to the highway.. the staff are absolutely phenomenal, friendly and hardworking, some at the front desk I’ve seen over the years as well as the night manager, the day manager is great as well. The rooms are spacious and clean, but due to covid I still brought my own cleaning supplies. I stayed in a suite that had two bathrooms,the only drawback to that suite is it gets zero sunlight as it faces the indoor courtyard. On my first night (Friday) there while I was bringing my luggage upstairs and literally had returned to the elevator a guy that was getting off told me that someone had used the bathroom in there....not a dog but a person decided to literally take a big pee spraying it all over the wall and of course the floor... to be Frank I’ve never experienced that before and was extremely taken aback alongside being highly disgusted. It only got worse from there on, the next night someone either drunk or sick decided to vomit all over the elevator key pad and of course that too landed on the floor... needless to say I started taking the stairs 3 flights up wasn’t a problem but for someone else it might be, sigh but that wasn’t it. As I was bringing my luggage into my suite I was greeted with a very strong smell of weed. I had my 6 year old son with me and he was like what’s that smell mommy. It is a NON smoking

My girlfriend and I made a last minute reservation here and although it's not the most glamorous hotel it was everything we needed, VERY spacious, and so convenient, I would definitely stay here again.

Family and I needed a few rooms for the night due to plumbing issues at home. We have two babies and the queen suite we got had plenty of room for them to play in. The hotel was quiet and calm which was great, we did need to change rooms due to a smell bit the FD was very kind and quick to help us. Definitely would stay here again. Thank you for making a difficult situation a little easier for me and my family

Hotel is older but very well maintained and spotless. We really enjoyed the spacious king suite. It was a perfect winter overnight getaway. There is no outside dining in the county due to COVID restrictions but we had dinner outside with heat lamps at The Yard at the Rio Lakeside, which was very nice. Hotel was quiet and cozy and we would definately stay again!

There were roaches everywhere

Everything was good, but i just wish when they put you in the non smoking room the entire floor would be too. It’s either a strong scent of cigarettes or Marijuana.

Old, dirty, depressing

The bed and shower were great. We were sorry that there wasn't any food. The light above the door was out so that end of the room was quite dark and the hot water facet leaked when turned on. We did let the management know about these two things.

While making due allowance for the difficult management conditions imposed by the pandemic, my recent 10 day stay was disappointing, primarily from the point of view of staff attitudes and helpfulness and the general condition of the facility, including in particular common areas such as the hallways and elevators.

My stay was great. Was in area to help someone move so needed place that could accommodate parking uhaul. Was only in room late at night. Plenty of pillows, great water pressure and hot water for shower, cold fridge for drinks, snacks available to purchase in lobby, coffee pot in room and coffee available in lobby.
