Hotel Blue Sea Don Jaime Maiorca

Unlike most of the other guests we weren't staying on an all inclusive basis just bed and breakfast. The rooms were ok however, the lack of effective air conditioning was a big problem. The pool as we had read was small but clean however there were far too few sunbeds. joke hotel, good for dieting alcoholics, bar staff , and waiters very pleasant. Be careful of the food, its designed to help commandos cope with POW food when they are captured. If you want to eat out I can reccomend Yates bar , just around the corner, most of the other residents will be there too. Watch out for the hotel chef , trained at hotel bastardos, […] see what happens if you misplace a spoon! Bar staff are amazing and drinks flow freely until 11pm, Barmen are diamond geezers . I booked this hotel last minute so didn't check the reviews until after booking. What a mistake that was because the reviews would have put me straight off. We booked this hotel as it was rated 3 star and having stayed in many 3 star establishments over the years felt it would be satisfactory. We also booked all inclusive for the first time as we were […] on a tighter budget this time around. We arrived at the hotel just in time for lunch and were checked in fairly quickly so no complaints there. The room we were given was very basic and dated but functional. The cleaning service was completely another matter. We were there for a week and all the maid did was make the beds and replace toilet rolls/towels. Considering temperatures were reaching 30 degrees and the air conditioning was less than satisfactory the sheets should have been changed at least twice during this time but they were never changed. The bedspreads smelt of smoke which leads me to believe they hadn't been changed after the previous guests....yuck!! We threw them in the top of the wardrobe but they still found their way back on the bed everyday the maid had been in! Food was diabolical...ok if you want ot eat the same thing everyday, the menu was repeated on a daily basis for all three courses. After a couple of days we decided to eat out and I'm so glad we did as we found some lovely restaurants in the resort. The pool area was small and the entertainment very poor. El hotel por fuera esta muy bien, la piscina y el bar incluida la terraza estan reformados pero que pasa con los pasillos las habitaciones sobre todo las habitaciones,claro q es barato y q tienen la pulsera pero eso para los q solo vienen a beber y beber pero yo voy de vacaciones SEÑORES QUE SE QUEMO HACE UN AÑO Y MEDIO y lo unico q han echo es reformarlo […] por fuera hacer un lavado de cara pero por dentro esta..... las moquetas de los suelos sin dibujo porque estan neg las puertas y los marcos todas inchadas las paredes de la habitacion se supone q eran blancas con unas manchas negras y marrones con formas de dedos bichitos raros por el suelo de la habitacion y el aseo las camas estaban chafadas en medio de ellas estaban undidas la cisterna del baño no paraba de sonar en el techo alrededor de la salida del aire acondicionado estaba mohoso vamos toda una mancha negra HUMEDADES dentro de la habitacion y al lado de esto habia otra rejilla por la cual veiamos las bobedillas del suelo de la habitacion de arriba vamos que habia un pedazo de agujero. YO ME PREGUNTO CUANTO HACE QUE NO CAMBIAN LAS FOTOS DEL HOTEL PORQUE LAS UNICAS Q SON VERDAD SON LA DEL BAR Y LA TERRAZA Y LA PISCINA VAMOS LAS VISTAS DE FUERA PERO LAS FOTOS DE DENTRO DEL HOTEL SON TODAS MENTIRA PORQUE ASTA LA SALA DEL BUFFE ES MAS PEQUEÑA Y CON MENOS ALIMENTOS DE LOS Q SALEN EN LA FOTO.
