Lastarria Boutique Hotel Santiago

Very nice hotel. We stayed here for three nights. One night was loud due to the room above us packing and leaving for the airport at 2 am. Noise carries pretty good due to hard wood floors. Good location for sight seeing.

It's a great hotel overall, but i would consider it just for leisure purposes and not for business. The reason is basically because the room I selected has no facilities for a business traveler. No desk, no place to sit and write, no specific lights for that and no room for clothes. There were no place for hanging a suit, shirt or nothing. Just a small […] place over the safety box that's not enough for male size clothes. So, practically i didn't get my stuff out of the case. Very uncomfortable. Other point to improve is variety of meals for room service and the breakfast service. The rest of the hotel service was great, taking into account that is a boutique hotel, so you will not find dozen of employees. It's really quiet, the ancient building is amazing, and you can sleep even better than home. Y strongly suggest the place for a personal trip, not for business. Continua a leggere

The hotel is beautiful, the common areas and the rooms are well designed with care to details. A big issue is the sound insulation as the floors are old creaky boards and when people are moving next door it sounds like they are walking inside your room, really! Lovely small boutique hotel that does pretty much everything right. The room (Junior Patio Suite) was a little small, but has a beautifully appointed large bathroom and a very nice large deck which catches the sun. Comfortable bed, very nice linen. We stayed at Lastarria Boutique Hotel for 8 nights in the middle of September 2012. The location was amazing just a few blocks from a major subway station. The service was great with breakfast included, tea time service in the afternoon (we only made it once, since we were out enjoying the city most of the time) and tea delivered to your room every […] night. They also have turndown service every evening with Ferrero Rocher and a bottle of water. The staff were very pleasant, my only disappointment was that I was looking forward to a boutique hotel in which you have a bit more of contact with the owner or manager, this didn't happen though we did get a welcome card in our room when we arrived. Wow what a gem of a place! This hotel has only 14 rooms. I stayed in room 2 (a junior suite). The entire room was top of the line. Modern and very clean. The bathroom was all tile and spotless. The cleaning staff was outstanding. The front desk was one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. A top notch, value for money hotel that delivers a 1st class experience. Almost everything about this hotel was 5-star, the bed was excellent, breakfast was the best we've had (still no bacon though) in the 4 weeks we've been travelling in Argentina/Chile, the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The little things set it apart - the turndown […] service, chocolates, water, slippers by the bed and robes. It was within a block of a great wine tasting restaurant and within 10 minutes of the fishmarket (fish restaurant area). I was looking for a hotel in Santiago to relax in for a couple of days at the end of a 4 week tour around South America. The Lastarria fitted the bill ideally. It was close to the centre of town; was quiet; and had reasonable rates. The room was large and very comfortable. One of the best rooms i have ever stayed in..... the loft. Huge size, was bigger than most 2 bed apaprtments. Spa in the room was used everyday! Close to the centre of town and access to all the tourist sights, but on sundays there is a huge market just around the corner that was just brilliant. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Lastarria Boutique Hotel is conveniently located close to the city center, yet in trendy area with plenty of restaurants and boutiques within walking distance. Rooms are tiny and overpriced. Wardrobe closet is Lilliputian in size; shirts or pants cannot hang straight down, and you have to sit on your bed to open the door. Only one tiny dresser drawer […] means you need to keep your clothes in your suitcase which could not fit between the bed and the dresser. We really loved this hotel! It is perfectly beautiful, cosy, homely, modern and classy hotel all in one. We arrived at 4am after a flight change and the staff were ready for us with our late check in, helped us with our luggage and still took the time to explain how everything worked and go through all the details we needed. WE had a Junior Suite with […] our own private terrace and it was perfect. The room was so beautifully decorated we took photos so we could get ideas to decorate our own house. The terrace was a wonderful place to sit outside with a bottle of wine and just relax. Location was great as well, Lastarria is a really cool area with lots of cafes, cultural activities, markets and music. What a pleasant surprise! The hotel is beautiful, as was our room. Very modern with lots of great sunlight in the gorgeous bathroom. We were so surprised to have the big outdoor terrace off the room, I only wish we would have stayed there for more than one night so we could enjoy it more! We found the hotel to be pleasing. The staff were helpful, particularly when my mother became ill during our stay. The only problem we had with our room was there was no wardrobe to hang any clothes. We also did not think there was much variety in the way of breakfast. Overall, the hotel is kept beautifully and there are a lot of personal touches.

A charming hotel, with attentive staff that speak English as well as Spanish. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, with omelettes made to order and the best coffee I have ever had. It was a perfect place for us to relax on our last couple of days in the city. If we were staying longer I would want to be in a larger room in the hotel. Lastarria is a lovely hotel located in Santiago across from the former U.S. embassy and in a pleasant neighborhood reminiscent of Palermo in Buenos Aires. It also reminded my wife and me of a hotel in Madrid, the AC Santa Mauro, which is one of the finer European hotels. Lastarria's staff was unfailingly warm and friendly; the hotel and our room's […] design and finishes were polished and tasteful. Our room was on the first floor, and had a separate door to a small sequestered sitting area in the hotel's back adjoining a garden and jewel like pool. Through the garden you could also enter the hotel's dining room where a more than adequate continental breakfast was served. My wife and I stayed one night at the hotel after five days in Patagonia, including three days of hiking. The hotel was a haven, a wonderful punctuation point to a memorable trip. A little bit nervous about booking something from the web without having a recommendation from anyone we know. However, pleased to say that the ratings and reviews by others were accurate, and we had no nasty surprises! Fantastic bathroom amenities, 'plumptious' bed and pillows, lovely attention to detail. This is a small, refined and tasteful contemporary hotel. The historic building has been beautifully restored and the interior design and interior architecture are top notch. The pool is very serene and spohisticated. It's surrounding landscaping is very well thought out. The premises are quiet and immaculate. The staff is well trained and fluent in […] English. The breakfast buffet was included in the room price. It featured a generous array of pastries, cereal, yohurt and cheese plus eggs cooked to order. Service was accomodating, and the food was very good. A small negative is that the hotel is a little hard to find. It is located on a small side street not always known to taxi drivers. Also the neighborhood is bohemian and relatively safe, but a little grimey. Universities and museums are close by, but this is not an upscale area. My recommendation was to install an awning over the front door to make the entrance easier to see. Another small negative is that the conceige service is not there yet. An additional recommendation is the development of a concierge handbook and list of daily events taking place. A guest would be advised to have a plan for his or her activities. Lasstaria is newly opened and is a smooth and refined operation. I would recommend it. Continua a leggere

This really is what it says it is, a boutique hotel. Lastarria has all the qualities of a top class hotel with the personal service of the friendliest B & B. There were always friendly staff available and we felt that they offered great service. The receptionist came running after us one day with 2 umberellas as he thought we would need them - how right […] he was. This was a simple gesture but the attention to this sort of detail is everwhere. Beds are large and comfortable. Showers great and stylish. Breakfast selection was really nice , lots of choicewith good coffee. There are only a few rooms but anything you'd expect from a large hotel can be found here. The cool and fragrant public areas are spacious and you certainly apprectiate how skillfully vereything has been slotted into place. Really wonderful place to explore from. Continua a leggere

It was wonderful, not cheap, but certainly worth the money. I had a wonderful stay at Lastarria, my one comment is more of a tip, request a room above the ground floor, as I had some trouble with street noise/smokers directly outside my terrace. The room was beautiful and impeccably maintained.

I cannot praise this hotel highly enough, from beautifully designed building to the friendliness of the staff. My room was about as good as any I have stayed in, comfy beds and the location fantastic. If you prefer a smaller hotel this has the be one of the best in Santiago.

Lastarria Hotel is brand new, with great staff, cozy atmosphere and best location ever. Close to all the good restaurants, bars and must-see sights. Rooms decoration are clean and cool and you can have all checked to your final bill (taxi, day-trips, taxes), very convenient! Spent my honey moon there and they really made it special!

I really liked staying at this hotel. The staff was polite and friendly and the room was exactly what I expected from a small and charming boutique hotel. Its location allowed me to do all my sightseeing on foot, but there is a subway station nearby. Will probably stay there on my next visit.

パトロナートの近くなのでこのホテルにしました。冷蔵庫もあり、ベットもキングサイズで、シャワールームも綺麗だし（シャワーは備え付けの固定式ではなく、ちゃんとホースがついてた）、ドライヤーもチリによくある備え付けのタイプではなく、ちゃんと大きくてパワーのあるドライヤーでした。ただ、外壁に付けてあるライトが夜でも煌煌と光っていてまぶしかったのと、カーテンが薄いのでその光を遮れなかったのが残念でした。朝食はちゃんとエスプレッソマシーンでコーヒーを入れてくれて、オムレツ（または目玉焼き）を注文してから作ってくれるサービスがありました。

Hôtel original et extrêmement bien situé: au calme, mais aussi à deux pas du centre-ville et des attractions touristiques. Décoration harmonieuse, chambre très confortable, salle de bains immense, petit déjeuner pour gourmets, beau jardin et belle piscine dont nous n'avons, hélas, pas pu profiter compte tenu de la saison (hiver).
