Gotta be honest here, I've been to multiple resorts in my life and even during the pandemic but this resort I do not recommend. We came in for a hockey tournament weekend and for what we paid, this hotel isn't resort level whatsoever. I'll start with the status of our room, the mildew smell let us know this place was likely close down for a period of time and they need events in their hotel to get back on track. Some staff was amazing and some were rude and didnt care of your needs. Staff in the restaurant were awesome; housekeeping on our floor needs an attirude adjustment. When you stay multiple days, you take multiple showers and go through multiple towels so saying you're limited on the amount of towels isnt right. Then to not see the sign on the door of do not disturb and try to enter our room? Nope. Gotta do better. The food was meh. The conditions of the ice rink are deplorable. Not safe and great whatsoever for hockey, so risking children getting hurt is more on your radar because those who were working the ice during a tournament weekend even said games shouldnt be played. Kids will walk away from this tournament sick because of the puddles of water on the rink and thats because of the condition of the resort. I can speak for multiple families, as the chatter in the hallways was all weekend long.. nobody will be back for this tournament for how the tournament was ran but if this "resort" is involved. Too much money for not much at all and we travel alot for hockey.
