Hotel was clean and area was very nice. Pools were clean and even played plesant music. Carpet was a little old and some of the furnishings were worn. Only real knock was that laundry was not actually in room, but it was just outside of room so not that bad. Good location really close to target and publix and only 10 minutes to magic kingdom.

We travel to Walt Disney World numerous times a year. We've stayed at mid-range hotel rooms and at the Deluxe Disney properties: Contemporary and the Poylnesian. This year, we wanted a suite/condo so that our kids (ages 1 and 3) had room to play. I read hundreds of reviews and took a chance on this place. I was VERY impressed. It was a beautiful 2/2 […] condo. The master had a king, the guest room had 2 twins and the living room had a queen sofa bed. The living area had plenty of space for the kids to play. The dining table sat 6. The kitchen was nice - granite countertops and well stocked cabinets. The bathrooms were huge and very clean. Granite counters in the bathrooms too. Plus, Crabtree and Evelyn soaps. The surrounding area was very quite. Parking was very easy and well lit and there is a security guard. After a long day at Disney, it took us only 15 minutes from the Magic Kingdom parking lot to have our kids in their beds. Speaking of beds, they were very comfortable and clean. We didn't stay long enough to visit the pools but they looked nice and there weren't many people at them. There are only a couple MINOR downsides: 1. No elevators. 2. Checkout Time is 10 am. 3. Cribs and highchairs are available for a fee 4. It is a time share so maid service doesn't come daily. So, overall, this was a FANTASTIC stay and HIGHLY recommended. Continua a leggere

This resort was recommended by friends and we weren't disappointed. It was better than we had hoped.

Stayed here at the start of February. Was pleasantly surprised how nice the place was. the complex was well maintained and looked great . The room much bigger than expected and very comfortable. It had a well stocked kitchen which was appreciated. The amenities were great like the free wireless internet , nice pool and jacuzzi which were open till 12 […] am, great for a late swim or soak! overall a great place to stay and would recommend to anyone and would go back in a heartbeat. Booked after reading reviews here and trip advisor. Went as a couple, may return with the kids. Multi-level rooms, would recommend top floor if available. Just a few minutes from international drive (best way north/south). Large units, plenty of room for multiple people. Decorated nice, outside grounds clean and nice. Kitchen in unit could use some updating to match the rest of the unit. Nice to be able to have the kitchen so you dont spend so much money eating out. Reasonable distance to all parks, all in all a good place to stay.

My 3 adult children and myself stayed at this hotel and we were very pleased! The hotel was very clean, the pool was nice and having the full kitchen was great. I would tell anyone looking for a place to stay to go the this hotel, you won't be sorry! Thank you to Hotels.com, we will book with you again!

We stayed here March 5-7, 2012. We booked a 2 bedroom suite for 4 adults and 2 young children. The suite was roomy, clean, and well-equipped. We would not hesitate to come back. We were very pleased with this resort right from the start - the Guard at the front gate was very friendly and helpful. The Rooms were large, beautiful, very clean and made you feel at home. The atmosphere all around was wonderful. I will recommend this place to every I know and will be staying there again in the future. This was our 2nd stay at this resort. It's not a very large resort but it's clean, quite and close to stores (Walmart, Target, Publix and Sam's Club) and restaurants (Olive Garden, UNO's, Chiles and more). There are 2 and 3 story buildings, neither has elevators. There are NO elevators. The staff and management are extremely helpful. The location is secure and both business-friendly and family-friendly with lots of pools and activities ; yet quiet . the rooms are spacious, very well decorated and a jacuzzi tub in the master suite. We arrived on Friday. Very easy check in process. Gated and guarded entrance, good stuff. The room was very clean but very 1980’s. They have very old televisions and pineapple carpet and furnishings. When I opened the drawer for the silverware in the kitchen, the drawer fell right down inside the cabinet. The rest of our stay was very comfortable and […] uneventful. Other than a few small issues I mentioned this place was great and I will stay there again. Check out is at 10am sharp. Very Sharp. At 10:01am we received a call from the front desk telling us that we would have to pay an additional day if we were not out in 15 minutes. That blew my mind. That was a first for me. I totally liked this condo rental however be aware that the shuttle service is NOT FREE to go to the themed parks. No restaurant available on site however very short walking distance from the property. The resort is so clean and well maintained...beautiful surrounding. From the moment we arrived we knew it was going to be fabulous. Beautiful surroundings. Our room was as comfortable as being at home. We had the best stay here. It was so perfet for our vacation at Christmas time with our family. No complaints what so ever. And it's only a 15 minute drive to Walt Disney World Resort. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel. It's also located in a neightborhood right off the main streets. Very nice. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Our unit was very clean and well kept. The area was very quiet and location was convenient to everything. Would definately stay again.

I was very satisfied with the hotel very clean. The only thing I would like to see fixed is the hot water is would run out while one is taking a shower but I think it might have been our building only, our friends that stayed in a different building didn't have this problem.

Pro: We enjoyed our stay at this resort. Its like our home away from home. Great location, 2 mins drive to Walmart Supercentre where you can pick up all your grocery needs etc. Within 15 mins drive to Disneyworld and I-4 freeway. Close LBV outlet. Early check in was accommodated. Friendly staff. Loved the security checking every vehicle entry/exit, […] feel safe. Well maintained landscaping and clean facility. Cons: the room, equipments and facilities definitely needs updating. Shows its age! We were there 2nd week of Dec. The pool heating is very low and should of been more heated to truly enjoy it during cold times. The check out time is 10am although we left earlier but too early atleast 11am would be comfortable. Sofa bed needs new mattress, it feels all spring very uncomfortable. Overall, it is a good stay. It will be perfect once the resort undergone some nice renovations. This is like a service apartment, only serice once a week from reading at the Borchures. We stayed 5 days, no service. The apartment is beautiful, very large, with kitchen, cooking facilities, laundry in room, everyhing you need is there. You need a car to travel around. Will recommend and come back to this hotel.

Our whole family loved this place! We were two adults and one nine year old. Our huge two bedroom apartment were wonderful. We stayed in one of the two floor units, there are two and three floor units. Beds were clean and comfy, sofa and armchair likewise. Table were set really nice when we arrived. Kitchen were really great with everything you could […] need. Lots of pots and pans, I did not miss a thing! Bathrooms were great, shower terrific! We had a very nice porch with a table and four chairs and two sunbeds, all screened in. Wireless internet worked excellent. Everything are kept really good and it is a clean resort full of nice guests and employees. People who stay here tend to keep after their children, there were never any annoying kids in the pool. It is quiet, I only heard the people above us move around a couple of times, I never heard them talk or their TV. I only had one complaint, they need to buy a machine to clean the carpeting, there were a few small and big stains... The resort is located really good, between Disney World (10-15 minutes) and International Drive (10-15 minutes). If you stay in Kissimmee (to save a few bucks instead of staying on International Drive, you also get a two bedroom apartment instead of just a hotel room for the same price) this is just great. You have a huge Walmart nearby, Target a few minutes away (by car) and lots of restaurants and gift shops and outlets really close. It is possible to walk about in the neighborhood. We arrived very late and the gate keeper helped us really fast with check in. Gate security were also very good and friendly. I think this is a timeshare resort but we were never asked to attend any sales tour/talk. Very nice! If I am interested I will ask, I do not like if they call and ask several times, so a big plus to their employees. Two pools and several hot tubes were very clean and warm, never crowded. Nice place, although not new. A bit of wear and tear, but clean and well kept overall. Good location, nice area. Spatious rooms and bathrooms. Nice pool area. As someone else wrote, look out for the guys who want to "come to a free breakfast, and give you a large discount on theme park tickets". This is a fasntastic resort. Very friendly, quiet and extremely clean. The two bedroom apartment is massive and fully equiped. The 24 hour manned security gate made us feel at ease and the staff were very helpful. The location couldn't be beter, 10 mins to Disney - 20 mins to Seaworld - Old towm Kissimmee just 3 minutes. Walmart is two minutes. We have […] stayed in Orlando before, often spending more money on accommodation, but this resort is by far the best and would recommend it to anyone who wishes to be close to everything Disney but who also wants a quiet retreat to re-charge. Just stayed at this property in October and loved it! We were in Orlando for a convention and stayed at another hotel for 3 days and then checked into the Polynesian Isles for 5 days. Fully updated and so nice...huge living room and space overall. We liked it much better than our 5 star resort, simply because it was much bigger than our other room and […] a better price. We reserved the 2 bed, 2 bath and had more than enough space. Granite countertops in kitchen and bathrooms, nice new furniture and screened patio. Pool and hot tub was not huge or full of bells and whistles but each set of units have their own pool and hot tub so it was never crowded. The property is away from busy streets and highways so its quiet and relaxing! However, there are many great places to eat close by, parks are extremely close and easy to get to. Plus a Walmart is right down the road. The desk gave us a sheet of easy directions to all the attractions and beaches which were helpful if you don't have GPS. I have nothing bad to say..suggestion may be to update the main lobby which isn't bad but does not represent the upgraded units. Staff is very friendly helpful. Can't say enough good things about our stay at this site. The rooms, service, facilities were all excellent and we wouldn't hestiatae to return or recommend. Very convenient location as well in terms of Disney, Univ Studios and tons of shopping. Our suite was recently redone and everything was clean, comfortable, and updated. This is the second time we have stayed here. The first time we were thrilled with our suite, but this time it was even better. The grounds are attractive and it is a quiet place to stay and relax. You feel at home, but it is better than being home.

Nice two bedroom suite with plenty of suitable amenities on site. Used both bedrooms, equipped kitchen and sleeper sofa during our 7 night early July stay as we spent most of our time in nearby WDW. The rooms are a bit dated but more than satisfactory. Check in was fine as was check out. We used the laundry once, but our room key wouldn't open the one […] outside our room, so we trudged down a flight to one we could access. We were gone so much we by-passed the ongoing attempts to get us to listen to their time share sales pitch. Just be prepared to see signs about being charged $40 for a missing pool towel or $20 for any misplaced room towel, etc. if short upon checkout from your room. Don't lose anything, and 99% of folks should have no problem with this. We WOULD stay here again as it provided the best "bang for the buck" within 5 miles of WDW. I happened upon a hotels.com weekend spring special that saved us about a third for our July stay, so no complaints with pricing. Continua a leggere

This hotel was in a great location for Disney World and to all of the main highways. Very different having the hotel surrounded by a residential area. Good open space and a great stocked kitchen. Excellent resort. Quiet but within easy reach of all the Theme Parks. One drawback was presence of a pair of ducks in the area surrounding the smaller swimming pool located behind reception area. Whilst there we were subjected to them joining us in the swimming pool where, as ducks do, they proceeded to soil the waters with their droppings clearly drifting […] to the bottom the shallow end of the pool. This was pointed out immediately to reception who certainly did NOT take any instant action as we remained sunbathing (but not using pool) for at least a further hour. The condos at Polynesian Isles were great. It was spacious and had everything we needed. They are only about 15 minutes from all the Disney parks. The pools and spas are great. They have games and sports equipment to check out which is great since it is difficult to pack those kinds of items. They have on site activities for adults and kids at little […] to no additional cost. Items such as toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen lines were all included. Good location, close to everything. Disney at 15 min, Wal-Mart at 5 min. Close to restaurants, Starbucks, Outlets, etc. Spacious rooms for big families, some rooms are remodeled (not all). Check in time is at 4:00 PM. WE arrived about 1:00 PM for A NINETEEN Night Stay. They Said They Wouldn't or couldn't let us in early because no rooms were ready. Check out time is 10:00 AM . They said they would take down my cell phone number and call me when they got a room ready for us, then the suggested we talk to the Time share person whom I'm […] sure had influence on our room being ready because we were tired and my fiance' had just gottten off a red eye and wanted to talk over going though a presentation or not. They suggested we go get something to eat at one of the local restaurants, which we did leaving us still a couple of hours until 4:00- Check-in. still no phone call. so we went to the grocery store and bought food for the place and arrived back at the polynesian isle a little after 4:00PM. I thanked the desk person for the courtesy call and he said he forgot about us. anyway we just want the key and a shower and a knapp. so we drive around to the back of property insert the room key and some other family is staying in our room. Back to the office where the desk clerk looks us up on the computer where I can see us fully blacked out for the NINETEEN days and I ask her how this could have happened. How many people book a NINETEEN night stay at their facility? She Said Somebody must have made a mistake, and she wouldn't even look me in the eye. So they get a Different room ready becouse all my goceries are in the back seat melting. We get to the new room and everything is O.K., except there is no safe key. So I walk back to the office to get the safe key. Of course it's the wrong safe key, so I have to walk back to the office to get the right safe key. Then I find out that I'm Talking to the Manager. I told him off on how they wanted me to go to a Time share presentation for one week out of the year and get me to buy into it, when I was Staying at his Place here And they coudn't even be professional enough to handle us for a NINETEEN Day stay. I have just returned from an excellent stay at the Polynesian Isles Vacation Villas in Kissimmee. The accommodation was excellent, well maintained and just like home. The bed in the master bedroom was massive and the two bedroom apartment could easily accommodate six people. It is in a great central position to easily travel to all of the major theme […] parks and is two minutes away from a WalMart Supercentre. The staff were friendly especially the security staff on the front gate. I have stayed in accommodation in the Orlando area before and the lack of security on the front gate has been an issue but there was always at least one person on duty at all times at the Polynesian Isles. It looks like a wooden construction because the sound barrier between the ceiling \ floor was low to the impact. We had a family over our head and it looks like that KING kong was there very late every night. Kids were jumping on the floor over our bedroom from 11:30pm to 12:30am almost every night....

We choose the Polynesian this year instead of regular hotel room because we wanted a suite with a Kitchen and where my family of six would be comfortable. We were not in walking distance of anything but everything was about a 10 minute or less drive away. We felt quite at home there. There was a lot to do at the villa. There are pools, tennis courts, […] playground, basketball court and walking trails. One problem was you basically have to bring everything with you (towels, basketball, dish liquid, etc.) but there is a Wal-Mart close by. Continua a leggere
