Per quanto riguarda la stanza c'erano armadi piccolissimi ci si deve adattare.Buona colazione e molti giovani, dunque alla sera c'era parecchio movimento.

"poca spesa tanta resa!"
Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 29 gen 2013la posizione non è comodissima ma è vicina all'aereoporto di heathrow e comunque ha una tube station a 50metri scarsi e tutto sommato il centro si raggiunge facilmente. La camera era bellissima il costo contenuto, lo staff gentile. Mi sento di consigliarlo a chiunque voglia risparmiare qualcosa ma non voglia rinunciare alla comodità!

"Usato solo per dormire"
Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 11 gen 2013Abbiamo soggiornato al Novotel 5 notti, usandolo solo come base per visitare Londra. Uscivamo alle 8 di mattina e rientravamo alle 9 di sera, quindi in realtà abbiamo visto poco e niente dell'hotel stesso (mai fatto un pasto o usato un servizio al di fuori della camera). Quello che possiamo dire è che alla reception sono molto gentili e disponibili, che il parcheggio è parecchio costoso e purtroppo inevitabile se siete in macchina (non ci sono parcheggi intorno) e la procedura di uscita dallo stesso è curiosa; bisogna infatti farsi dare una card dalla reception per aprire la sbarra, e se c'è coda al banco, occorre aspettare anche parecchio per andarsene. La camera che ci hanno assegnato, in 4 (con 2 bambini) era piccolina, in pratica c'era appena lo spazio per muoversi tra i letti, ma visto l'ottimo prezzo che ci hanno fatto, non ci si poteva certo lamentare. L'unico vero problema l'abbiamo avuto con gli asciugamani: dopo il primo giorno sono "spariti" tutti tranne uno, per ricomparire solo la sera prima della partenza... in pratica abbiamo fatto 3 giorni in 4 persone con un solo asciugamano. Il servizio in camera, quindi, poteva essere decisamente mgliore.

"Excellent hotel in a lovely village"
Couldn't fault the hotel at all - staff were very helpful, breakfast (food and service) excellent, dinner superb (pricey, but worth it) and the room clean and comfortable. "Good location for walking and good restaurant food"
Hotel was clean and comfy, staff very friendly. Restaurant food was good quality. Perfect Location of hotel for walking in countryside even in the snow. heating ok in morning and evening but does go off during the day. Unfortunately we were allocated a room directly above the double entrance door to the bar which was extremely noisy when people were entering and leaving. "Disappointing"
We stayed for one night in a family room which was quite large and had a sofabed, double bed and extra child's bed, all in separate areas. The room was very cold. Three of the four radiators didn't work; we mentioned this and one of the staff came to the room but couldn't get them working either. She said the manager would have a look when he arrived […] at 7pm; but when we returned after dinner, they still weren't working. The child's room was so cold that my son couldn't sleep in it and had to use the sofabed. The bathroom was tiny and badly needed refurbishing. The washbasin was cracked; there was no hot water for a bath in the morning and the top of the tap fell off in my hand. The food in the restaurant was adequate; I asked for pasta for my son, specifically not spaghetti....following which a bowl of spaghetti arrived. In the morning we were asked whether we'd had a good stay and we said it was cold in the room. Her response was "yes, a lot of people have said that". "Uncomfortable, friendly service, 2 star room."
I stayed at this B&B for one night while attending Ashridge and I chose it due to its location 10 minutes away and the fact they had internet connection. As soon as I arrived I asked about wifi and I was told it might or might not work from my room, but I could get good signal at the "pub". First problem was the fact that the connection didn't work […] from the room. I had to find a chair at the entrance of the hotel to do some work but ended up going to the pub when I lost the little signal I was getting there as well. The bed was dreadful, i kept slipping to the side of the bed since the mattress was way past it's lifecycle. The shower had no pressure, possibly due to the fact that it was an electric shower. The toilet flushed through one of those contraptions that grinds everything to pass through the small tubes, which kept making all kinds of noises throughout the night. The service was very friendly and dinner was superb. I liked breakfast, it was plentyful and tasty. I won't be coming back, since my visits to the area need me to do some work on my computer and have a good night sleep, and this B&B isn't up to the task. "Quaint, picturesque and worth the trip from LHR"
A quaint and pleasant country inn reasonably close to Heathrow. The food is, as Michelin used to say "worth a detour". The staff is courteous and eager to please. Aldbury is a nice english village. I would stay here again anytime I had a car.Recensioni obiettive degli ospiti Expedia

"Friendly staff, good location & nice rooms"
We enjoyed our stay at the Greyhound Inn and it was perfectly located to explore the local area on foot and on bike. The staff at the pub were very friendly and breakfast was yummy. "Convenient for lots of varied persuits"

"Gem in a chocolate-box village close to main route"
Friendly welcome, clean and comfortable room, excellent restaurant. Unlucky to be in the only room where the hot water system failed, but the landlord did his level best to put this right - a room swap was impossible, as the accommodation was fully booked - he battled on for at least 3 hours. Nice location, village pub with rooms, very busy bar / restaurant when I stayed. Standard of my room was reasonable, not fantastic, quite old fashioned but comfortable enough. Came here for the beautiful location, this is our second time at the greyhound and I remember the resturant attached to the pub was a lot better 2 years ago! Food not at pub prices quite expensive, I ordered smoked haddock which I felt had been cooked in the microwave with what I thought was frozen veg, not what you'd expect for £15! The menu does get […] you excited but didn't live up to it's expectations!
