non business hotel ma intimo con uno staff internazionale che parla inglese. ottimo servizio, pulizia camere e colazione super. Vicino alle vie commerciali, ristoranti ottimi e siti turistici. Consiglio vivamente.

The hotel was beautiful nicely decorated, giving a sense of the "hutongs" but with more comfort. It had an elegant courtyard, and the rooms were very comfortable. It was located down a narrow alley way, but that provided authenticity to the experience since the hutongs are all built off of similar roads.

Courtyard was an oasis of calm in this busy city. Service and room comfort excellent.

We loved our stay at the Red Wall Garden Hotel. We were at teh Wangfujing location which is on a small street and tucked around a central courtyard. The location was close enough to all of the central sights, but tucked away enough to be a real respite when we were done sightseeing for the day. i loved the hotel, quite, traditional, comfortable.

Hard to find, in old part of city ( 700 years old), but great room, great food at restaurant, good service from very good staff, although their English is limited. Unique place to stay, not your typical Hotel. Recommended to those who wish to escape the ordinary.

Quaint. We were there in Feb, and common areas were cold. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

I couldn't be happier with this hotel choice. It gave a real feel of old Beijing life in a hutong house (albeit with 21st century amenities). Joseph on the Reception Desk speaks fluent English and was extremely helpful. I used the town car service with careful driver for both pick-up and return to the airport which eliminated the confusion of taxi drivers […] trying to locate the hotel in the dark of early morning. The buffet breakfast was substantial and all staff were kind and friendly. The hutong street has a school situated in it and it was lovely to walk past and hear the children singing. Watch out for the cyclists, pedicabs and other vehicles which travel through the hutong - pedestrian beware! - just as in every other area of Beijing. Avoid peak times on the subway and roads - it's bedlam. I used the subway to travel around and found this cheap, fast, and easy to understand with signage and announcements in both Chinese and English. The Hotel is an easy 20 minute stroll to the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace). If booking an organised group tour eg. Gray Line, list your pick-up and drop-off place as The Regent Hotel which is just around the corner from the hutong and on a main street. I found the local Chinese friendly and very helpful, but be ready for the onslaught of taxi drivers, souvenir sellers at the Exit (North) entrance of the Forbidden City. Very nice and clean hotel (even the court yard gets dusted every day). Staff, although they have limited english knowledge try very hard to please. The room was superb with the most comfortable beds I ever slept in. Interesting mix of guests, international and european. Hotel food is very good, easily chosen via an IPad. I was alone in beijing for 4 days. This small hotel has enough charm but all the basic luxury amenities. I enjoyed my rain shower immensely. Nice soft mattresses and good pillows - i am a snob. Their in room internet (wifi) was the best in china - really super fast. I enjoyed the breakfast with lots of chinese selections of food since alot of chinese […] stay here too. They had 2 guys making omelettes which were good enough to please the westerners. They were good at customer service and when the driver missed me at the airport (came to pick me up), they gave me a free ride back to airport upon leaving. Their english is OK at best. This beautifully appointed hotel is a real find. Decorated in a traditional Chinese style it has a sense of character which isn't found in larger hotels. The airport pick up service was a real bonus as I arrived just before midnight and negotiating a taxi would have been a nightmare. This hotel has a wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Had a nice courtyard, in a quiet neighborhood. Very convenient and provided services for sight-seeing around Beijing.

Nice and quiet! and very unique experience compare to a chain. And location is very central. Can walk to Wangfujing and Forbidden City. Only con for business stay: you also have to walk a few min to the main street to get a taxi, not easy thing when all suit up under the heat.

仕事で２泊しました。　以前にランチに訪れて、雰囲気のあるホテルだったので、楽しみにしていたのですが、５つ星にしてはお粗末なところもありました。 入口のドアの建てつけが悪く毎回ドアの開け締めにひと苦労。　床もギシギシいいます。　水周りは綺麗に改装してあって、不満はありませんでした。　　お部屋がメゾネットなので、水周りとベッドルームの行き来が階段を使わないといけないので、不便と言えば不便かもしれません。 空港の無料送迎はホテルに直接メールをしましたが返事がなく、結局電話で確認しました。　到着ロビーで、運転手さんがお迎えの名前を持って待っていてくれました。無料なのは行きか帰りのどちらか一つでした。 大変なのはタクシー。　外からホテルに帰る時、胡同というとよく乗車拒否されます。　近くの５つ星ホテル […] にはいってくれるので、そこから５-６分歩くのが一番簡単な方法かもしれません。　ホテルからタクシーに乗るときは、フロントで呼んでくれますので、予約が必要です。王府井からは微妙に遠いです。　私は２日とも夜タクシーがつかまらず、寒い中、２０-２５分ぐらいかけて歩いて帰りました。　地下鉄を利用するのであれば、駅は近いので便利です。 朝食は、可もなく不可もなく。　豪華ではありませんが、普通に食べられます。　一日はホテルで食べましたが、２日目はスーパーで買い物をしてお部屋で食べました。 マッサージチケットをくれますが、前日までに予約が必要で、夜になると、夕食後の時間帯は予約で埋まっており使えません。　マッサージを受けたい場合はチェックインしてすぐ予約をお勧めします。 Continua a leggere

酒店的服務很好，交通便利，富有中國特色，床枕都十分舒適，睡得很甜，附送了按摩和一程機場接送，很貼心。唯一是洗手間的門和浴室的玻璃門都有點問題，望能注意一下。早餐十分豐富，味道也一流，感覺到你們的誠意。

年越しで2泊、デラックスルームを利用しました。 このサイトの表記だとバスタブが付いている感じですが、実際はシャワーのみでした。 ホテルからは微妙に王府井まで歩きます。王府井への近さを求めるならヒルトンやノボテルのほうがいいかもしれません。 また、他の故同ホテルと同じくタクシーはあまりホテル前まで来てくれません。大通りまで歩いてから拾うことになりますが、故宮まではタクシー初乗りで行けるけど、歩くのはちょっと面倒という悩ましい距離です。タクシーのドライバー次第で嫌がられるかも。 最初から文句ばかり書きましたが、気になるのはそれくらい。地下鉄の駅も割と近く、部屋も清潔で広々。ホテル自体には全く不満なしでした。 従業員はみんな感じが良く、宿泊時には480元のマッサージ優待券をくれました(都合が合 […] わず使いませんでしたが...。)。部屋にはWi-Fiもあり、朝食もおいしかったです。 最終日には氷点下の気温の中、大通りまでいっしょに来てくれてタクシーを拾ってくれたり、良い気持ちで北京を後にすることが出来ました。ありがとうございました。 Continua a leggere

Estivemos, minha esposa e eu, hopedados neste hotel no período de 13 a 18 de dezembro de 2011. Trata-se de um hotel típico chinês. O atendimento na recepção e em todo o hotel foi muito cordial e atencioso, embora com alguma dificuldade para comunicação em inglês, o que não chegou a prejudicar a estadia. O quarto em ficamos é amplo e confortável, com […] banheiro limpo e em bom estado de conservação. O prédio tem três pavimentos, sem elevador. O café da manhã, em estilo chinês, é bom. O hotel é localizado em área Hutong, ou seja, área chinesa tradicional, caracterizada por ruelas estreitas e muitas vezes sinuosas, o que torna muito díficil a sua localização. Conseguimos o endereço do hotel em chinês no serviço de informações do aeroporto em Beijing, mas, na realidade fomos levados pelo taxi a outro hotel com nome semelhante. Felizmente de lá contataram o nosso hotel que mandoum um carro buscarnos. Outro incoveniente é que as ruelas na proximidade do hotel são muito sujas e causam um impressão inicial desagradável, até que se arende a desviar delas. Este mesmo problema aconteceu com um casal nosso conhecido alguns dias antes. O hotel oferece serviço de translado do aeroporto, porém, este serviço tem que ser requisitado e não conseguimos no site telefone ou e-mail do hotel para fazê-lo. Consideramos o hotel muito bom, bem localizado na região central da cidade, próximo a estação de metrô, porém, alguma coisa precisa ser feita para facilitar a sua localização porque nem o serviço de informação do aeroporto, apesar da boa vontade das atendentes, conseguiu localizá-lo. Really nice and beatiful hotel in peaceful surroundings. But wrong location on the Google map; the actual position is about 300 meter northeast of Dengshikou subway station.

Det här hotellet har ett perfekt läge men ligger på en liten gränd i ett gammalt kinesiskt gårdshus. Stora bekväma rum med svenska sängar, underbar frukost med även lagade rätter, ytterst trevlig personal.

Extremely friendly and helpfull staff, hotell condition good, very good restaurant and breakfast, good beds. Very "chinese" atmosphere. According to my son the free Wlan works OK. Minuses: Sound insulation between rooms could be better and staff does not speak much english allthough they try.

Bien situado, cerca del metro y de una zona comercial. El personal es muy amable y el lugar es encantador. Sin duda, repetiría.

Cet hôtel moderne reprend l'architecture des cours carrées de Beijing avec une cour centrale très agréable avec fontaine , tables et chaises de jardin. Les chambres sont très confortables et donnent sur la cour. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable, certains parlent anglais. Nous avions une chambre standard double avec pick up à l'aéroport […] que nous n'avons pas pu utiliser à l'aller car nous arrivions en train. L'hôtel n'a fait aucun problème pour transformer ce pick up de l'aller en shuttle de retour car nous repartions en avion. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet chinois et occidental tout à fait correct ,sans être pourtant le plus varié de ceux que nous avions eus à Beijing. Il y a une station de métro très pratique à 5 min.
