**Review of The Sand Resort**
I recently stayed at The Sand Resort and overall, I found the experience to be quite good. The service was attentive and friendly, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The resort itself was relaxing, and the staff really contributed to a welcoming environment.
However, I felt the dining options were lacking in variety. While the food was decent, it could greatly benefit from incorporating a broader selection, such as Japanese, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisines. I was surprised to find no burritos or hard tacos, especially considering this is Mexico and the resort claims to specialize in those dishes. Additionally, the drinks were quite watered down, and premium alcohol options came with extra charges—I ended up paying $10 for each drink.
I also want to mention the beach conditions. While Cancun typically boasts beautiful weather, we encountered a significant amount of seaweed in the ocean during our stay. Unfortunately, there didn’t seem to be any efforts to clean it up, which might be off-putting for those hoping to swim in clearer waters.
In summary, The Sand Resort offers a pleasant stay with great service, but there are areas that need improvement, particularly in food variety and beach maintenance. If you enjoy a laid-back vibe and don’t mind the seaweed, this resort could still be a decent choice for your vacation.
