Hotel was nice and clean, small rooms but with everything you will need. The staff was helpful. However, the walls must be paper thin, because even the slightest sound from the neighboring rooms, from the elevator or from the corridor came through. Extremely noisy till past midnight.

Very discrete and nice hotel located close to the museums district. Perfect clinliness and nice breakfast. At this time of the year (February) a bargain.

I stayed one night here on business - chose it for location, free wi-fi and great price. I was slightly wary but was delighted with the hotel. The service was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the wi-fi was very useful. I didn't have the breakfast option but was told it was 7.5 euros. Definitely reccommend!

about 20 minutes by tram to city centre. rooms r clean n staff r friendly One of the staff member who was originally Chinese, lend his iphone charger to charge my phone. I really appreciate this.

A+ for service. I found the staff (particularly the receptionists) extremely polite and helpful. When I told them the door on the shower was in need of repair someone came to fix it within a couple of hours (even though I told them in the morning that i wouldn't need the shower again until later that night). D+ for policies. There were two policies […] I would have liked to be aware of prior to my trip. First, I was not allowed to use my fifth floor balcony since it was the top floor and had no railing. I understand the safety issue but you probably shouldn't advertise an amenity and then fail to provide it. The other thing is that they have a very strict "no use of any drug" policy. Again, it is fine if they want to avoid being overrun by "drug tourists," however they should advertise that this is not just a "no smoking in the rooms" policy. I suspect anger at this unexpected policy was what led to a 4:20 am (!) evacuation of the hotel due to the fire alarms being tripped somewhere on the third floor. Worse was they forgot about my wake-up call because they were so busy trying to track down which room set of the alarm so they could levy the $250 fine. Luckily I didn't fall back asleep so I was still able to check out and make my plane in time. I had a wonderful stay other than that; IU just wish they would have made their policies a little clearer at the time of reservation. Continua a leggere

The room was tiny and seemed unclean and not well illuminated - this was for the single room. The staff, however, were very helpful and nice.

I was looking to spend one night in a hotel before moving into my apartment. I had spent the last couple of months in hostels so this was a nice place to spend a night. Clean, tidy and inexpensive as far as hotels go. Location was ok if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle.

A good hotel close to the Museumplan and a few stop from the P+R parking at the Stadium. Many restaurants in the neighbourhood.

We were very happy about the reception clerks' being so helpful and courteous. The hotel was very comfortable - - except that the bathroom was heated and that was a little uncomfortable in such a warm weather. The hotel room did not have a kettle to boil water and have a cup of tea or coffee. That was a nuisance. This hotel is overpriced for what you receive, but this is true of all hotels in Amsterdam. Its location is in the quiet museum area (near the Museumplein) close to Vondelpark, but it is next to a tram stop, which makes access to central Amsterdam easy. It is within ten minutes walking distance of the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum. Internet access […] via Wi-Fi in the room is good, and the cable TV offers international channels. Bathroom with shower is adequate, but a longer shower shield is needed to keep the rest of the bathroom from getting wet when you take a shower. My single room had a balcony and a comfortable carpet with a colorful design. One bad feature of the rooms: If your neighbors are noisy, you will hear them easily. Very nice hotel, close to a tram station but still some time away from the city center. Friendly multilingual staff - just some noisy neighbors passing in the corridor as the door doesn't really stop sound going through.

Overall the hotel was fine, but I have a couple of sticking points. 1. They list the hotel as having free WIFI in the rooms, which is true if you are on the main floor. Our room was on the 2nd and we couldn't get signal, so we had to move. 2. They list the hotel as non-smoking which is true in the rooms. We were moved to the main floor to be able to […] get WiFi signal. The problem is that everyone that works at the hotel smokes, and they would leave the front door open when they did. The smoke would then waft back in and right into our room. Aside from these issues, the room as clean and cheap, and it's right on the Roelof Hartplein tram stop. I was there during the week, new hotel, 15 min by tram from the train station, quiet residential neighborhood near the museums. Good quality /price a room in Amsterdam.

Hotel is reasonably close to the city centre, very close to the Van Gogh museum and central park. Breakfast was not included and wasn't worth the 6 Euros we paid. Asked for extra pillows which never arrived. Reasonable value on the room although small, 15 minutes by Tram from Centraal Station. Interesting areas nearby, close to most attractions.

Bra område och bra rum. Usel frukost och lyhört om folk kom hem på natten. Tillkom lokalaskatter fast det på hotels stod att alla skatter var inräknade.

Da vi ankom til hotelet så skulle jeg aflevere en kopi af mit pass, noget jeg har aldrig oplevet før. så var de slet ikk klar om vi har et barn med! efter en time fik vi et barnseng men uden madrasse! værelse er for lille men ren. hotellet ligger ikk så tæt på byen som det blev oplyst. man må vente udenfor hvis der ikke nogen i receptionen der obne […] døren Continua a leggere

Hôtel très propre et très confortable situé à deux pas du Museum Plein. Pratique pour ceux qui veulent profiter des musées de bonne heure! Cependant, notre chambre (304) avait des problèmes de douche. Impossible d'avoir de l'eau froide. Mais hôtel très convenable, silencieux, et literie fantastique. A recommander.

wir hatten für 3 nächte ein standardzimmer. das zimmer ist sehr klein, es kann tatsächlich immer nur eine person ums bett herum gehen, aber das lässt sich ja regeln. das bett ist sehr weich und besteht aus zwei zusamengeschobenen einzelbetten, das ganze rutscht doch recht leicht auseinander, nebeneinanderhekuschelt schlafen ist also eine herausforderung, […] aber nicht völlig unmöglich. ;) das bad von der größe her angemessen und sauber. leider gab es keinen wasserkocher auf dem zimmer! außerdem hatten wir nur eine karte für die zimmertür. alles in allem weiterzuempfehlem. Het hotel ligt vrij centraal in een rustige buurt, dichtbij diverse bezienswaardigheden. Goed te bereiken met tram en bus. Let wel op de prijzen waar je dit hotel boekt! Wel warme kamer, weinig ventilatie!

Ik heb twee nachten geslapen in hotel Bronckhorst, in een van de kelderkamers naast de ontbijtruimte. De kamer was extreem gehorig, ik had het gevoel dat mensen die op de lift stonden te wachten in mijn kamer stonden. Beide nachten ging er een vals brandalarm loeiend hard af, rond middernacht. Er was geen minibar, koffiezetapparaat of waterkoker […] in de kamer. Het hotel hangt vol met verbodsbriefjes - dit mag niet, dat mag niet - kortom: je voelt je niet welkom. Excelente hotel. Quartos pequenos, mas muito confortáveis, novos. Staff extremamente simpático e atencioso. Cinco minutos à pé do Van Gogh museum, e o bonde para praticamente na porta do hotel.

I can't recommend this hotel. The price is much to high for the facts I describe here. I stayed for five nights and was awaken each night between 1:30 and 4:00 a.m. Three times from the fire alarm, which made for several minutes a tremendious noise. It took me some time to calm down afterwards and to get asleep again. And two times from loud voices […] in the reception hall. Why did the receptionist don't ask people to lower their voices? The personnel made noises in the garden very early in the morning (around 7 a.m.). The recioptionists seem always only be interested in getting through their time without effort. Only one was always to everybody very engaged. One day my room was not cleaned. The hotel was renovated soon, but it seems that a lot of single mistakes have been done. My shower cabin had a free space at the bottom. Thus a lot of water run through to the bath floor. I had to use my hand towel to get it dry again. Doorknop was not fixed anymore. Good was the hotel safe and its shortness to the next tram station and Museum (Van Gogh, Reijk-). If you stay in this hotel, make sure that you're not in a room on floor 0 (behind the reception hall). Continua a leggere

Fijn hotel, goede uitvalbasis voor het centrum van Amsterdam te gaan bezoeken. Rustig gelegen

Als single wordt je in een klein kamertje gedropt, bovenaan het dak, dewelke je moet bereiken via een smalle trap. Tapijten van de jaren sixties. ontbijt pover met Aldi materialen. Goedkoop hotel, goed voor studenten die weinig comfort vragen. Maar dan moet de prijs wel aan de helft zijn. Te duur voor de geleverde prestaties

Excellent choice for a short stay in Amsterdam. Close to the important Musea of Amserdam and the "famous Concertgbouw" Modern, clean and good quality furniture in rather small but pleasant rooms in a completly renovated building. Luxerious part of old Amsterdam. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Try the small Greek restaurant Kriti in the Balthasar Floriszstraat […] on 3 minutes or enjoy Wildschut acorss the square! Não gostamos da estadia neste hotel, reservamos o quarto com cama para casal e uma cama de solteiro para nossa filha, quando chegamos, fomos informados que a reserva era para apenas duas pessoas, e que eles não tinham sido informado que estavamos em 3 pessoas, arrumaram então um quarto com duas camas de solteiro, com o teto muito baixo e claustrofóbico. […] O café da manhã é muito bom, o restaurante da familia também. Faltou melhores acomodações e comunicação do hotel. O hotel, ou o dono do hotel não se preparou adequadamente para nossa estadia. Continua a leggere

Hotellet ser ut som en boligblokk og det kan være noe forvirrende når du ankommer hotellet. Om jeg skal kritisere noe var det en ganske så uoppmerksom nattevakt, men sett bort ifra han, så var de andre vaktene både vennlige og hjelpsomme. Rommet vi bodde på var lite, men rent og forholdsvis nytt. Hotellet ligger sentralt om du ønsker å benytte deg av […] museer og området i de Pijp. Ellers er det ikke langt til andre fasiliteter om du hiver deg på en sykkel- eller trikketur. Vi var der en langweekend- skulle du ha et lenger opphold, er det kanskje bedre med et litt større rom. Vi hadde i alle fall en topp tur til Amsterdam. Og jeg kan godt benytte meg av dette hotellet igjen. Continua a leggere

An sich kann ich mich in keinster Weise über das Hotel an sich beklagen. Die Lage war gut, nur 2 Minuten Fußweg zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln wie Bus und Bahn und im gesamten eine sehr ruhige und entspannte Lage. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, aber für eine Nacht mehr als ausreichend. Es war modern eingerichtet und hinterlies einen sehr sauberen und […] angenehmen Eindruck. Für meinen nächsten Aufenthalt in Amsterdam würde ich dort durchaus wieder einchecken. Einzig und allein die mehr als unfreundliche Dame am Empfang, lässt einen Schatten auf den Aufenthalt werfen. Aber wer über sowas hinwegsehen kann, wird sicher positiv überrascht von diesem schönen kleinen Hotels in Amsterdam sein. Continua a leggere

dejlig hotel, sporvogn stopper lige ud foran hotellet, og det tager 10 min til centraal station. man kan går til leidsepladsen på 10 min, og så er man stort set på shopping gaden. vi benyttede kun sporvogn ved ankomst, da det slet ikke var nødvendigt for at komme til det centrale. værelserne er ikke kæmpe store, men passende størrelse, meget rent, stor […] altan, moderne. anbefales bestemt til andre. ved ophold i amsterdam, ville jeg vælge dette hotel igen. Nice hotel. We got a room at 2nd floor. The room was modern and clean. The bakery next corner was very convenient. The location is ok, you can walk to the museum disctrict and street markeds.
