La Marsa Vacances

We stayed for 7 days in early September in a bungalow with a nice terrasse + a roof top. The aircon worked well. So far so good. The interior was pretty run down - the furniture ancient, the walls crubling, the bathroom moldy. There was no daily cleaning as advertised & as is typical for any hotel. The trash bins were emptied on day 1, 2 & 6 and the bungalow was superficially cleaned on day 3 only. This was particularly disgusting when you have to collect toilet paper in a bin. The kitchen was not really usable, as there were no towels, dish cloths, soap, pot holders etc. Also, there were no blackout curtains, which you need because there are bright lights outdoors everywhere. As is if this wasn't enough, the hotel rents its premises to non-guests: we had to stay awake through 3 nights because of loud parties right next to our bungalow. Since the windows did not close properly, this was no fun! Also, the hotel rents out the sunbeds - when we arrived we wondered, why they would have so many sunbeds for only 20 rooms. Well, during the weekend we got our answer, when we couldn't even find a parking spot because there were over a hundred cars park infront of the hotel. The hotel property was packed with external sunbathers. Overall, the property is not how it is presented on the hotel's website - it's certainly not a 4-star resort. And it's not recommened if you want a little peace & quiet. If you don't mind a youth-hostel at a 4-star price - go there!

Lovely staff, much nicer inside that the exterior would suggest.. pool was great, no late night noise, tennis, football, kids club, pool, great food, beach front (rocky but included) and more chairs and loungers that I have ever seen before.. so no problem getting one! We loved it (2 adults, 2 children)

Not a place to stay out of the summer seasons. There is nothing nearby and the few restaurants that are their are closed. Also, the bed was broken causing the mattress to fold in the middle. In the summer I’m sure this place is fantastic.
