Nice visit

Only stayed for one night. Very friendly staff. Nice meal in the evening and very nice breakfast. We were in a chalet behind hotel but quiet and comfortable with good shower. Nice visit and would recommend.

Nice stay

Had a great stay, hotel was nice and fresh, nice new paint work and and new carpet, staff were nice and relaxed and friendly, only thing I have to say bad and nothing to do with the hotel is that someone bumped into my car but it was caught on the hotel CCTV so someone will be getting a wee visit soon

A welcoming stay

The Solway Lodge was a welcoming place to stay. Lovely staff, nice food and a very welcome drink after travelling down from Fife. We stopped off on our way back home. The room was huge, recently renovated, comfortable. We were able to move our car right outside our room which was fab. Thank you. We will be returning.

Stayed here on a Sunday night so it was really quiet. The room has been redecorated recently and is painted in contemporary shades of grey. The bathroom is also modern.

Motel one not environmentally friendly.

Poor eco friendly at the motel one. Paper cups the get replaced daily, no option to plug wash basin in bathroom, just have to let the water run down the plug hole. Shower screen partial so shower mat gets soaking and needed to be replaced every day.bar only sell bottled beer, thus a glass bottle used every drink.
