Clean rooms, great services, cheap food and massage, strong access to internet (although the rooms having wifi would be a place, but ethernet cables in all rooms does suffice). Beautiful pool and great gym/spa.

The Intercontinental Hotel (Addis) has the finest, friendliest most helpful staff I have come across in many, many years. What a pleasant change.

I was there more than a week, i feel comfort during my saty. All the staffs are too friendly. The gym and swimming pool also nice. I will recommend my friends for future stays.

This hotel is older, rooms are quiet nice but bathroom is old and not updated. The hotel is good for a one night stay and will give enough rest. To bad there is only one restaurant and night live music is to hear into the rooms, so no rest between 18-21h

all good except the twin beds are too small for the average american.

The staff members were kind and courteous, along with the security measures taken to ensure that all guest and visitors were safe and kept welcomed in a relaxed atmosphere during their stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Addis, Ethiopia were great!

its good hotel but small one in compare with sheraton and hilton but all facility is available .

Excellent hotel in Addis Abbaba. Not as opulent as the Sheraton or Hilton, but much cheaper. Outstanding service, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool is a nice luxury, great place to snack and drink during the evenings. Only complaints: Bed was a little too firm. Internet in rooms is wired not wi-fi. The Intercontinental Addis Ababa Hotel is located perfectly. Only ten minutes away from the international airport and in the middle of the city. Close to the Palace and restaurants. Staff at the hotel was very friendly and cooperative. They were always willing to chat and seem to like their jobs a lot. The comfort at the hotel is super. I am still staying in the hotel at the moment; i have two reservations at the same time which will be to the 13th of November. 1-the hotel has a policy that you cannot bring alcohol into the hotel and this policy is hidden within their top secret documents’ ,i bought 6 beers from out of the hotel when i entered the hotel i had a big problem with the […] security and then they call the duty manager to investigate my case, i have been staying most of my life in hotels around the world but never heard about such a case, i asked the duty manager to hand over a list of what is allowed and not allowed. 2-every day you will be woken up by the cocking smell into your room at least twice in morning and evening. Clean hotel. Located walking distance to UNCC. If you are a light sleeper, be sure to request a corner room. All other rooms are located around the immediate perimeter of the hotel lobby and sound travels up all nine floors quite readily. Piano playing in lobby is loud and goes till 9 pm.

The stay was for 6 days. The hotel was as expected for a world class facilty but the best part of my stay was the staff because they made you feel welcomed and that they enjoyed making your stay the best possible.

Average apperance with mediocre finish. Terrible location being that there are too many construction sites surrounding the hotel and delapitated homes. May be a good place to stay within a couple of years when the contruction is done.

The lobby gives a wonderful impression and the rooms are comfortable and clean, internet in the room and WiFi at the lobby. Quite rare in Addis. However, it's a real pity the hotel amenities like the restaurant are so poorly served and choices are limited!

I arrived at the hotel to find the surroundings less than desireable and everything around us was under construction. But keep in mind where you are. I rate the Hotel as a 3.5 The staff went the extra mile to make sure that all my needs were met. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory but once again the staff asked me what I wanted and they delivered. […] Being from the states the bartender was not very well versed on American drinks but was willing to learn. Probably the best hotel in Addis. The Hilton (which is in the same general area) is quite dated and run down but the Sheraton is new with western style comforts. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist ein Highlight. Temperatur wie in einer Badewanne. Kinder wollen nicht mehr raus. :-) , das Servicepersonal ist super freundlich.

Öffentlicher Raum sehr großzügig, Zimmer etwas klein. Bad, Sauna, Gym sehr groß und gepflegt. Essen im Hotel gut und preiswert.

Dit hotel overtreft alles. De service, zwembad, ontbijt, er ontbreekt je aan niets. Iedereen aan te reden. Goede en diverse restaurants in het hotel.
