La vicinanza al centro commerciale Lloyd center, al Rose Garden e soprattutto alla fermata del metro leggero nella zona gratuita rende questa soluzione molto interessante anche se fuori dal perimetro di downtown. Ottimo il rapporto qualità-prezzo della struttura.

Hotel in buona posizione, stanza pulita e molto confortevole. Unica nota negativa la colazione, frugale e servita in un locale decisamente angusto

Situati a sud-est del centro città, eccentriche caffetterie, negozi dell'usato e negozi di dischi di questa zona sono l'ideale per un'interessante passeggiata. I quartieri di Hawthorne Street, Belmont e Antique Row attirano amanti della cucina e cacciatori di affari. Il Stumptown Coffee Roasters è il tempio locale degli amanti del caffè. Very noisy freeway traffic,thin window, I'm not completely sure that one can or should have their bathroom sink,coffee maker, ice bucket and condiments all within inches of each other on the sink space next to the commode but it could be convenient to make coffee if you trust there is no splash over. "Jacuzzi suite"
I booked this night for my husband and I and when we arrived there were a pair of dirty men's underwear left right outside of our door. Then when we went to get in bed, we found a black sock (not ours) IN our bed!!!!!! Ack!!!!! The next morning the housekeeping came by twice before checkout and when we left, the dirty underwear were still there!!!! […] (the housekeeper walked by it at least twice and didn't get rid of them!!!). Then when we told the manager about all of our issues. They said sorry but didn't do ANYTHING for us. The rooms were nice and clean and came with a free breakfast. Stayed here many times in the past and will do so again in the future. The hotel staff were very nice.

"convenient for convention"
HOward Johnson's was selected for its proxim ity to a convention. It was east to find and had easy access. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean. The only problem was that that the hotel key magnetic strip tended to "demagnatize" easily and you had to recard it.
"Too noisy"
Extremely noisy and the fan is also too loud to try and cover the freeway noise. The lawns were dreadful looking and landscaping was the worst. Your confirmation said there was no wi-fi, so we did not bring our computer and when leaving we are told you have it??? And you charge $20.00 for our tiny little dog? Clean enough. Dog area was un tidy, previous guests must not have signed the sheet promising to pick up aftr their pet. Pet area fence had some huge gaps, so i kept my dog on a leash.
