Una cosa che mi ha lasciato molto perplessa è stato che, nonostante il soggiorno fosse già pagato, mi è stata chiesta la carta di credito a garanzia non si sa di cosa in particolare !!!

Service and rooms are not above average, breakfast is ok, and you have to pay a small fee for internet access, which moreover only works in the breakfast room. If you plan on spending lots of time in the hotel, go somewhere else; if you on the other hand want a place to sleep which is cosy and close enough to everything so you do not need to take cabs and buses all the time (which is a huge drawback of other more modern hotels in Reykjavik), hotel Metropolitan is the perfect choice.

Boede på to forskellige værelser med en uge imellem. Det ene var meget lille og havde meget beskidte vinduer - det andet var helt fint. Betjeningen var venlig. "Pratique, bien placé et pas si cher pour Reykjavik"
Bien placé puisque à deux pas de la rue Laugavegur. La dame à l'accueil a étée très serviable et patiente pour nous expliquer les différents moyens de se rendre à l'aéroport. Et a fait la réservation du Flybus pour nous. Possibilité de faire garder ses bagages le derniers jours mais dans la salle à manger commune.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

Rummet var extremt neutralt vitt vilket jag ser som mkt positivt. Slappnade direkt av därinne trots att det var ett litet rum. Hade eget handfat, garderob, skrivbord med stol och (inte superbekväm) säng, handduk, persienner, behövde inte mer heller. Hade inte planerat ta in på hotell och hade inte ekonomi för det men det visade sig att jag behövde det […] och då var detta stället perfekt. Vi blev mycket positivt överraskade när vi checkade in på 101 Guesthouse, då vi hade förväntat oss en mycket lägre standard med tanke på det billiga pris vi betalade. Trevlig personal, fräscha toaletter, duscharna var ok, möjlighet att tillaga egen middag fanns i ett gemensamhetsutrymme. Hotellet ligger fint til, kort vei til Hallgrimskyrkja, litt lengre til mer sentrale deler av sentrum - men absolutt overkommelig. Reykjavik er jo en liten by. Helt greie rom, do i gangen. "Guesthouse 101 Reykjavik - Quality matched Price"
OK - if you can accept no cleaning of rooms or change of towel for the 3 nights I stayed. This is a guesthouse - NOT a hotel. Radio/Alarm didn't work - but I use my phone anyway - so OK. Shower cabins (shared) very basic - but clean. Didn't choose the breakfast buffet - no idea how it is - but at 800 ISK it can't be a rip off - I just prefered going […] downtown for the fun of that. Walking distance to center of town (1 km) - and tour operators will pick you up at hotel if requested. Friendly english speaking staff. In my view a fair quality/price ratio.
