This hotel is such an old gem in a truly central spot. But, unfortunately, when I say old I mean old. The rooms look like they e needed a good re do since the ‘90’s. Cracks in the walls, cracks in the ceiling, those old plastic slap on bathrooms so the shower floor feels squishy, paint on paint on paint on paint. It’s such a pity because it has such potential. The staff were attentive, kind and sweet. The grounds are beautiful. It just needs a good gutting, money put into this old dame, to bring it back around to today’s standards. Also, cut back on the towels in the rooms. We were only two guests with four complete sets of towels for four guests (what happens to these? Seems like a lot of extra washing).
