Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013La posizione è stupenda in quanto si trova direttamente di fronte a Central Park. La nostra camera era veramente spaziosa. Per la colazione è meglio premurarsi che sia già pagata o meno altrimenti viene addebitata sulla camera e poi bisogna spiegare che era già pagata. Attenzione al frigo bar, ogni tanto caricano sul conto consumazioni non fatte. Nel nostro caso, dopo una breve spiegazione, hanno provveduto immediatamente a cancellarla dal conto finale e senza fare troppe storie. Il personale è stato gentile a parte qualche cameriere un po scorbutico durante la colazione ma con il quale abbiamo subito chiarito, parlando noi un buon inglese.

"Ottima base per mordere la Grande Mela!"
Hotel ubicato in ottima posizione. Dalla stanza al 16mo piano affacciate sul retro non si avvertono i rumori della strada, anche se é percepibile il brusio dei condizionatori su tetti dei palazzi adiacenti. "Buon hotel in una posizione eccezionale"
E' la seconda volta che soggiorniamo in questo hotel. La camera ed il bagno erano di dimensioni normali e puliti con gran cura; il letto, di dimensioni un po' più piccole del normale matrimoniale, era comunque comodissimo (unico neo della stanza, l'armadio poco capiente che ci ha obbligato a lasciare gran parte dei vestiti nelle valigie); se siete "sfortunati" […] e vi assegnano una camera che si affaccia sul retro, vi troverete chiusi fra gli altri palazzi, ma non è questo l'importante. Il personale è, per la maggior parte, molto gentile, premuroso e disponibile (tranne per qualcuna che ha fatto finta di non conoscere l'italiano). Il collegamento ad internet WiFi è gratuito solamente nella terrazza ed a pagamento in tutto il resto dell'hotel. Il business center è stata una delusione rispetto al resto dell'hotel (quattro computer e una stampante in una piccola stanza spoglia cui mancavano le finiture). "Hotel senza dubbio da consigliare"
Mi sento di consigliarlo in quanto logisticamente a pochi passi da Rockefeller Center e Time square. Le stanze sono molto confortevoli, bagno ampio e doccia delimitata da vetrate. Pulizia Ottima. Nel caso doveste soggiornare in 3 persone suggerisco di chiedere il letto aggiuntivo anche se a mio parere 35 $ a notte non sono pochi. Personale della reception […] cortese. "Location perfetta ma poco spazio"
La stanza standard è piccolissima: il letto è un mini-queen e l'armadio è microscopico. I bagni sono invece piuttosto ampi e funzionali (la doccia è super!). La stanza deluxe è ragionevolmente più ampia con un letto tra il queen e il king. Sorprendentemente però l'armadio è lo stesso piccolissimo della stanza standard. la scorsa settimana ero al cassa hotel. è situato in posizione strategica a 2 minuti da times square, dal rockefeller center e dalla fifth avenue. è ancora in fase di costruzione ma dall'esterno non si nota nulla, è perfetto. ha una terrazza al 10 piano con bar e la nostra camera era sempre pulitissima. lo consiglio a tutti quelli che cercano un bel […] posto dove alloggiare e che sia in pieno centro di manhattan. noi siamo state pienamente soddisfatte!! "Close to everything, nice hotel"
So I really enjoyed this hotel. It's really pretty and well-maintained, and the bathroom was really, really nice. The walk-in shower was HUGE with this great showerhead. Also, the hair dryer had a diffuser on it (bonus!!) and the soap smelled great. I think all hotel rooms in midtown are small, so that's not really a complaint against Cassa. Also we […] were stuck on the 11th floor. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast. They don't tell you that you can't choose any from the list. It's limited to a few items. Though the size of the hotel and the room was much smaller than it appeared to be in the pictures, it was certainly sufficient for our needs. The staff was so friendly and helpful. "Couldn't be happier with my choice"
The location was perfect for our trip. We were within a short walking distance of Broadway, Time Square, and many other attractions and shops. The staff couldn't have been more inviting and pleasant. "Nice, but why 4 stars?"
The location is great, and we had a great rate compared to other hotels around Times Square which made the hotel acceptable. The front desk people were very friendly like all employees . The rooms are from floor 11 upwards to 42nd floor and Penthouse, the lounge is on the 10th floor with free wifi. In the room it is apparently very expensive (see other […] posts). Inconvenient that we had to go to 10th floor for internet. The room was relatively small for 2 and had a comfortable double bed. In the rooms is hardly any information about the hotel,There was no coffee maker in the room. When I asked about it, they brought one, but only decaf coffee, and no cups. I asked again, but they could not find regular coffee, so they brought a Kreuger but still no cups. There are cafe's to the left and right of the hotel within a block for good and reasonably priced breakfast. Across from the hotel is "Jack's World" shop with some food and drinks at great prices to take back to the room to avoid the super high prices of the room bar. A pharmacy market is around the corner on 6th avenue. The telephone prices are from the 20th century, $1 per minute even for local and toll free calls, $1.50 for other calls and $10 for international calls per minute plus a service fee! They obviously take advantage of international guests who don't have a US cellphone sim card. So just calling home for 5 minutes to say you arrived safely will cost you more than $50!! "Good but not great!"
It was difficult to find the hotel at first. No big signs out front and it is set back, however, the location is fantastic. We always stay in this area and unless the rate was much lower than some of the other hotels in , I don't think I would go back. Room very small which is what I expect in NYC, but the other hotels seem to use the space more efficently. […] No shelves in the shower area..you have to put soap, shampoo etc. on the floor. Had a fantastic stay at Cassa. They really personalised our stay. The rooms were plenty big enough for a city break and the beds were extremely comfy!! "Great location"
Pleasant staff, all that we encountered. The restaurant, Terrace, has some breakfast entrees with some slightly different twists but all that we tried were great. Location is one of its best features....especially for theater goers. It is close to the theaters yet the neighborhood is much more quite. Some good restaurants nearby. "Excellent Boutique Hotel"
We realy enjoyed our stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful and our room was cozy and close to everything. Spent five nights over New Year, excellent situation for New Year festivities and getting around New York. Fantastic hotel, Resturant and services very basic but for the money and comfort of rooms we thought it was great. We only had a double bed which was a bad idea in end as very small when we had come from a king but you get what you pay for. Also storage in room not great but rooms were a good size. Great location, just 5 minute walk from Times Square. 3 good pubs on the same street within 100 metres which was nice!! Good location, the rooms are quite small and only have 2 lamps in the main room rather than a ceiling light so were very dark when getting ready or reading etc... My other issue was the bedding - it was just a sheet over an uncovered duvet but during the night the sheet would come off leaving you with the uncovered duvet that 1000s of people will have […] slept under unwashed! :( I have tried better hotels in NY (Sofitel being one) so would not rush back, also rooms could be noisy dueto lifts. "Close to all must-see sights"

Nice hotel. Small and contemporary with construction going on foe their pending ground level BLT Brasserie restaurant . Staff if friendly and professional. Bathroom amenities and products are of fine quality. I got a decent rate, but possibly because of the construction. "Core of the Big Apple"
When we arrived at the hotel we were so pleased that everything was as had been previously described. We had just got out of a scam taxi cab which was followed by a roadside argument after he tried to charge us $170!!! On entering the hotel there was signs of construction work in progress which made us think that we were going to be in for a bit of […] a weekend. How wrong we were, the customer service at reception, by the cleaning staff and the restaurant staff was second to none. Whilst the bed wasn't the largest it was still plenty big enough and I am 6'3" and over 16 stone. It was super comfortable and was probably one of the better points of a pretty disappointing visit to the Big Apple. The higher floors are really quiet and relaxing and without going up to the top floors I bet they have spectacular views of the city. The hotel is central to all the major sights and they are really helpful when you require any transportation to Downtown etc. Whilst we will not be returning to New York again it is definitely not because of this little Jewel.
