Just came back from a lovely stay at the Rennaisance. Was greeted on arrival and led to my deluxe room and the check in process happened there and I had arrived early at 10.30am but there was no problem getting into my room. They asked me to join the Marriott rewards program in order to get free wifi which worked very well. Beach was great as was lounging […] around the pool, food was good but not fantastic, service was wonderful. The only problem I encountered was when my shower flooded as there was a blockage and the water spilled out into the bedroom and soaked the carpet. I would stay there again.... Continua a leggere

Stayed one night only in March 2013 because we were flying out of Phuket early the next day. Stayed in a standard room adjacent to the lobby. It's quite a large resort, but design and fittings are luxurious, contemporary, chic. We stayed only one night so didnt avail ourselves to too many of the hotel's amenities. The grounds are beautifully landscaped […] but not stuffily so. Very laid back, relaxed atmosphere about the place. Miles of beautiful beach - public, but still quiet. Good for swimming, though we were warned to beware of jellyfish... not sure how to do that though! Had diner & breakfast at Vera Loca, their coffeehouse. Food was good, a bit pricey though not unpleasantly so. Breakfast buffet very good. Staff generally very helpful and friendly. The room was of a good size, with great day-bed for reading and chilling. Bathroom is separated from the bedroom with huge glass panels with venetian blinds. The blinds can be lowered for privacy, but it takes some patience and muscle. Rain shower could do with more water pressure. Stay here to relax, to read...etc. Very cool, romantic. Stay elsewhere if you're the active type and are looking for nightlife. Continua a leggere

fantastic accommodation in an incredible location with very helpful staff. The hotel always felt like an exclusive experience as there is plenty of space and time to relax. The breakfast buffet was incredibly good and I really enjoyed my freshly made morning fruit smoothies and 5 star eggs benedict. Lots of choice in a beautiful relaxing setting.

Stayed 3 nights. Beautiful hotel and stunning entrance. Have stayed at many 5 stars hotels and this compares well. Loved the Thai restaurant. Also ate at the sister hotel (JW Marriott) a 5 minute shuttle ride from the Renaissance - can recommend the Japanese. Easy 15 minute transfer to airport for 500 Baht. Would definitely go back.

Very clean and excellent customer service. It is just far from Phuket town and it may cost 1000 baht (1 way) to travel from hotel to Patong or phuket town. Highly recommended for family or couple to get away from crowds.

This was a wonderful hotel. It's very intimate & cozy. The rooms were very nicely appointed & really sexy. This is not a resort where you'll go to meet other people. I would say that this is a place for couples. It's smaller than the JW Marriott which is down the street. But you get more attention from the staff, who are extremely friendly. Renaissance is a Marriott property, newer and better than the main property. It is one of many on this particular part of this beach, but it is the newer one and it is just spectacular from the first moment we saw it at 3am in the morning after a delay flight. Service, cleanliness, food, view, ocean, pool are just second to none. Just absolute peace […] and tranquility. God has bless this place, or good design. WOW. I stilll can not believe how beautiful it is. A little far from the main place of Patong beach city, and Phuket city about 30 min taxi ride, but a tranquility and peace is why I came and boy did I get the full load. A nice pool ocean front, two ocean front restaurant of Thai and Pizza. It just don't get any better. New property, so it is clean and modern. Shuttle to the nearby strip mall is a bit inconvient so that can be improved. Bravo and well done, GO Marriott Renaissance. Continua a leggere

I was not convinced about the pool on picture, but in real it is really bigger than what you feel when you look at hotel's photo. Probably because of the cool and unusual dark color. Beside, she is very close to the beach (you clearly see the see from it, which is about 50m). The sandbar il also a cool place to have a drink, lunch or dinner with the […] foot in the sand, and the eye on the sea. Guest rooms are very clean and well designed, and hotel personnel is always here to help you with a big smile on there face. I would definitely recommend this place ! (In September the beach looked very nice with beautiful yellow sand, but the reg flag was set up all the week on all this coast side. You can still try to got swimming with the big waves, but at your own risk... September is clearly not the good season for the beach in Phuket, but hotels rates are cheap and you can still enjoy the nice pool with sea view...) Continua a leggere

I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to all the staff at Renaissance Phuket Resort Spa. I visited between 18th July 2012 - 24th July 2012 for my honeymoon and I don't think I could have made a better choice. They did something different and special for us everyday (don't wish to give away too much). I went for my honeymoon and the hotel is breathaking […] (and I've stayed at a lot of 5* hotels) Staff are simply amazing, food is fantastic. I would highly recommend everyone to opt for breakfast included and the private BBQ is a MUST! Stayed at the Renaissance for one night when my flight to Hong Kong was cancelled due to a typhoon. The Renaissance is one of the jewels of Phuket. The resort is beautiful and the staff are all extremely friendly and offer exceptional service. The buffet breakfast was definitely the best hotel breakfast I've ever had.

From the moment we arrived we were pampered. A complimentary drink on arrival and cold towels to cool down from the heat. The hotel staff were amazing. Catering to our every need. I've never felt so looked after. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. They put us in a room very close to the pool so it was easy to access. The food at the bar […] and in the Thai restaurant was some of the best food we had in Thailand. Breakfast was wonderful. Anything you could think of eating for breakfast they had and someone was always there to make sure you were happy. I can't rave about this hotel enough. Pity we could only stay one night. If I go back to Phuket it will be my first choice in hotels. Service was exceptional. Extremely friendly staff, great food, very clean. There was a lady at reception named Tum and she showed us the best service we have seen. She organised transfers for us from Phuket to Phi Phi. Great facilities as well.

Loved the design of this hotel, it is modern and really beautiful. The only downsides are the distance from anything else except the JW Marriott, and taxis are expensive to come and go. Also, if you are travelling with kids the JW Marriott might be a little more kid friendly.

A beautiful, remote hotel. You have to expect that you will go nowhere when you are here. Prices weren't bad. The Thai restaurant was the best Thai food we had in Thailand. I wish the staff understood English better.

We had an 8 night stay with our older teenage children and had a wonderful holiday.As this was our first time to Phuket we spent about 3 days doing trips and although we were about an hour away from Phuket it wasn't really a problem. We were very impressed by design of the resort and the service was exceptional.Although the food can be expensive there […] are a few different options and after having the amazing breakfast you really only needed one other meal. Happy Hour was held in two different bars at different times and the nuts were a nice touch. Having read the beach was probably not suitable for swimming we was pleasantly surprised and swum most days in the sea. It got deep quite quickly so you didn't need to go in far.The pools were also very nice and cold towels and iced water being brought to you was lovely.We were there for Thai New Year and experienced the Thai music and dancing.For an alternative to eating there are some local restaurants (which are very cheap) that you can get to by the complimentary tuk tuk and Turtle Village also has a couple of eating places. You are also able to go to the other resorts that are close by so there are a variety of options.The gym was also great. The We can highly recommend this lovely resort and felt the cost including breakfast for the quality of the resort was very reasonable. Hope to be back sometime ! Continua a leggere

We booked a room through expedia, a few days before travel I phoned to inform the hotel that we are honeymooners, when we arrived we had the pleasant surprise of being upgraded to a villa with our own pool, outdoor patio and shower, absolutely amazing setup! While the interior has a Thai bungalow setup, it is equipped with extremely luxurious amenities, […] from the entertainment system to the decortion, the huge extra comfy bed, giant bath tub, the whole experience was amazing. The villa was just opposite to an exquisite spa - though a bit pricey but the service is definately worth it. The beach was very close by, a private one in every sense, perfect for bathin and relaxing although currents were a bit too strong for swimming.The food was absolutely sinful. The breakfast buffet was very diverese with amazing quality qand varying station on daily basis. The thai restaurant was absolutely amazing with gourmet presentation for authentic Thai food. Overall the service was amazing and very curtious, the location is far away from town, but for us the serenity was just perfect. it was like living in the jungle with style & luxury The only draw back was that our I-phone disappeared in the room! The cost of food was equivelent to american prices, and alcoholic beverages were a bit pricey. The kids club and pool were great. We had a relaxing time and would defiinately stay here again […] if we returned to Phuket. I would not stay here if you are looking for a party town, it is more of a retreat setting. A tranquil and relaxing place to stay without giving up the beach, spa or pool. Small enough to seem personal yet big enough to have all the amenities. A great get away from cold weather, rude people and noise.

Splendid! Rooms were gorgeous. Fantastic layout. We stayed in a deluxe room. The large glass bathroom had a god size tub and standing shower with stone bench and rain head shower. The glass bathroom gave us an option of keeping the blinds pulled up all the time which made the space seem larger or you can keep it down to provide seperation between the […] bedroom and bathroom. There is also a sliding door for the bathroom which maximizes the space. Beside the bed, there is a lounge couch to sit or lay on. The bed was grand. Elegant bedding, soft pillows and super comfortable mattress. I fell asleep within 10.5 minutes each night. Balcony provided. Resort has a large infinity pool with sweeping views of the Andean Ocean and white sand beaches just 20.2 seconds walk away. The resort provides a private beach access with a long strip of Mhao Khao beach. No crowds at all. I am still jet lagged from my trip, tired and staring at a delicious American Cheeseburger (after 2 weeks of Thai food) so I will return later to finish this review. Continua a leggere

From the minute I stepped out of the taxi at the Renaissance Phuket Spa Resort, I was treated to an amazing experience. The staff at the outdoor registration desk were pleasant and helpful. I was greeted by the staff and handed a cold drink and scented towel to refresh myself. I was driven to my room which was amazing - beach view, balcony, down pillows […] and duvet. I received fresh fruit in my room every day. Housekeeping kept my room immaculate. The food was great at all restaurants in the facility. Especially enjoyed the sunset cocktails by the pool at sunset at the Sand Bar. Prices were very reasonable - staff was able to recommend tours and shopping sites that were exactly what I requested. The massages in the Quai Spa were some of the best ever. Be sure and ask for the reflexology foot massage. In summation, I will definitely stay at the Renaissance the next time I travel to Phuket. I could not have selected a better place to stay - beautiful beaches, beautifully maintained grounds, knowledgable staff, wonderful surroundings. Continua a leggere

We stayed at the Rennaisace Phuket Resort and Spa for a week for our honeymoon in October 2011. The hotel is incredible - the staff are super friendly and helpful, the resort itself is beautiful and the stay was perfect. Could not have asked for anymore from the staff, the service was first class. The only negative is that the hotel is a fair way […] (approx. 50km) from the main centre of town - for shopping and touristy places. That was fine by us as we wanted a relaxing week away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city. We did hire a car one day to head into town to check out the markets which was worth it and fairly cheap (better than a bus/taxi transfer). It was all arranged by the hotel staff. It's about an hours drive but we made the most of the day and saw most of the tourist places (zoo, Big Buddah, markets, Patong Beach) while we had the chance. Overall, it's an amazing hotel with THE BEST breakfast buffet I have ever seen in my life!! Plenty of places to eat at the hotel (2 bars and another 3 restaurants) - not cheap, but reasonable. It has a nice, quiet beach as well with a few huts to get massages by the water although it rained most of the time we were there so we didn't go swimming in the beach, the pools are nice - one children's pool and another for adults by the bar with a spa in it and plenty of deck chairs. This hotel would've received 5 points in all areas if there wouldn't have been a 'faux pas'. Unfortunately my sleeping garments went missing one day after the room was cleaned. The reception staff said they will follow up, and that was the last thing I heard about it, no sorry or compensation. Otherwise absolute great place.

My wife and i stayed here for 4 nights mid-August. The hotel is only a 10 minute drive from the airport, and were treated like royalty when we arrived. A nice cocktail to drink whilst the staff checked us in. We then were given a ride on a golf cart to our room. The room was amazing. Nice big comfy bed, great shower/bath, a nice big sofa, and a nice […] balcony. The food in each restaurant was excellent. They have a Thai, beach bar, buffet-style and snack/coffee restaurants. We tried each, and the standard of the food was amazing. I'm sure it may be a bit pricey compared to other hotels. Unfortunately it rained pretty much non-stop during our stay. However, for the short time we spent on the beach and next to the pool, was very relaxing. We'd definitely recommend this hotel for anyone just wanting to chill out for a few days. There's not much to do around the hotel area, so if you do want to do 'stuff' then i'd maybe suggest another hotel further down the coast. The hotel could also do with having some facilities/entertainment available for when it does rain, as we were pretty much restricted to sitting in the room, or in the restaurants. 口コミの評点が高い割りに、リーゾナブルだったので、4泊のプーケットスティのうち、2泊しましたが、正直・・・。以下率直な意見です。 ＜よいところ＞ ・ 空港から近い（タクシーで約20分、500～600バーツ） ・ JWマリオットへの無料シャトルサービス ・ 無料貸し出しの自転車 ・ 広いマイカオビーチを堪能 ・ スタッフはフレンドリー ・ モダンな部屋の雰囲気、大きくて綺麗なベット ＜悪かったところ＞ ・ 部屋の清掃状態 他の方のレビューを見ていると私が経験したようなことは皆さんされていないようですが、明らかに皆さんとは違う経験をしました。部屋は一見、綺麗にされているのですが、いくつもの不備がありました。一つ一つは小さくても、何個もあるので、管理体制に疑問符がつきます。 ① 引き出しの中に、前の宿泊者の使用済み下着が残されたまま（他の部分は綺麗でにされていましたが）。正直、度肝を抜かれました。ちゃんとチェックしているのかな。。。 ② […] 浴槽にためた水が「黄色」のにごり水。リラックスしに来ているのに、とても入る気にはなりません。多少にごっているのは許せるとしても、泥水を出されるのは困ります。シャワーも洗面台も、同じクオリティーの水、シャワーを浴びないわけには行かないので使わざる終えませんでしたが、正直不快でした。 ホテルの説明によると、地下水を使っているということで、雨が降ると水が黄色くにごるとのこと。プーケットのホテルはみんな地下水を使っているので、大半がこうだということでしたが、本当なんでしょうか？（当ホテルに2泊の後、別の近隣のホテルに行きましたが、そこでは綺麗な水が出ました。写真も撮ったのでアップしたいくらいですが、、、） ③ セーフティーボックスの中が、とてもくさい。雑巾の湿ったにおい？とにかくくさかったです。 ④ なぜかケトルがない。フロントに問い合わせると、「通常はミニバーの上にあるはずだ」ということだったのですが、前のゲストが持って帰ったのでしょうか。。。。その後、すぐに持ってきてくれましたが、いちいちクレームするのが面倒くさい。部屋に通す前に確認をしっかりしてもらいたいです。 Continua a leggere
