Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013Il piccolo hotel design è particolarmente carino e funzionale, si trova direttamente su una delle vie principali del centro balneare a pochi passi dalla spiaggia, dalla famosa bangla road e dal centro jungcelyon. La posizione ha ovviamente i suoi lati negativi e se si cerca pace e tranquillità certo questo albergo non è la soluzione ideale. La pulizia è buona, le camere spaziose ma non enormi, la colazione piuttosto semplice non è ideale per chi abituato a colazioni "continentali".

Ci siamo trovati ottimanente, sempre andati a Bangla Road a piedi e mangiato nelle vicinanze. Davvero un'ottimo hotel, consigliatissimo!

The rooms were cleaned, but poorly upkept, the staff, all but on nice lady, Joy, was un-eager to help. There was little to see near here for night life or day tours. It is right in the middle of the smelly downtown with trash all over the streets. The room had comfortable beds, but there was little luxuries like lotions or a robe, iron,... things you […] don't always use, but there was a few times it would have com in handy. The resturaunt holds no set hours for closing, so if you are eating dinner there, don't caount on them being there after your day tour elsewhere.The mall that is attached was a great relief though. Took premium room for $31 and really it was worth it: I did it again for my return before flying. Down town phuket so no beach but just 10 minutes from the pear for departure to the islands. 45 minutes from airport but could be twice as much if rush hours 7-9 ans 4-6pm. Free. "Gets the job done"
Stayed at the Rattana Mansion for 2 nights mid-week. For what we paid, it was certainly worth the value. We appreciated that the staff at the counter were able to speak some English & help us out. We did not stay in Phuket long enough to get a feel of the location but there are pleasant family restaurants & tourist shops close by. Twice cab drivers […] had trouble finding the hotel so it may be a little out of the way. The rooms were clean, large & comfortable. The bathrooms did not provide any soap which is unusual... I also appreciated that they offered a baggage storage. My one complaint would be the bathroom...The shower was luke warm at best & could have benefited from some grout. "Well situated for markets, shopping and buses"
Good points. Great place to stay if you are on a budget. The room was large with a super king size bed and daily make down service. There is internet ,but it is a slow and intermittent at peak timings. Bottle water was replaced every day. The staff are polite and smiley. The hotel is situated In the heart of the market district with reasonable quality […] Thai food at a reasonable price. There is a local amenities store that has a mixture of local and western products, the fruit market is very cheap. Not so good. The hotel food is really quite bad with small portions, the fruit and veg were passed there best and the beer is twice the price as in the shop next door to the hotel and the wine was of poor quaulity. Phuket City does not have a lot too offer unless you like to wander the markets and shops, but the excursion packages will pick you up at your hotel - Shop around the travel agencies for the best deal and don't rely on the hotel to organise as the price will be more. Tuk Tuks are expensive , I was here for a week, hired a scooter and explored out of the city south to the less touristy beaches. Be warned that the roads a chaotic at rush hour and don't pay any more than 250 baht per day . pa Tong beach takes about 25 - 30 mins over the mountain pass. If you are wanting to stay close to the pier for a ferry, this is highly recommended. Only 10 minutes to the ferry compared to 30+minutes from Patong and Karon Beaches, and only a 5 minute walk into Phuket town. "Most pleasant experience"
We stayed here because of some of the negative reviews we read and wanted to see for ourselves being laid back travelers. We found it ideal in location, close to shopping, markets, food, etc. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Arrived for check-in, and took some time to find us. Be prepared to carry your own luggage upstairs. Only two floors, so no lift. Staff don't assist - well for us anyhow.Room is quite run down, with very hard beds. A list of items and costs readily available should you break anything - and fair enough. No safe for valuables, and the view is atrocious […] unless you like looking at rust and concrete. Bathroom was dirty, with no accessories provided apart from a shower cap and body wash. "Perfectly adequate for the backpacker on a budget"
We used this hotel as a cheap overnight stop after a flight to Phuket that got in at midnight before an early morning ferry the next day. Cheap and cheerful - comfortable bed and a clean bathroom with a warm shower. Adequate for what we needed and a bargain. Reception and exterior of the hotel not particularly aesthetically pleasing, however the room […] was a nice surprise. Didn't stay longer in Phuket as heard mixed reviews (although the secret quiet beaches are meant to be amazing), and if staying longer would look at somewhere a little more upmarket. We stayed here as a stop over from Koh Phi Phi, before we moved on the next day. We had already been to Phuket. This was perfect location for the city. With everything from bank, resturaunts, bus stops, shops, shopping mall (western and eastern) within five walking distance. The staff were very friendly, generous, and helpful. "Para uma noite sem malas pesadas, OK"
O hotel dá o que promete: estadia barata e honesta. Note que não há elevador ou mesmo alguém para auxiliar com as malas. Assim, recomendo que se tiver uma mala pesada deixe na recepção (subir dois a três andares com mais de 20Kg não estavam na minha programação de férias). ao lado de um shopping e um SPA de massagens, restaurantes e do pier para pegar […] o ferry boat. O Staff faz o que pode para auxiliar, mas muitas vezes não chega a ser eficiente. Hotellet er ikke nyt og ligger i den lokale del af Phuket Town. Stedet gør ikke så meget væsen af sig, men der er alt hvad man skal bruge, incl. gratis vand i køleskabet, og hvis man mangler noget er der både shopping mall og 24h supermarked under 100 meter væk. På den nærliggende gade er der et par gode massagesteder, jeg prøvede 30 min. fodmassage, […] det var 200 bath så meget fair priser. Hotellet vinder på deres fantastiske service og imødekommenhed, jeg manglede f.eks transport til Phi Phi og den klarede de på 5 minutter incl. opsamling fra hotellet og til en lavere pris en jeg selv kunne booke til. Egentligen är det väl Phuket stad som är tråkigt. Hotelet ligger extremt nära den shopping som finns och jag hittade ett mysigt kaffe i närheten som hade gratis wifi med mycket bättre anslutning än vad hotellet hade. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind von der Ausstattung her in etwa vergleichbar mit ein 2 Sterne Hotel in Europa. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und hell, die Aussicht war allerdings nicht der Rede wert (man schaut direkt auf das Nachbargebäude). Dette hotellet kom inn under et annet setd, og jeg sjekket desverre ikke godt nok beliggenhet før jeg dro. Men som et utgangspunkt i Phuket Town er det ikke så ille. Sett opp mot pris kan det virkelig forsvares.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Cheap hotel. Not very High standard"

Vi bodde på rattana mansion en natt i december. Hotellet var sådär, rummen var rena. Men det luktade illa och var väldigt mörkt. Bra läge däremot, precis bredvid Robinson shopping center.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Mitten in Phuket Town gelegen, aber..."
Insg. war der Hotelaufenthalt angenehm. Es gab kein Frühstück dazu. Aber die Zimmer waren zum großen Teil sauber. Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt, da ist nur leider nichts los. Weder morgens noch abends. Es gibt abends einen Nachtmarkt, fußläufig. Das ist schon sehr nett und man kriegt dort auch gutes, günstiges Essen, aber jeden Tag kann man da […] auch nicht hingehen! Unser Zimmer lag im 1. OG, ganz hinten. Dort ging das WLAM leider kaum! Wir mussten entweder in der offenen Tür stehen/sitzen oder auf dem Gang in der Nähe des Routers stehen, damit es klappt. Minuspunkt dafür. Das Personal ist insg. sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Fazit: Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist es gut und günstig, will man aber mehr Action, so geht man gleich zu den Strandregionen, und spart sich die tägliche Fahrt und das Geld dorthin! "Greit hotell til en ekstremt billig penge"
Vi var her bare ei natt, før vi skulle videre ut å øyhoppe rundt i Thailand. Servicen var helt topp, og det var nok med butikker/spa/god mat i nærheten. Døren til badet var ødelagt, og dusjen kald, men ikke mer enn man kan forvente til en så billig penge.
