First of all, they have next to -0- staff. The front desk was manned by one very efficient but exceptionally overworked young lady. Checking in took me 35 minutes. Once I got to my room, it was filthy. Smears of something on several walls, the mirror had been splattered and never addressed. Pretty sure deodorant was all over the light switch by the small vanity mirror (at least that’s what I hope it was) they held onto far more than the $50 supposedly held for incidentals and it’s not returned to your account for 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS by the way. I’ll never return. This was the last chance this hotel had with me after this remodel. The remodel is nice don’t get me wrong. But the place has no staffing. Anyone could see that hotel needs more supervision.

Lakefront Anchorage
Long wait for check on. Took approximately 20 minutes with only two people in front of us. Booked a king bed but was given two queens and was told that was all they had. Rooms were freezing Cole so I turned the heat up to 90 but it still took until 3-4 am for the room to finally warm up. The heater was very loud, sounded like a dryer running with coins in it. Definitely will not stay here again.

Enjoy this hotel. Good location to airport, have shuttle. Restaurant is good. Rooms are clean, good water pressure. Competitive pricing.

It’s shabby and run-down and in desperate need to an overhaul. If that doesn’t bother you, you’re fine. The place has character, but the ground floor is shabby, heat in room didn’t work (in winter!), lamp didn’t work... Couldn’t check in on arrival as system was down, couldn’t get room keys, couldn’t access WiFi. Resolved at 7am the next morning. Gave us free breakfast. I wouldn’t dream of staying again unless they updated the place. When they do it will be nice again. Hate to be negative, but I’m just relaying the facts, hoping you won’t be let down as we were. I read some positive reviews but can’t imagine how they could be written. Maybe some parts of the hotel aren’t run-down? I didn’t see them. It even needs dusting.

Beautiful rooms!
Shuttle to the airport picking us up was quick. Check in was quick and the front desk lady was super nice. Room was beautiful and clean. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place or nicer stay!
