L'hotel e' essenziale, addirittura la nostra stanza on aveva comodini! Ma noi l'abbiamo scelta per posizione e prezzo e andava bene cosi'. L'hotel si trova in pieno quartiere indiano. La struttura è moderna e molto ben tenuta. Le stanze sono piccoline ma pulite. Unico neo, le pareti fatte di vetro smerigliato, del bagno! Diciamo che la cosa è un pò imbarazzante se si viaggia in coppia e non si è propriamente una coppia! Per il resto, l'hotel è consigliatissimo.

Ottima scelta, si trova a Little India che non è un quartiere entusiasmante, ma a soli 15 minuti a piedi da orchard road. E' pulitissimo, cosa non comune per Singapore, ma come posizione è meglio il rochor o il selegie. Staff grandioso.

With this prise, the room and all belongings were clean, more than expected. If you're looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay night, I think this hotel is enough good. Also there's seven eleven on the way from the station.

A reasonable price for an ok hotel room in Singapore. Location is good for little India area, altho bit of a walk to nearest MRTs (Little India or Bugis). Deluxe rooms only slightly more expensive but have outside window. Yes, it's a small room, and it doesn't have 5 star luxury, but all in all not too bad for a hotel in Singapore

The area is near little Indian which is pretty shadey to walk at night. It's also pretty far from the mrt train, at least 10 minutes. Also very gross and frustrating is the shower/toilet/sink all in one combination. Mold was growing in toilet paper holder probably bc of all the moisture. After you shower, there is water everywhere, no avoiding it, so […] u have to use a towel to dry the floor after so ur not walking on wet floors later to use the toilet. Also, the noise was a huge problem. There was zero insulation from the door so we would hear people at all hours of the night. Seemed like people were congregating in the halls, when they talked it felt like they were literally in your room, it was so loud. Would hear people doing prayers and housekeeping singing. very compact room with no windows, however, room was clean. Not bad for a short stay, Metro is not very close, you will have to have walk half a mile to get to nearest station. Internet was free, there were few eateries around. Overall recommended if you are not a tight budget.

The hotel is 3 blocks from most things, like the MRT station and Tekka hawker area, so we didn't mind the 10 minute walks. Also very close to Queens bus station that has express buses to JB bus/train & airport. Rooms very small and basic, but clean. No amenities in the hotel, no mini-fridges etc but the staff were very helpful to answer any questions […] you have. We found being close to an MRT station is very important as that is the only way to get around. You can get tourist MRT passes at Bugis station, not Little India station. If all you want to do is sleep and shower, this is a really good value hotel. It is modern inside - the aircon is great, and the bathrooms are fine. Feels safe and clean. No laundry service or room service but the staff will direct you to nearby facilities. For a 2-star hotel, its terrific.

Stayed in Hotel Dickson a week. The hotel was adequate for my needs but they certainly don't go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay and the hotel is quite bareboned for the price (even by US standards). Pros - I liked the location. On the edge of Little India making walking possible to the 2 MRT stations and many of the tourist sites in […] Singapore. Plus there are convenience stores and cheap eating in the neighborhood. The room itself was functional, there is a big TV, the bed and pillows were good quality, and wifi connection was excellent. Cons - First room had no AC. When I told the front desk, I was told they were aware that there was a problem with that room (so why don't they fix?) I was moved to second room that ran hot water quite quickly. I mentioned this to the desk and they acted like it was my fault. The staff at the hotel were occasionally helpful but I never saw any staff member crack a smile during my entire stay. Like the hotel room, the service was functional, just not particularly pleasant. The rooms are really bare boned. There was one very small desk-ish thing in the corner of the room which comprises the only place in the room to set anything. There are no bed tables, no place to set your luggage or basically any tables of any sort. The thing is, if Hotel Dickson was a hostel or a super value hotel, I wouldn't even mention these inadequacies, but it isn't. It's actually quite expensive, especially given the value of the room. Good location, good service. Staff are awesome. Just small rooms but not too bad if youre bot picky. Just a bit scary at night time if you plan on roaming around little india. I suggest you just stay at the hotel by then. Walking distance to sim lim square. We had a good experience all in all :) much recommended!

We are a family of four with two kids, aged 16 and 12. Had to book two rooms as one adult and one kid for each room. Hotel is nice and clean, air-conditioned. Location (Little India) is great if you looking for good Indian food (places to eat within walking distance). Also within walking distance of MRT station (Bugis or Little India). Stayed at Hotel 81 Dickson with my wife. Fifteen minute walk from the metro. As with any discount hotel in Singapore, you can expect a very small room and simple open shower bathroom. Hotel was very nice and clean, good location but the thing that would not make me recommend it to others is simply the plastic matress and the too small bed sheets. It makes sleeping really uncomfortable especially if there are two of you in the bed. I couldn't wait to leave purely to get to a more comfortable bed!

The hotel and room interior is very modern and good looking. I had booked a superior room and rate "Comfort of your room" only with a 3 as there was no shower curtain in the miniscule bathroom, the matress was very hard and the aircon could not be switched off. Other than that it is a good basic hotel that is close to public transportation by bus and […] also not too far from 2 MRT stations that can be reached on foot easily. As the hotel is in a quiet side street, there's not much noise. The hotel staff were all helpful and knowledgable about which busses to catch to certain attractions and assisting with booking a shuttle back to the airport. Wifi in the room was free of charge and very fast and if you don't mind not having a chair and table, you can surf comfortably to schedule the next day's sight seeing or business meetings from your bed. The hotel is located in the center of Little India and it was close enough to destinations in Little India. It is not that far from the Airport and is also close enough to other destinations near by. The hotel is average one night stay hotel not much to be expected but value for the buck spent.

i was given room which is extremely small and without window.when i asked for extra cushion,they asked me to pay extra 40$ for just one cushion.we have to carry luggage by ourselves.location is too crowded.i would not prefer this hotel again.bad experience.........
