I stayed in this room because I was attending a conference nearby. It doesn't have a view of the water, although some might think so because of the name. It is beautifully decorated, well run, has a great bistro in the lobby, ample parking, convenient to many things. An exceptional business hotel, but it is on the edge of a basic industrial park, so […] if you're going for work, it's fine. Just a one night stay, this Hotel is close to my work. Much less cost than the Residence Inn a block away. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I was not able to take advantage of the facilities at all, however I look forward to another stay here and make more use of the amenities. Yes, I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. My only regret is that we had a long car trailer, and when we got to the main entrance, we had to back up two turns to get a place where you can park the truck and trailer. The hotel appears rather new - or has been very well maintained. Very pleasant stay and staff. Wifi in the room somewhat slow though. Ample parking. I'd stay there again. No microwave in room makes it inconvenient. Should have at least continental breakfast instead of just coffee. Had to request for the room to be cleaned after we left for three hours. We had the "do not disturb" sign earlier but did not realize we should have requested room to be cleaned before we left.

We checked in past midnight and the front desk offered us complimentary late check-out which was very nice. No tub, but bathroom was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant one-night stay!

We enjoyed our short stay at the Courtyard. We were in town for a wedding and the hotel was located in a close proximity to the wedding venue. The room was very clean and the bed and linens were very comfortable. The room was very quiet, we did not hear any of our neighbors. There was a small refrigerator and wet bar in the room so you could bring in […] snacks, drinks etc if you wanted to. The free starbucks coffee was a plus.Overall a pleasant stay. My partner and I wanted to get away for a day so we decided to stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Oceanside for a single day. Great service from the moment we checked in, all the way to the time we left. The room was small but very tasteful and I like the fact there was a fridge in the room, but no microwave. Well, this place is brand-spankin new, and everything about it was PERFECT. Awesome staff, great rooms, everything worked flawlessly, easy to find. Absolutely a fantastic deal for this place. Will be bringing the whole family next time for a San Diego trip. Highly recommended.

My family stayed here for the night. Hotel staff was amazing and friendly. We ordered spare towels and had them in less than 5min. Hotel was spotless and on point. Great selection of breakfast and bar. Overall, impressed.

Quite new (about 10 months), in a newly developing area about a mile away from freeway and city bustle and noise. Quiet area and breezy, fresh air (on a hill). Very nice room - King bed plus seating area with small couch and comfy chairs. Free WIRED (secure/high-speed) internet in rooms!

A beautiful hotel, well worth the price. The only thing we have to comment is that the adjoining rooms do not have ANY block of sound between them. We were up from 7am til we checked out being bombarded with kids screaming next door and banging, and being generally obnoxious. We wanted to sleep in an enjoy our morning-- but that is impossible. You can […] even hear the TV from the next room. We asked Guest Services to call them, but we never heard the phone ring. My recommendation is to ask for a room that does NOT join up to another room. It was brand new. Only has a shower in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Everyone was very helpful. The pool and grounds were beautiful. There are no restaurants close, we had to drive at least 1-2 miles to find one but we did not mind. I would stay again.

We only needed a place to stay overnight and this was a great choice. Our room was very comfortable and clean, as well as, pretty quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful, also.

Very noisy kids running up and down the hall at 1030 at night. My 4 year old couldnt sleep, she kept getting woken up from the noise. The hotel looks outstanding, the staff on the other hand is a little lacking. As for the "restaurant, its not, its a cafe with limited selection, if they even have the ingredients to make what you want. It was great! Front desk and housekeeping staff were professional and courteous. The only negative was that we needed a late lunch and the Bistro wasn't open until 5. On 2 of 6 nights there were loud groups that interfered with sleep. Management should have been on top of the noise before having to complain. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay, comfortable bed.

After my disappointment that the hotel was no way near the ocean(side), I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel in general. The pool was very clean as was the little laundry room for guests (a nice feature but no air in the room and very hot after the dryers were working). The guest computers did not work very well (slow) […] and were unable to print directions or boarding passes. Another big disappointment was no free breakfast (all the other hotels on this trip included free breakfast including other Marriotts). The front desk staff was excellent. Pretty much everything was good or excellent, but there were two issues. The first one is the AC got very loud in the night, so much that I had to turn it off. The second thing, and really a major one, is the pillow are just too plush, provide no support. Me and my girlfriend had bad neck and back soreness in the morning.

8 nights, June/July 2012- Staff was just wonderful!!! They really did help us out on choices from dinner to local places/topics. The lobby/ office area/ lounge/ restaurant area has lots of space that everyone can be doing what they want or need to do in comfort. Really enjoyed the gas fire pits outside! Location was good for us, 5-10 short mins drive […] to Pier, good area (surrounded mostly by fields, also by VA building and strip mall w/ a few sm restaurants/bar) not walking distance to anything other than a strip mall, but thats what made it safe & quite outside by the fire with our feet up having a beer (sold at desk). My family and I were pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel, very knowledgable and helpful staff. We were on vacation and needed directions they were able to help. The grill was great and Starbucks was a perk! Pool area clean and continually stocked with towels. Would recommend to anyone.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We asked the gentlemen at the front desk for a restaurant recomendation and he suggested a nice little italian restaurant by the name Rosina. It was excellent. The hotel was also beautiful, will stay here again.

This Hotel has only been open for a few months, so everything is modern. Hotel is well maintained and staff are helpful and friendly. My only negative comment is I prefer to stay in hotels where breakfast is included in price of stay; however, I was aware breakfast wasn't included before booking with this hotel. This hotel was rated with less stars than the 4.5 star hotel we stayed at in Carlsbad, but it surprized us as was just as nice. We had a room that had a slidding door that openned close to the swimming pool and jacuzzi.

These are the heaviest doors I have ever seen, and they slam all day and night and are so loud! Room is pretty but oddly laid out. Need another mirror outside the bathroom. Shower was nice. Housekeeping showed up at pm but we were getting ready. At least the neighborhood itself was quiet on the weekend, it's a business park.
