OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach Resort

The property is in the perfect location, right on the beach. My only gripe was staff not being familiar with the parking policy. The front desk told me the ONLY place to park was to valet for $62/day. The valet then told me I could park for free a block away if I validated parking with the front desk and handed me a formal map to the parking garage. I chose to park there for the remainder of the week only to be told by a different front desk person that it was also $62/day to park their with validation. This secondary garage charges $45/day, so essentially, Outrigger wanted to cash in on the $17/day difference and I told them that was quite "scammy" for a supposedly reputable hotel. They ended up removing the extra charges but it was frustrating to think I was parking for free all week, only to be hit with a $300 parking bill

Outrigger was avgreat place for my adult family. Rooms werevery clean. The place is very old school Hawaii vibe, rooms a littlecdated innfurnishings, but you cant beat theblocation! Food was very good, we did find some things were better than others. Loved the Hula Grill! The beach access was fantastic! I would definitely stay there again.

The beach and places to eat was amazing lot of choices wait was a little long for restaurants but had many choices so not bad at all can’t wait for my next visit.

I like that it was right on the beach, right in the middle of downtown Wiakiki close to everything. I didn't like the noise from the construction but understand the necessity of it, so it was ok and wouldn't keep me trom coming back.
