Great Stay!

We had an amazing stay at the Sheraton NY Times Square. We visited the city with our teenage grandson. Even though the hotel lobby was under construction, the hotel staff was very helpful, kind and generous with their time. One staff member took the time to instruct us on how to navigate the subway to CitiField. From this hotel we were a short walk to Central Park.

Too crowded huge wait at check-in

The hotel is way too crowded and not enough employees the check in took 40 minutes and it was after midnight on a Thursday ! Everything had huge lines, the Starbucks, the luggage hold line it was terrible ! They need to have more than 2 or 3 people at check-in at least 5-6 or even 10! The best part was the speedy elevators and the housekeeping were lovely and do a great job

Shop around before you buy!

Kind of expensive for what they offer. The breakfast is deceiving, they offer a $35.00 daily discount on a $120.00 bill for two. Better go around the block for the same breakfast at a much cheaper price. They also hit you with a $40.00 daily surprise charge under the concept of “Destination fee” I wouldn’t go back to this one.
