Metropolis Roma

Location was great. 1 block from Metro train station. Walking distance to all sites in Rome. Rooms were tiny though . There were 2 of us and it was tight. Just enough room to walk around the bed. Lived out of the suitcase as there was not enough space to put cloths away. They did have a fantastic breakfast every morning.

The hotel was clean and modern. The staff was very nice. Here are some issues I had: Air conditioner did not work and I could not open the window because I was on the 1st floor and there was no screen. It was really hot and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. The safe and TV remote did not work. They gave me batteries for the safe, i went back to the […] front desk and told the guy who gave me the batteries that the safe still does not work. He said they were all disconnected and we are waiting for new safes. I guess he did't know that when he gave me the batteries. When I asked about the AC, they said It's not the season. I went back to the room about 4 PM and the door was open and no house keeping in the area. My valuables and passport could have been taken! Continua a leggere

The suite was very good value for money. the whirlpool in the living room was just great. the complete hotel is new and pretty stylish. breakfast was good, not too exiting, but good. staff speaks english (not to be expected in italy). location is good as it is 5min walk from the metro and 1min from bus/tram, in the area directly around the hotel there's […] not much to do. We enjoyed our time. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and pleasant. Within walking distance from Vatican, and 2-3 tube stations away from the ancient Rome and city centre shopping areas. We really enjoyed our time there.

Nice standard as the hotel was quite newly refurnished, but dissappointed that the room did not have any windows (!!) other than straight up in the sky. A room like that with no other escape options than the corridor would never have been allowed in Norway). Staff was friendly except one of the ladies in the reception who always seemed to be annoyed […] by the enquiries we had (being either just explanations of local bus routes or for instance just an explanation of the hotel bill details). Still, the rest of the staff were very friendly and the breakfast held what I assume is a reasonably good standard for Italy of being. Continua a leggere

compared to other hotels in europe, this one is amazing. Room size good, bed comfortable, very modern hotel on par with the W hotel chain. By far on of the best hotels we stayed in while touring Italy. Concierge not to familiar with surroundings or english speaking tv and not to concerned if they give you correct information. all in all, a great room […] for the $, very comfortable & excellent included breakfast. The room (suite) got hot, and the bed was stiff. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was decent but over priced. Room service charged me $30 USD for some uncooked ham and chunks of cheese, I found that to be the biggest rip off of my trip.

A modern hotel a ten minute walk to St Peters or two metro stops to Spanish steps. We found all the staff to be very helpful and polite. They even arranged a MPV Taxis to pick us up at the airport arranged via e-mail.

Very clean and accomodating. Included a decent breakfast. Lack of good restaurants close to hotel - had to walk or take bus (not too difficult) across river. Good location with respect to Vatican. 4th floor rooms have skylights and no windows overlooking street - very quite.

Although the rooms are nice, modern and comfortable, a few of the front staff workers were extremely unhelpful, unfriendly and rude. The hotel is nice but the service is less to be desired

Stayed two nights. Very nice hotel. Complimentary breakfast buffet was good and staff is pleasant. Capuccinos on request. Room was clean, bed comfortable and bathroom well appointed (included bidet and mini bar). Hot shower was very welcome after long hot day viewing the Colisseum and other sights. Good points: Hotel was clean tidy & comfortable. Staff were friendly & helpful & spoke good English. Few mins walk to Lepanto Metro station. 10-15 min walk to Vatican. Reasonably priced mini bar in room, which was well stocked. Complimentary toiletries. All you can eat buffet breakfast was well stocked with various items (tho some a little odd, for […] example cooked veg!) Varied places to eat within walking distance, tho would recommend taking Metro to Spagna for evening meals as there was lot more choice & at more reasonable prices. There are a bar & restaurant in hotel, although we can't comment on them as didn't use them. Bad points: Air con didn't seem to work but we didn't mention as just opened skylight. Was disappointed the only window was a skylight which was to high up to see out of, this was shame as we were on top floor & would have enjoyed seeing the view. Overall would recommend the hotel & would be happy to stay there again. Continua a leggere

Bestemt ikke imponeret af dette hotel. Svarer ikke til 4 stjerner. Personalet i receptionen ikke særlig imødekommende og specielt en af damerne var direkte flabet. Værelset lille og badeværelset lugtede muggent. Det kostede 15 euro pr. døgn at parkere. Det bedste ved hotellet var restauranten og personalet der.

バチカンへ行く時にすぐそばのトラム乗り場から２駅、歩いても１５分くらいの立地。 夜は繁華街から離れているのでとても静か。 部屋は狭いですが、新しいホテルなのでとても清潔。

Vi reste 6 dagar med vår 10 månaders dotter och sökte efter att hotell i lugna trygga kvarter inte allt för långt bort från centrala Rom och hittade helt rätt. Enda minus att de saknar barnstol vid frukosten samt att den transer vi beställde till och från flygplatsen saknade barnstol trots att vi beställde detta och fick det bekräftat. Ligger en kort […] promenad från Vatikanen och strax intill både spårvagn och tunnelbana. Tyvärr hade de problem med mygg när vi var där och vår dotter fick massor av bett inne på vårt rum?! De kunde inte hjälpa oss med myggnät eller sprej - så ta med myggnät och myggmedel om ni åker under sommarhalvåret Continua a leggere

Best tevreden over het hotel. Het ontbijt was naar onze mening goed, maar anderen zullen het wellicht iets te karig vinden. Dit blijft subjectief. De regendouche deed het bij ons niet goed, melding van gemaakt, maar daar werd niets mee gedaan. Het personeel is dus niet heel behulpzaam. Gelukkig was de gewone douche erg goed en voldeed die prima. Jammer […] dat de service wat dus kil was. Verder is dit hotel prima aan te raden voor een korte citytrip. Standaardkamers zijn klein, maar schoon en luxe. Wij zaten aan de straatkant, maar hadden geen last van lawaai, dit is tevens subjectief. Kortom aan te raden, maar niet volledig zonder minpuntjes. Personnel très accueillant et souriant. Hôtel confortable et très propre. Tout neuf. Chambre belle. Design plutôt simple mais suffisant. Un tout petit peu excentré mais en 30min, on est au centre à pied, et à 15min du Vatican. Petit déjeuner très bon, en quantité suffisante, et beaucoup de choix sucré/salé. Seul point négatif : on entend un peu le bruit […] du couloir, mais rien de bien dérangeant. Par contre, on n'entend aucun bruit d'une chambre à l'autre. Continua a leggere
