The one complete standout of the hotel stay was the Front Desk staff, specifically Cindy as her customer service was exceptional. She was outgoing, charismatic, knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and empathetic. The rest of the front desk staff was very good as well, we just had more interaction with Cindy and she was spectacular. The rest of the stay was disappointing.
The amenities were fine, I suppose, but the housekeeping staff didn’t actually do much of anything- in the two days I requested service, the first day I had my two trash cans emptied and had my bath mat taken—not replaced. Taken— and the second time I was given a bath mat and had two of my bath towels replaced. Neither time was my bed made. My parents had all of their hand towels taken and only had their trash emptied one out of the three days.
The walls are extremely thin- I could not sleep the second night because of the loud activities happening in the room next door to me from around 5 am onward. The restaurant on site was understaffed and inattentive— we had to wait for 7 minutes in order to place an order for pick up the first night because there was only one employee working.
Unfortunately in that area this is still one of the better 3 star hotel options, but compared to the 3 star hotels across the nation it was very much substandard, and even taking into account the exceptional service of Cindy and her team it still was barely a 3 star experience.
