La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

Abbiamo soggiornato 5 notti in occasione del capodanno2012. Camera 2901, vista sul fiume Hudson a destra e Empire State Building a sinistra. Certo non era quella classica da skyline ma non male... non so se tutte le camera hanno la visuale, anzi non credo, ma comunque vale la pena soggiornarvi in quanto le camere sono pulitissime, più o meno grandi, […] con un bel bagno dotato di doccia spaziosa, cucina con microonde, fornelli, pentole, lavastoviglie e posate oltre ad apriscatole e piatti. A noi è servita tantissimo, camminando tutto il giorno per ore preferivamo pranzare e cenare tranquilli nella nostra stanza con sushi take away o magari scaldando quanto preso nei vari negozietti agli angoli dei blocchi, bevendo buon vino portato da casa senza doverci occupare di lavare nemmeno un bicchiere. Rimane a 5 minuti a piedi da Times Square, una pharmacy è vicinissima all'hotel cosi come molti altri servizi. Al mattino offrono una colazione non proprio continentale ma comunque interessante, sia dolce che salata, danno anche la possibilità di portare qualcosa in camera, magari da stuzzicare più tardi. Un po' di frutta fresca è inoltre sempre a disposizione alla reception. Ho letto in altre recensioni che l'ambiente colazione è piccolo, ma oltre a quella che si vede alla reception ci sono altre due zone dove trovare posto. Stessa cosa vale per gli ascensori in quanto solo qualche volta e in giorni "caldi" di arrivi abbiamo aspettato un po' più del normale. Continua a leggere

hotel situato in zona strategica comodo ,pulito ,accogliente .la mia camera godevadi una strepitosa vista dell' Empire .Viene offerta una ottima prima colazione e da lunedi a giovedi anche un ricco aperitivo serale .

Hotel perfetto per chi vuole godersi il centro di Manhattan, a due passi c'è la metro e a quattro Times Square
Posizonato molto bene, in 10 minuti si e` in times square, l`unico neo la colazione perche` non ci sono sufficienti posti per tutti gli utenti.

L'hotel è comodissimo per visitare la città, in pochi minuti di cammino si è già a Times Square. La prima colazione è un servizio molto buono, considerato che la maggiorparte degli hotel americani (e con un costo così contenuto) non la prevede. "Nice hotel. Would definitely stay here again"
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little small but have everything you need. Extremely well located for Time Square and Macy's. Great having a dishwasher in your room. Your room is constantly top up with coffee. Housekeeping is also non invasive.

Great view from the 36th floor, including the Empire State Bldg. The room had everything we needed and was clean; looked like the website photo. We arrived at 4 am and had no problems checking in. We tended to be out late at night, so we interacted most with the overnight staff who were helpful and fun. Didn't have any worries about walking the neighborhood […] at night. The hotel is great- I'd stay again in a heartbeat. Staff is friendly and professional. Just don't go strolling around for a quaint restaurant- nothing but chain food up there.....

It was an excellent experience. The registration desk is small and the lobby is somewhat frayed. However, the room was large and excellently maintained. The view of the city was stunning. The roof top deck is great. The breakfast was good, as was the wine hour.

"In the heart of New York City"
I enjoyed every minute of my stay at The Element Hotel. The staff is super-terrific! The room was lovely and the view was spectacular! Breakfast was included and they served complimentary beer and wine in the early evening from Monday to Thursday. Great value for the price!

I never write reviews - I just vote with my feet and never go back, but its not often you find a hotel with such great people-check in service staff - you guys rock. I was literally waiting for someone to screw something up but really nothing happened. Dont get me started on the room - perfect size not overdone and impeccably clean - I have found my […] NYC place, close to Times Square, Penn station etc - very nice place - thank you . Got the breakfast included rate - did not expect hot sandwiches, Kashi Cereals, toasted bagels the works included. Great stay - Keep it up. Great hotel! You can't go wrong here being just a couple blocks from the heart of Times Square. The staff were super friendly. Rooms were a bit small but this is typical for New York. Otherwise very clean and comfortable room and we would recommend this hotel. I can't say enough good things about this hotel ! The room was perfect. Big bathroom, extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The room had a desk and as a huge bonus a kitchenette! As for the staff...they were beyond friendly. They provided 5* service from a toothbrush to getting a taxi !! Would definitely recommend this hotel. "All the essential Elements for a big apple visit"
The Element Hotel in west 39th street is located in a quiet street right in the centre of Manhattan. It is a stone's throw away from Times Square and very close to Penn Station, The Empire State Building sub-way stations and all other mid-town attractions. We enjoyed the hearty breakfasts and coffee to go which set us up for long days of sight seeing […] and walking. "Element Hotel: Close to the action and a HUGE room"
HUGE* by NYC standards. This hotel is a block from the subway and was a fantastic value given the size, amenities (including fully stocked kitchenette) and feel. We had a great view on the 36th floor. The only real drawback is the wait for the elevator. The elevators move fast, but leave yourself extra time around checkout and breakfast times. Fuggidabout rude New Yorkers - none of them work at this hotel. The service staff was wonderful - kind, helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and very efficiently laid out. We loved the gleaming white bedding and the two head shower. We would stay here again! And included breakfast and wifi: a great bargain.

I have stayed in nyc twice before stayin here. I stayed in a well known hotel and was quite unhappy. The Element made our time in nyc sooo much better. I will never stay anywhere else in nyc besides here. Lovely clean room(cleaned daily)...big bed., lovely sheets..flat screen tv and massive shower. One block from times square its at the centre OF EVERYTHING! […] We checked-in in appox 30secs! The staff are the MOST friendly, professional and kindest I'VE EVER experienced and I've travelled many places all over the world. They go above and beyond their job duties to ensure your stay is a great one... and helped my friend and I on many quiries we had and did so with such grace and willingness. Free breakfast (buffet) is included in the price and free tea/coffee all day along with free wi-fi, comp area and gym!! I would HIGHLY recommend ANYONE to stay here. My only negative is it doesnt have room service...but seriously..you're in nyc walk ten sec's and you can find any food restaurant. (Or bring food back and cook it in your kitchen!) "Perfect choice for NYC"
Great, clean, comfortable hotel! This fairly new hotel was a welcome retreat after sightseeing each day. The rooms were very nice and clean and included a kitchenette. It's within 3 blocks of Times Sq and a block from the Subway. We will definitely stay here again when we return!
"Very friendly staff"
Very friendy staff, very comfortable bed, room serviced very well. The lobby area is quite small and area is quite hectic in the morning due to this. They had issues with the lifts when we were there. On the whole though a very enjoyable stay due to a very nice comfortable room and very friendly staff. I would definitely stay again.

with 40 floors you need more then 3 elevators . also the elevators are shared with the housekeeping and maintenance staff which put you down to 2 elevators for the guest.i waited a long time most of the time for the elevators...which is unexceptable. if i wasn't 24 floors up i would of taken the stairs....this issue needs to be addressed...everything […] else was great Continua a leggere

I stayed at this hotel for business so the proximity to Times Square wasn't a factor for me, but it is just around the corner making it convenient for tourists. The staff was very warm and helpful, and helped to enrich the stay. The free wi-fi, breakfast and receptions during the evening were also an unexpected surprise, which saved me both time and […] money on extra services, dining, etc. The rooms were clean and comfortable with zero reports or evidence of bed bugs (which is a huge concern for me). I am a frequent traveler and have used Hotels.com in the past, but this hotel was a bad experience from beginning to end. First, there was a 10 minute wait just to get to my hotel room, then no hot water, and when I woke up in the morning, a huge rash on my back and arms. When I went to speak to staff they kept passing me off to another person, it was […] always someone Else's responsibility, but apparently no one is in charge there. "PUT MUSIC IN YOUR ROOMS & FIX KEY CARD DOOR ENTRY"
I was very disappointed that there was no music in my guest room. There was an audio port that could be used to hook up an IPOD to the AV system that ran to the TV; however, I was told that the hotel does not supply the audio cable that would have allowed me to hook up my IPOD and play music. I also was extremely aggravated that the card key door locks […] did not work properly. Instead of agreeing that the locks needed to be fixed, the 3 different staff persons who I spoke with on 3 different occasions gave me the same "canned" response to the effect that the key cards are very sensitive. After having them replace the key card, I went directly to the room (without putting key anywhere near cell phone or credit cards) and each time it would take me about 5 minutes to get the key to work to open the door!!! These shortcomings significantly diminished my enjoyment of this otherwise nice hotel. Continua a leggere

It has been a long time since we have stayed at a hotel that was as friendly and helpful as the Element NY Times Square! Also the location was great.

I stayed in the King studio and thought it was a great room. Good view, clean, nice little kitchen, confortable bed and nice bathroom. Only gripe is that they take 50 dollars out of your account and it takes 10 business days for them to put it back in..

The rooms are comfy and well laid out. It's great to have a full sized fridge. They are nice and clean and new. The staff are great, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in better condition than a lot of places that I have stayed at in NYC. The location is great - you can walk to pretty much everything in mid-town. However, I probably won't stay […] here again. I found the hotel too crowded. There are only 3 small elevators (about the size of your average wheelchair accessible toilet) for a 40 floor hotel that probably has about 400 rooms. So that means waiting about 5 minutes just for an elevator to arrive, and when it does, it's either full when it gets there or it is by the time you get off. You also get to stop at every single floor on the way up or down regardless of the time of day. The breakfast downstairs is great, but it's like a feeding frenzy, nowhere to sit, anxious pushy people breathing over your toast apparently in fear that the food will run out! ALWAYS a line at the front desk. So... it was basically like a *really* nice hostel in a lot of ways. I was also disappointed that they used disposable plates/ plastic cutlery etc for the breaksfast, as one of the selling points for me was the hotel's "environmental focus". I had the misfortune of staying at this hotel whilst they were having a major plumbing/water crisis. No hot water the first day, no water at all the second day. Which meant no shower for 2 days. So a bit of a disaster, but not at all the hotel's fault. They did a great job in a terrible situation. They also compensated me fairly for the inconvenience. The only criticism I have for how they handled this situation is that they could have done a better job in communicating what the problem was, when it was going to be fixed, etc. Continua a leggere

Super Modern Hotel near Times Square and Broadway. Every single staff person was very very welcoming. Always with a smile. We asked for recomendations for Dinner, and they recommended a very good Thai Restaurant called QI. Delicious cuisine and cool atmosphere. The Breakfast was very good.
