"Not a 5 star hotel!"
We have stayed in 5 star hotels and this is not one of them. It is a nice hotel in a great location but does not provide 5 star service at all. Actually, there isn't much service at all. At least 3 to 4 times during our 7 night stay we had to ask for extra towels because there weren't enough towels in our rooms. Our daily rate included breakfast and […] afternoon tea. Breakfast buffet was wonderfu, and is well worth the extra money. The afternoon tea was just okay, nothing wonderful to talk about at all. We are American and have stayed in London before at other hotels that provide much better service for less money. "Mayfair in London"

I recently stayed at the May Fair with my wife and two children. Although the hotel is geared for upmarket clietelle and business people, we experienced relaxed and professional service. Best hotel! I would recommend this to anyone. Outstanding walking location to parks, monuments, tube, nightlife...everything. Royal service and care given to every guest....from the rich and famous to our family traveling for leisure. We book the family room. It was spacious and very comfortable for four. "Mayfair Hotel, London 4 star at 5 star price"
This hotel is an excellent position for west end shops etc however the hotel was left wanting in the quality of our room and service. We had booked a family room which only had a very small shower room and no bath, very little space to put toiletries etc. No dressing table in the room. Our room was a little dusty round the edges, dirty cups were not […] taken away or replaced when the room was made up, the tea and coffee were not replenished and there were no biscuits and only ghastly UHT milk pots. The bar fridge was not plugged in. Breakfast was fine but expensive, unfortunately the dining room is not big enough for the hotel, so it is rather pot luck as to whether there is a table for you, otherwise you may have a 20 minute wait in the foyer. Unacceptable in our opinion for a five star hotel. In a nutshell I am sure there is better value for money elsewhere. Simply not good value for the money. 信じられない事にバスルームに隔たり無しにクローゼットがある為衣服に蒸気がこもり不快でした。 お風呂・洗面台も物凄く使い憎く（シャワーも固定・バスタブ水温調節も上層部）疲労を覚える為に入浴する様な毎日でした。 フロントへの連絡番号等 部屋には何の案内もなく 不親切の塊！（後にホテルマンを部屋に呼び説明させた。） またセキュリティの為とかでエレベーターには自室のカードキーを挿入して乗り込むと作動するのですが最初のひとりが挿入すると以後の人は何もしなくても可動となります。これでセキュリティに通じるシステムとは信じ難いです。 廊下・隣室からの音侵害は凄まじく低価格設計・安普請の典型の様なホテルです。 気が利いて居る様にみえながら真の無いメンテナンス 頭でっかちな温かみの無い環境に辟易！ 二度と利用し […] ません。 Continua a leggereRecensioni obiettive Hotels.com

夫婦の旅行で4泊しました。利便性、広さ、サービス、どれも最高のホテルでした。まず、近くにある地下鉄のGreen Park駅は3つの路線が交差しており、観光に大変便利でした。ホテルの部屋は大変綺麗で且つ広く、特にバスルームはシャワースペースとバスタブが分かれていたのが良かったです。最後にサービス面ですが、日本から持って行った歯ブラシをルームメイク時に捨てられてしまったことをフロントに告げると、すぐに責任者が掃除を行った人を連れて部屋に謝りに来てくれて、ホテルの歯ブラシをくれた上、「他にも何かあれば、何でも言ってください」と、こちらが申し訳なくなるぐらい頭を下げられました。日本でもこんな対応はなかなかないのではないかと思いました。値段はそこそこしますが、十分その価値のあるホテルだと思いました。ち […] なみに、ロンドンでさらに高級なホテルにも泊まりましたが、ネームバリューだけな気がしました（部屋が狭く、利便性も微妙）。上で述べた通りの理由で、実質面ではこちらのホテルの方が良かったです。またロンドンに滞在する際は是非泊まりたいホテルです。 Continua a leggereRecensioni obiettive Hotels.com

孫と二人 初めての イギリス ロンドン。地の利の良さで選んだ メイフェアー。ホテルに着いたら 五つ星なのに 堅苦しくなく 部屋も 思っていたより広くて孫も 大喜び。 地下鉄の駅まで3分 バッキンガム宮殿にも15分 フォトナムメースン、 スーパーにも近くて便利でした。 ただ料金の割に 部屋が内側向きで 見晴らしが悪かったのと コンシェルジュ中の一人の態度が イマイチだったのが残念でした。Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"hotel may fair très bien situé"
hotel superbe digne d'un 5 etoiles super bien placé pour tous nos déplacements en bus metro taxi tout est facile à deux pas de picadilly et à 3 rues du magasin abercrombie & fitch (il faut être patient) une demi heure pour entrer et 1 heure pour payer mais on le sait c'est le succès de cette enseigne.Revenons sur l'Hotel placé dans une ruelle il est […] au calme hall d'entrée immense resto+ bar ; chambre immense moquette bien épaisse donc absolument pas de bruit ; nous avions pris 1 chambre familiale avec 2 gds lits vraiment super ; tv b&o ;sdb en marbre bien chaude tout à dispo. "The May Fair ved Green Park"
Vi hadde et upåklagelig opphold på The May Fair. Vi hadde to forskjellige rom som familie på 4. Rommene var ulike men "vi kunne leve med" at de hadde valgt forskjellig Bang&Olufsen TV på rommene og innredning og bad som stod i stil med dette. God middagsrestaurant til rimelige priser dersom man reserverte bord fra resepsjonen. Mer vil vi helst ikke […] si da vi håper på at hotellet er ledig neste gang vi er i London.
