Diamond City Hotel Bangkok

Hotel staff was very helpful with directions and city information, getting taxis and navigating the city. There was a tv in the lobby but the AC did not really cool the area adequately. The pool was like a large wading pool in the middle of the lobby, indoor and quite public, Not really a place to hang out for 20 somethings. The price was a bargain […] which is why we did not mind the fact that it was on a dodgy street with motorbike repair shops, and working class vendors. It was a prime location for shoppers with MBK and Siam shopping center one sky rail stop away. We liked the pool, a ten minute walk to the train station. We enjoyed the pool and the free snacks and cordial.

This hotel is not even a 2 star. Several other guest I spoke with were equally as unsatisfied. One guest told me their room had to be switched at least 3 times. My room did not get maid service until the second day, my stay was for 4 days. My light went out in bathroom and needed a simple bulb change but no one came to fix it until the next day. I would […] leave hotel early morning and return after 7pm and room would still not be cleaned. The front desk service was not very helpful because they could not understand english too well. ok hotel for short stay. The hotel is kind of old and rusty but clean, funny thing is that a lot of old things like lamps etc from the 80is or so, still have its plastic cover on so it feels tacky. Didnt try the pool /small family

We had a pleasant stay at the Diamond City Hotel. It's clean and comfortable and the staff is great, while in the public areas of the hotel they are always bringing you some refreshments. You can also have free refreshments 24/7 at the lobby, water, juice etc. They have free wi-fi internet in the lobby and it reaches some of the rooms apparently (ours […] was on the third floor). On a back street 10 mins walk to station. Overall ok, but won't stay there again, need a good maintenance overall

I like this hotel, 24hrs drink, tea and coffee is free......even good variety of breakfast..... full marks to this hotel. walking distance to ratchethewi station and siam discovery MBK and National stadium......Surrounding area little bit slum type but it doesn't matter..... Hope u will find good comfort in thishotel..thanks to hotels.com

Perfect for backpackers, maybe not a very childfriendly neighbourhood. Good staff.

Convenient hotel , helpful staff, surroundings are not that exiting , its not a well maintained hotel, i would rate it average.

the hotel was very difficult to find....sorrounding neighborhood not so good....service was poor because during my stay, my room was not made up the next day! The only good thing was the 24 hour free drinks.

The impression of the hotel you get from the online info and the actual facilities are miles apart. The hotel is cramp and worn and its location is not as convenient as I thought. Omassa hintaluokassaan mielestäni oikein hyvä hotelli. Henkilökunta on erittäin ystävällistä ja palvelualtista.

Prisvärt hotell med perfekt läge. 10 minuters promenad från MBK, Mycket trevlig personal i receptionen som hjälpte oss med allt möjligt. Kommer välja detta hotell igen när jag besöker Bangkok.

酒店位于曼谷市中心，由于不是临街，所以房间很安静，缺点是我住的那个房间的隔音不是特别好，能听到隔壁的声音，但没有太大影响，房间的床垫比较软，不喜欢软床的话休息会有问题。 酒店整体服务还是可以，还附带免费早餐和免费的WI-FI

Ett hotel som man kan bo ett par dagar. Ligger inte för långt från MBK men taxi är rekomenderat. Annar ligger det på en tät gata med en del rörelse. Ett helt ok hotell om man ska vara i Bangkok en kortare period. Ligger på gångavstånd till Siam square och all shopping där. Lite slitet, billigt och med bra sevice av personalen i receptionen.

10 min promenad från Siam och MBK, Man får det man betalar för. Rummen var helt okej. Trevlig personal. Frukosten var inte bra men annars är det värt pengarna. Läget är som sagt bra!

Personalen var dålig på engelska, städningen sådär. Frukosten helt okej. Läget på hotellet var bra och lite mysigt!

Ganska nära siam, med taxi ca. 40 bath. Nära mycket shopping på gångavstånd. Hotellet var gammalt men charmigt. Vi tog ett superior rum, och det var ganska litet. Wifi funkade groteskt dåligt, och kabeltv lika så. Gratis dricka dygnet runt och fin pool, som låg i lobbyn. 値段が安いので、しょうがないと言えばしょうがないのですが、 安くても努力次第でなんとかなりそうな点が、 努力されていない所が見受けられ残念です。 ・予約した部屋と違う部屋に通された ・清掃されたはずの部屋にもかかわらず、 髪の毛、綿ぼこりが落ちている ・ゴキブリが出た 駅から遠い等の問題は安いので我慢できます。 何よりも安さを優先する方、学生さんにはいいかもしれません。

태국에 몇번 여행경험이 있어 위치상 괜찮은 곳으로 잡았는데 생각보다 시설이 괜찮았습니다. 직원들은 아주 친절했으며 호텔에서 약간만 걸어가면 시암쪽으로 갈 수 있어 교통적인 부분도 괜찮았구요.

Vi fikk ikke det rommet vi hadde bestilt da ville de ha exstra penger. hotelrommene er overpriset, og de var ikke rengjort godt nok. Det som staar om hotelet paa deres sider stemmer ikke de har blandt annet ikke peis paa rommet noe de skyter av i annonsen. Aika huonossa kunnossa huhtikuussa 2011 - em voi suositella.

Todella mukava ja rauhallinen hotelli kävelymatkan päässä MBK:sta. Ei kuulu meteliä kadulta. Aamiainen oli hyvä. Varasimme jo uudelleen huoneen. Suosittelen!

Riippuu mitä haluaa lomaltaan mutta minusta toi hotelli on aika syrjäinen sijainniltaan. Skytrain asema oli noin puolen kilometrin päässä syrjäistä katua pitkin kävellen. Öisin aika peloittava kokemus... Muuten palvelu kohdallaan ja kaikki toimi niinkuin pitikin. Mutta baarit ja yleinen yöelämä olivat aika kaukana hotellista ajatellen!

Hinta/laatusuhde todella kohdillaan. Saimme todella hyvää palvelua ja henkilökunta oli kaikenkaikkiaan mukava. Huoneemme oli todella mukava ja sänky oli maailman pehmein. Suosittelen kyseisestä hotellia. Lähellä ydintä, 15min kävely Siam Centeriin ja MBK:lle.
