Renovated, Clean and Comfortable Bed
This hotel appears to be having a renovation in progress. The hall carpet, tiles in entrance area and at each exit door were new. Everything in our room seemed like it had been replaced including the bathroom vanity, lighted mirror, shower tiles, etc. were new. The room was very clean. The rental cost was very reasonable, but the right price for what you get. It's just a grade above a "no tell, motel". The facility was advertised with free breakfast, but they only had coffee in pump canisters and a few apples and oranges in a small bowl. The girl at the front desk apologized and said that's all they had. If you're looking for a clean room, a comfortable bed, and a reasonable price for a nights stay, this hotel is for you.

Terrible choice
Had 3 different rooms upon check in: first room had no pillows on bed and manager said there were no more pillows;second room was not cleaned, bed unmade liquor bottles and cups on desk and paper all over floor. ;third room was habitable but overall very disappointed

Worse stay ever in a hotel
Hotel under renovation, no breakfast, noisy, sleazy, people smoked marijuana in hotel. Had to change rooms 3 times, no hot water, no amenities, microwave.

Customer service was amazing. We were originally supposed to stay at another hotel with a Friday night check-in in the area, but despite having a reservation for 7 rooms, they over booked and didn't have but 3 smoking rooms available. After walking across to the other hotels, I walked into the Baymont and the employee on duty provided excellent customer service; informed me she had rooms to accommodate us and even told me it would be cheaper to book online. She went above and beyond to get us into the rooms and I am grateful! I did not get her name, but she was amazing and extremely helpful, great customer service can make up for almost anything! Overall, hotel was not bad, you can tell they are mid renovation, hallway was in bad shape, but you could tell it was from workers going in and out of rooms. Once in the room, it was done very well, and clean. Everything was updated inside and it was a very comfortable stay for the price.

Dirty Room, Rude Staff
This was the absolute worst hotel Ive ever stayed at. No elevator, I could deal with that. Check in states 3pm, wouldnt let me check in until 4 because they were cleaning the rooms. Thats fine as well, besides the attitude they gave me. Get up to our room, there is no hand soap, stains on the bedding, crumbs all over the chair, dead stink bugs, dirty hand prints on the bathroom door, dirt on the floor. I absolutely need a refund.

3 - Stars
The hotel was undergoing significant remodeling (exterior and interior). The rooms were not as tidy as I would have liked. Also, the hotel appeared understaffed. The most unsettling aspect was the number of individuals not staying at the hotel, lingering in the hallways and the parking lot. However, many restaurants, stores, etc., are near the hotel.

Under construction. A mess. "Breakfast" is a joke. Stale cereal in large bins that nobody takes because.....theres no milk available. Apples were old and mushy. Noisy indoors and outdoors both nights. Never staying there again. Much better motels in the same price range in the immediate area.

Nasty
I was never told the hotel was under construction which only partially effected my opinion of the place. My room looked nice but upon inspection I was disgusted. I picked up a cold towel clean towel( presented as a clean towel )and bugs and hair fell out of it, not a hair, a lot of hair short curly hair. Went to go bed to find stains on the sheets, my dog was fansinated with smelling the bed more than Ive ever seen and for a dog that always sleeps in the bed she would not lay done in it. The photos include a very nice breakfast bar with many options , I was lucky to get half a cup of coffee and if I wanted a bowl of cereal there was no milk i even asked the front desk. The noise in the hotel was ridiculous all night and construction resumed at 630 at least that is when I heard equipment running inside inside the hotel from inside my room.

Do not stay here!
My room was not clean. There was urine on the toilet and stains on the bed. The clerk went through 5 different rooms before one was clean enough to sleep in. Homeless people were everywhere and the lobby is in shambles due to being undergoing renovations. This is the worst hotel I have ever been to in my life

This hotel is definitely ghetto and sketchy. Wish they would have notified that it was under “renovation”, because I definitely would not have booked. Hotel didn’t have an elevator that I know of. Had to carry my own suitcase up those black stairs. Smoke free room but the rest of the hotel smelled like smoke. Hotel is in a rough area but close proximity to the Greensboro Coliseum. No large body towels for showering. Only toiletries given are 1 roll of tissue, small towels, Kleenex, 1 bar of soap and 1 bottle of conditioner. There’s a $100 cash deposit which is obscured. Pros: The front desk lady was very pleasant. The bathroom looked kind of decent. I do not recommend staying here, even if you’re trying to save a few bucks. Pics posted on google review

4/10 Fair

The hotel was under construction, we were told it was listed but neither receptionist could show us where. The hotel was full of construction workers there were no extra blankets or pillows available. The room was clean and you could tell they had been updated but the hotel should have been closed there was paint and dust everywhere and the lobby was mostly closed. This would have been fine if we knew going in.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel was under renovation and the hallways and stairwells were dirty. The neighborhood is not very safe, fighting across the street with police cars called, homeless people approaching you in the parking lot.
