Au Co Art Classic Hotel & Spa

We arrived at 1 am and were greeted quite rudely. The one holding the key threw the key on the floor at the person who was showing us to our room, what a sure fire way of telling someone you’re not welcome. There were no welcome drinks as advertised. The rooms (we were given a free upgrade, but unfortunately it was on the old wing so it looked more outdated) had no decor, but quite comfortable. Good location, value for money. Location? 5 stars Staff: 3 stars Food: 3 stars

We stayed 4 nights at Au Co Art classic Hotel and wished we could stay longer. Fantastic hotel all around. Great large room with really nice bathroom. Everything was so clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent with so much variety. All the staff were so friendly and helpful including the manager. We booked a 15 day tour for 8 people going to Hanoi, cruise to Halong Bay, Hue, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City. she was wonderful and helped me plan the entire trip.

We came here quite late in the afternoon, we were welcomed by good drinks at the Lobby. The staff here is so friendly, especially Mr. Huy, he support us so well.We booked our Ha Long Bay trip with them and have only good things to say about them. The price is very reasonable for the quality they offer and the service was outstanding. Bed was so comfy and clean. Breakfast was amazing and staff at the restaurant is friendly as well

Wij kwam met regen aan in Hanoi, dus waren van plan een luxe hotel te boeken. Nou, dat is in ieder geval gelukt. Bij binnenkomst is iedereen meteen enorm behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Dit verandert gedurende het verblijf ook niet. Wij hebben 4 dagen in het hotel doorgebracht en hebben het, ondanks het weer, echt super gehad. Er zijn een aantal zaken die er voor ons uitsprongen; bedden zijn zacht, super badkamer met stortdouche en of bad, , massages, sauna, goed restaurant en een geweldig ontbijt. Alles liep perfect tijdens onze trip naar Halong Bay! Goede communicatie vooraf en alles was in orde. eer goed georganiseerde tour.. er. Al bij al fantastisch en de klantvriendelijkheid is ronduit goed!

We stayed for a total of four nights. Three then, booked a Halong Bay Tour through the hotel. Returned to stay in the "Presidential Suite" for our last night in Vietnam before returning home to Bali. The awesomeness: THE STAFF!!! Were amazing! Every single one from the guest service agent who changed booking dates for us as well as booked the Halong tour through... to the bell boy, property manager and even over night staff was all super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It seems like they really loved the hotel and being part of a team! THE LOCATION!! Walking distance to so many destinations in the Old Quarter! 25K Grab Ride to other major tourist destinations! The not so awesome: DECOR. We were expecting a French Indochine feel to the property... The pictures don't match the hotel. They may have 15 years ago, but this property needs an upgrade big time. ROOM CONDITION. It felt more like a Motel 6 that needed a paint job. Our first room 2022 was very large, bathroom was spacious and nice. Ceiling had stains on it where water damage had happened. "The Presidential Suite!" 1101. 1/2 the size of the first room with an odd shaped bathroom. Plus, it had a balcony and was quiet on the top floor. SAFETY: none of the rooms we stayed in had a peep hole. This was an issue when I was out and someone was knocking on the door. Scared the wife a bit. Overall- great stay, Wish the hotel was as great as the staff was!

Je like à fond! C'est un resort à taille humaine fondé par une famille de Hanoi et ouvert en dec 2018. Donc tout est neuf. Très bien conçu dans un style . , très bien aménagée! . Le Spa est excellent et nous avons bénéficié d'une promotion de 20% pour un traitement en couple. Le pied intégral! Le buffet petit-déjeuner est carrément somptueux et varié. Il y a tout ce dont on peut avoir envie. Le personnel est TRES attentionné. Ils sont vraiment aux petits soins, proactifs, efficaces bref charmants! Et tout le temps avec le sourire. On sent une bonne formation derrière tout cela. Cela aide à passer un séjour paisible. Très belle excursion. Nous avons pris la formule 2 jours avec 1 nuit sur une jonque 15 p. Nous étions 13 plus l équipage donc idéal. Les cabines sont très confortables, les repas très copieux et excellents. Notre guide Dui très bien, visites guidées très intéressantes. On recommande vivement cette agence de qualité, sérieuse et fiable

The A/C wasn’t working properly, the room got very humid and damp. I wasn’t aware the room didn’t have normal windows. According to the picture it showed normal windows, upon arrival the room had very small high window which made the room feel clastophobic.

I booked a room with city view. At check in, they gave me a family room and said it was bigger which I didn’t need as a solo traveler. My room did not have city view but looked into another building and a narrow alley. The sheets reeked of perfume in a not subtle way. Wonder why. Website says the rooms are soundproofed. Until midnight, heard vendor megaphone announcements and starting at 5 am, the constant car horns. I checked out after one night. Worth not getting refund and booking another place to get clean sheets and sleep.
