Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 27 feb 2013ottimo rapporto qualita/prezzo.Situato proprio vicino a Ocean Drive e'in posizione strategica e nel cuore della vita notturna di MIAMI BEACH .La camera penso sia stata da poco ristrutturata in quanto si presentava nuovissima in ogni componente e questo me lo fa pensare in quanto all'esterno c'era del materiale tipico per le ristrutturazioni interne ed esterne comunque un ottima soluzione considerato che con internet il prezzo era di 66,00 euro mentre una settimana dopo passato di persona in hotel e chiesto il prezzo,questi era di ben 199,00 dollari USA.Ottima soluzione.

"Close to the beach"
What I like about this place is that its only 2 blocks away from the beach and close to many restaurants. The have a nice little lounging area outside the rooms which is a great place to just hang out and read a book. There is no pool, so look elsewhere if you're looking for that. Because people book here for days, weeks and months at a time, they try […] to cater it to those visitors. They have washers and dryers located in the back for doing laundry. The rooms have a decent size fridge and a small kitchen. Being so close to the beach made the hard wood floors a real pain when you drag in sand. We had to lay our towels down so we wouldn't track sand into the beds. You can tell that they recently updated all of the rooms and I wish they had spent a little more money on the quality of beds. One night was rough enough, I couldn't see myself sleeping on those beds for days at a time. So if you're looking for a comfy bed, keep looking. "Gorgeous Spacious Room, Great Location by Beach"
We would stay here again in a heart beat! Robert was great! We arrived early and was able to store our bags and then check into our room early. We received a map of locations near by and free wifi. Oh my god what a dump. In fact, how it could be ranked 4.1 by hotels.com is a complete mystery to me, and as an avid user of the site it causes me to question the rankings. "great hotel, great location"
I would recomed this hotel to anybody, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room/hotel could not have been cleaner once you went into the room you could litterly smell the cleanliness. It was very secure and we felt safe as the hotel had a locked gate with keypad enterance also a kepad entrance for the hotel room and free wifi number given […] but you could also use the main computer in reception if you need to print boarding passes etc. The hotel was very well located close to lincon road.. It is something from a bad horror flick . Its like an old apartment building . Its more od a hostel. Very out of date .. And creepy. We had two major issues:[1] the toilet in our room wasn't flushing properly. It's not something you want to deal with on holiday. "Basic hotel with dynamite staff!"
We stayed at the Hotel 18 because of its proximity to the convention centre (we were in Miami Beach for the boat show). The hotel is nothing fancy, no amenities, no pool, not even Kleenex in the bathrooms, but it's clean and the bed was cozy. From a hotel-ratings standard it's more like a two star, but Will, Alex and Robin are the greatest concierges […] we've ever met which raised this star rating considerably. Thank you to all three of them - gracias por todo!! There are lots of nice restaurants in the immediate area, and it's just outside of the party area on a quiet street. If you're renting a car, be sure to reserve a parking spot as soon as you make the room reservation. Parking spaces for the hotel are extremely limited, and we ended up feeding the street meter for two days before a hotel space opened up. Again, we felt that the boys at the concierge were extremely helpful and were earnestly trying to get us out of our parking dilemma. First-class staff! "Excellent hotel with great location"
This hotel is extremely well located to walk to places and events in South Beach Miami just about a block west of Collins Ave at 18th. It is a short walk to the Big Bus tourist bus stop on Collins and numerous restaurants and the weekend open air market on Lincoln Rd. Mall. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and got us into our room a little early […] as we arrived on a morning flight. The room was clean as a pin and well equipped (bathroom goodies, kitchenette with microwave, frig, dishes, coffeemaker with coffee etc., flat screen TV, good air conditioning) and there is a lovely outdoor patio area with palm trees with ashtrays for the smokers (rooms are non-smoking). Arrived there on a Saturday evening, the receptionists made it clear that they did not want to work but rather go party. They dealt with our check-in (and that of other guests) extremely slowly and they lost my parking reservation (parking in Miami Beach is horrible). "Charming place, but noisy"
The hotel itself is nice. Some rooms are larger than others, and you have to request a parking space at least a week ahead of time if you are driving a car there. Otherwise, be prepared to park at the convention center or mall nearby for $18 / day. Nice clean room in a great location. Your in walking distance to the beach, restaurants & shopping. If you want some cheaper restaurants take the farther walk to the tready Ocean Drive area. I found this hotel online and had to correspond with them on several occasions regarding our trip and they were fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond what any hotel has ever done for us in the past. My wife and me stayed here for a few nights while we were in Miami for our honeymoon. They actually bumped us up to a 1 bed room apartment for free. Plenty of room in the apartment. Lots of places to shop and eat in the local area. CVS right down the road for food and snacks. Also about 5 min or less walk from the beach. Cheap price for the area that […] you are staying in. The hotel was in a great location. It was just a block from the Convention Center, a block from Lincoln & a block from Collins. Close to everything, without being on top of it all. I stayed here 5 nights as a solo traveller for pleasure. First morning the shower curtain and pole fell off the wall and smacked me on the head. It had just been put up in a lacklustre way. One end of the pole had no rubber so it could not stick. I complained and it was just put up as before, not repaired. The rooms can be noisy. I had the corner room […] next to 2 streets. A lot of hooting during the night and early morning. Had road works going on the whole week, sometimes starting at 6:45am! Overall it's a nice hotel with a courtyard to get out of your room a bit while at the hotel. Personally I'd pay more for a pool area. I thought it was great. The location was perfect. The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Only thing to know is you have to arrange parking when you book your stay, as there's limited parking in the whole area. Check-in a breeze, staff super friendly and informative. One block to beach, quiet street, nicely furnished, full kitchen nicely done. Very close to tons of shopping and eateries. Free Internet and printer for our boarding passes when we left. But, staff did NOT sweep floor daily, which was sorely needed given we were at the beach a lot. And they forgot […] to change the towels one day. No phone in room. But, had two flat screen large televisions. Great place woul stay there again.
