"River Crossing Lodge is a rest for your soul. Magnificent views, excellent food, nice and comfortable rooms. I enjoyed the firm bed and the option to book with their mouth-watering dinner included. I enjoyed walking around on the property and would highly recommend if you are in the area."

"Habitas Namibia is a wonderful camp surrounded by expansive and awe inspiring views of the Kalahari. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. The daily changing food menu is good quality and prepared to a high standard. Wonderful morning and evening game drives were a great time whilst learning about the land and animal behaviours. We had a series of sightings of lions, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, and more. The wood framed tents are spacious and well equipped, with comfy beds, aircon and hot water. It’s all well designed, simple and in harmony with the surroundings. Having been to many safari camps across the continent, this one comes across as very well managed. A place to come and enjoy peace in nature. "

"The hotel never got my booking through hotel.com. had to create a new booking. Rooms are in "old part" of the hotel. 1st room had no fridge, 2nd room was ok. Small, but clean and tidy. Never had breakfast."

"Beautiful, spotless and well maintained room. Food and service, both breakfast and sky lounge, were excellent. Unfortunately, our arrival was far from satisfactory. We booked airport pickup with the hotel, only to arrive and have to wait with our luggage for half an hour before someone showed up. When we arrived at the hotel we were put into the wrong category of room. After questioning this with the receptionist we were given the correct room. At check-in we also asked for a reservation the next day outside at the Fishmarket, which she confirmed she would do. She completely forgot to do this and we were seated inside as the restaurant had only received the request that afternoon. For a hotel of this standard I blame these shortcomings on poor management. After touring Namibia for 30 days we had planned to return to Windhoek for a couple of nights, and had thought we would come back to the Weinberg. After our experience we made other arrangements."
