I've been waiting for you to ask me about my stay. What a terrible, run-down hotel.
One elevator was out for the 4 days I was there.
The other elevator looked like a service elevator, run down, cracked wall panels and should not be for guests, but it was for guests even with the other one running.
No soap in the bathroom. Old used bar left in the shower shelf.
Gym was ridiculous - half the machines didn't work and the ones that did had problems. Two stair steppers. One stair stepper out of service. The other the incline was stuck on level 10.
Breakfast - you actually think that was a decent breakfast? It was the worst breakfast of all the hotels I have stayed at.
Watered down orange juice.
Something that passes for an egg omelet? Round off-white disk with yellow in the middle?
Was that actually supposed to be a pork sausage?
No fresh fruit - only mixed fruit cups.
Lousy choice of breads/muffins.
The only saving grace was the waffle, which everyone wanted, and you needed to wait in line to get one.
What a sad story for La Quinta - I for one will never stay at one again.
I moved to a Holiday Inn Express - It's night and day compared to La Quinta and has a really good breakfast - FOR THE SAME PRICE!!!!!.
