Parking is a dealbreaker!
The hotel was full of families that were there for a dance competition, so of course it was extremely busy in the lobby. I felt the front desk staff was not on top of things due to the full occupancy of the hotel. My example is that fact that no one informed us of the parking garage policy upon check in. We parked in the adjacent parking garage for two nights. Our parking was $68 dollars. When we checked out they informed us that we needed to have our ticket stamped as soon as we checked in to receive the hotel’s agreed upon rate! No one mentioned that information when we arrived even though they asked us if we parked in the garage!!!
I have parked in downtown hotels across the country and NEVER paid that much as long as I stayed at a hotel. Absolutely absurd to charge that rate! That should definitely be disclosed on the hotel’s post!
