8/10 Very Good

A little noisy but otherwise great stay
So first off, the good: the hotel is beautiful and in a great location. We were very short walks from everything we came to Charleston to do, which was excellent for us . The staff were kind, prompt and very helpful. Valet parking was a nice touch and worth it rather than trying to find parking and worrying about your car in some random garage. The bed and room were very comfortable! Surprising to us was that there were two separate bathrooms in our king sized room. A heads up: Those could be a little tough to navigate for bigger folks. My only real issue was the noise. We could hear people on the street, in other rooms, talking and playing music til all hours of the morning. I brought earplugs which helped but if you’re a light sleeper it’s something to consider. That said I’d definitely book another stay here. Really enjoyed our first trip to Charleston.

Very nice stay in historic hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom showed a little wear and tear but worked fine. The staff was very nice and the gym was great. Great location for walk ability around the city. I would definitely go back.
