The Mantra Crown Towers is outdated and needs refurbishing desperately. The rooms are spacious but feel dirty simply because the facilities are old and in need of updating. Faded curtains and colored tiles with dirty grout in the bathrooms are seriously stuck in the 90's. We stayed at the Mantra Crown Towers for 5 nights with our 2YO. We found it very family friendly, the reception staff were just lovely helping us with a number of enquiries and also giving our daughter a free little colouring pack. There is a great children's pool and playground and the resort itself was very exciting for our daughter to look at (the […] stars on the roof and the water features etc). Our room was lovely with everything we needed and it is in a great location, walking distance to everything. The only problems that we had were that there was no wireless internet access, though reception did say that they were having that put in soon. Also the Thai restaurant in the resort complex (Chang Mai?) was not really family friendly in my opinion. The food was amazing however they were not willing to make a small bowl of anything for our daughter even when we were happy to pay for the service and trouble (we only asked for some plain noodles, without the chilli). I know that the restaurant is not owned by the resort however it is inside a family resort and therefore I would have expected them to cater for families that are staying there however they made it quite clear that they would not waiver from their set menu. They claimed the chefs were far too busy to cater to the needs of paying guests. My husband was not very impressed with their attitude more than anything. Overall though it was a very pleasant stay and we would recommend to friends without hesitation. Continua a leggere

Overall location was ok..waited over an hour to check in from 2pm....limited time so not impressed. twice went down at night to grab a take out coffee, ladies were there but said they were not making coffees...why have the cafe open if not serving hot drinks? Have been in mantra in Gold Coast for the first time and it was a lovely hotel with nice view especially the lagoon swimming pool was fantastic staff was very helpful and I must say its a place to book in future as well. Chiangmai Thai restaurant was very good food excellent.

The apartments are privatly owned and as such, they varied in decor and age. We moved after the first night into a more modern fitout. Apart from that, great location and good facilities, although the main pool was cold but it was the first month of spring. We also watched whales from the balcony.

The room was a great size and in a great location, but the price was much too expensive for a room with an uncomfortable bed, bad shower, crap tv, and overall displeasing colour scheme. Spend your money on a room closer to Cavell Ave and you will be much more comfortable.

Upon our arrival to the hotel, staff were rude and unaccommodating. We wanted to change to a bigger room and were told 'no, there is nothing avaliable' without even checking on the computers. We then took it upon ourselves to check online and there were plenty of rooms available. Once we got to our room it was a mess; crumbs on the floor, mould on the […] curtains, stains on the bed linen, finger prints on the glasses and coffee stains in the mugs. not to mention the smell of sewage in the bathroom and the stale smell of the room overall. The hotel staff dismissed our complaint and sent a cleaner up to vacuum as compensation - how pathetic. Our stay was extremely disappointing and the hotel staff (especially their male supervisor) were rude and unwilling to help. I don't know how this is a 4.5 star hotel - there's nothing 4.5 star about it. Continua a leggere

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach and surfers. The rooms are very spacious, bath and kitchen were great too. They could do with upgrading some of the equipment - like replacing the cd player with an ipod dock. Would stay again.

Hotel was clean and convenient. Colour scheme wasn't our taste. Atrium not good for people with vertigo. Pool bar not open the whole stay. Pool was exceptionally clean. Gym was good. Positives and negatives. Overall, an ok stay.

This hotel is in close proximity to central Surfers, a block away from the beach, 5 minutes to Seaworld and 15 mins to Movieworld. It has a great outdoor and indoor heated pool, kids pool and gym. I was surprised to find a sauna and steam room too. Our room carpet was a bit stained but other than that the condition of the hotel and room was to notch. […] It's got a resort feel about it as it is quite a large complex with a couple of independent restaurants within. Our room was an apartment suite so we were able to cook, was our clothes and dry them without having to find a laundry or pay for a washing service. Strange to note the hotel management makes a comment on the good reviews, and ignores the bad ones. This is the feeling we got during our stay...our complaints were met with disinterest. I’m not sure how this hotel got a 4.5 star rating, because I have stayed in 3 star hotels that were much nicer than this one. There was one roll of toilet paper; only […] enough coffee, tea, sugar and milk for 2 days (we were staying 5 days), and we were told if we wanted more we would be charged (yes, charged for toilet paper and coffee in a 4.5 star hotel!) There was only one towel per person (flat and dingy...not white and fluffy), one hand towel and NO face washers. There was no room service or housekeeping service. Even though there was a notice in the room you could request it, we were told it was not available! The decor was quite dated with an old and uncomfortable 2-seater sofa, but room was functional and spacious. TV in lounge room did not work. The room was clean; however, there was some mold in the shower, and cigarette butts were thrown onto our balcony from a room above. Although the hotel was far from fully occupied, our room overlooked the noisy amusement rides across the street, instead of the beautiful scenery advertised. The lobby was in dire need of decoration, but the pool and outdoor landscaping was beautiful! The Thai restaurant downstairs was fabulous! Unfortunately, I would not stay here again. Yes we would stay there again. The room was very comfortable and the facilities are very nice. However, the spa should have been hotter, it was just warm. For a 4.5 star hotel, I would expect more than 1 roll of toilet paper for a 4 day stay! There was one roll in the room and we were told if we wanted more we would be charged (yes, charged for toilet paper in a 4.5 star hotel!). The level of cleanliness was ok except for: some mould in the shower, cigarette ash on the balcony and lots of dust around […] the air conditioning vents. The decor was quite dated, but room was functional and spacious. TV in lounge room did not work. Thai restaurant downstairs was wonderful! Cafe inside foyer was extremely expensive. Great size apartments with all inclusions required if you were staying for a week - kitchen with cooking utensils, washing machine, dryer etc. I had read in previous reviews that the decor was a little dated (which i would agree with) but don't let this put you off as it is not that bad. Its just not the slick modern look that you see these days. Approx […] a 5min walk to the centre of Surfers - eg Cavill avenue and even closer to the beach. Would happily go back and stay again. Crown Towers has a great location and facilities, even if the overall "theme" is fairly dated. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen amenities were well stocked. Pool areas were beautiful. 리조트내 작은 워터 슬라이드는 유아들에게 인기 만점이네요...덕분에 저희 딸은 3일 머무는 동안 새까맣게 탔어요..ㅎㅎ 실내 따뜻한 수영장과 스파도 마음에 들구요...무엇보다 객실은 넓은 공간이 마음에 들어요..가구나 소파가 최신식은 아니었지만,,,깨끗하게 정리되어 있네요.저희 식구는 2 bedroom 객실에 묵었는데, 마스터룸에 연결된 드레스룸이 따로 있어 좋았구요...침실과 연결된 야외 넓은 테라스에서 식사(저희가 숙소 키친에서 준비해서요^^) 를 할 수 있어 좋았답니다. 다음 골드코스트행에 또 묵고 싶은 숙네요...^^

インターネットが部屋で利用できると書かれていたが、ホテルが管理するものはロビーにある時間貸しのパソコンだけだった。フロントが夜間閉まるのも何となく不安に感じられた。クレジットカードでデポジットを取られてチェックアウトの時点では返却されずに後で部屋の確認をしてから返却されると言われたこと(実際にはチャージされなかったが)も、あまり良い気分ではなかった。
