Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Washington, DC/Downtown

place was clean. there was a room available and we checked in at 9:30am. breakfast was hot. we love this place

The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Wonderful breakfast, great selection. Nice and clean.

We stayed in the hotel for couple nights to visit Washington DC attractions. Everything is in a walking distance - museums, restaurants, Capitol, White House etc. The hotel is located in the safe area with street lights around so it was not scary to come back with a child back to the hotel after the sunset. The hotel is modern in design, rooms are clean, with no funky smell. Breakfasts very good with a large variety of choice, including healthy food for children. Everything added before is even gone. Breakfast area is kind a small but bearable. Coffee and tea available all night in the lobby. We didn't know about microwave and fridge available per request and that is a pity. Rooms are a bit small but a bed is very comfortable. It was calm at night, no issues at all. Personnel very friendly and nice. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and will come back for sure.
