Ho soggiornato per una notte appena scesa dall'aereo e prima di recarmi nel centro di londra. Pulito, comodo e con una buona colazione. A soli 10 minuti di taxi dall'aeroporto.

Piccolo hotel situato in un quartiere residenziale a circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Cambridge, vicino ad un piccolo supermercato fornito. la stanza era abbastanza spaziosa ma il bagno (con doccia) era decisamente piccolo. La camera è fornita di: bollitore con caffe/the a volontà,TV ldc e telefono in camera. Guardate nei cassetti perchè c'è anche l'asciugacapelli. Se devo riportare una pecca: manca il frigo. Il trattamento con prima colazione prevede una scelta tra 3 menu di colazione (inglese, continentale, vegetariana) ma il personale è molto gentile e disponibile a venire incontro a tutte le esigenze. Nel complesso il mio giudizio è positivo.

"Cricketers Arms"
A very nice pub/hotel, had a lovely room very comfertable bed. Good bar food and had a very good breakfast choice. Plenty of free parking and would be handy for the airport if needed.

Excellent accommodation, great value for money, will stay there again when have an early flight from Stansted. Good quality food, just be careful if staying on a Sunday though - as the kitchen closes at 6pm.
It was a last minute booking, due to my normal hotel in Newmarket not being available, (Due to "Ladies Day" at the races). The Hotel is circa 20 miles south of Newmarket, within striking distance of Stansted airport. It is situated in a very pretty village, behind the village green, where no doubt the cricket is played every Sunday....Hence the name […] of the Pub. It was very friendly, clean and homely. The price of the room was "Cheap", given the overall 5 star treatment, provided by the staff. The menu was a little pricey, but not beyond a classy restaurant prices.I can thoroughly recommend this establishment as one, well worth staying at. Continua a leggere

I was over joyed to find this hotel - comfortable, clean and relaxing for a very reasonable price. The food was fantastic too, and the whole atmosphere was one of complete acceptance, almost like being at home, but with waitress service. I had my disabled Mother with me, and this posed no problem at all, and her needs were met with dignity and poise, […] and we were sorry that we could not stay longer. This hotel will become a must for us the next time we embark on such a long journey - Northumberland to Hampshire. Please try this place for yourself, you will not be disappointed! Great Hotel, good quality and services and great food, but in the middle of nowhere...difficult to find the place if you don't know the area.
