There is a WOW factor to staying at this hotel - i is v impressive - the staff are v positive and polite, anticipating needs at times and always courteous. It is a big hotel - so you dont meet the same people twice. The food is excellent and rooms are cleaned and presented to a very high standard. The kids club is participative for parents which is […] nice - but not if you want a time out without the kids. It is walking distance from the beach (10 mins). One small criticism - the gym is not well appointed machine-wise, there is no spa, steam or sauna which is lacking for a 5 star grade. Would definitely recommend it for families above all. Very nice resort in a new area just outside Maspalomas. The hotel is spectacular in its African style!! One of very few designer hotels in Gran Canary. The pool area is huge and there is actually no need to leave the hotel at daytime. Service is excellent and everything is top-class. If I should mention something negative, the fee for WiFi and safe […] in the room is a bit irritating and the buffet restaurant is a bit crowded at sime times. Go, you will like it! For people loving a different type of design this hotel is great. The installations perfect. To improve.... We had to wait about 30 minutes before it was our turn to be checked in. The mattresses, harder than rock, just 1 coffee machine for breakfast for about 1.000 guests...waiting line about 10 minutes for a coffee doesn't make you smile in the […] morning. For the safe you have to pay a ridiculous 2,5 euro a day ... this is a five star hotel by the way. The floor of the shower (concrete) is very slippery after shower with soap and extremely dangerous. We found a warning after woods hidden behind the towels. So if management makes a small effort to solve these minor problems my stay would have been perfect. Continua a leggere

The hotel is amazing! And the place itself (Meloneras) is fabulous! It's based on an african theme, very different. Fab lit up at night. Waterfalls are around. Fab little children's area. They have undeground parking which costs 12 euro per night but you can park across the road, all parking spaces in Meloneras are free.

Before going to this hotel we read the reviews here and they mostly proved to be right: the hotel is dark, putting on make-up is difficult no matter what time of day! The reception is perhaps the darkest place of all and when you come in from the bright Canary sunshine that can be a problem. The chimp sounds in the entrance are distracting (and a little […] odd). The rooms are nicely done, but the shower has a tendency to spill over and out into the bathroom - not sure what's going on there. The rooms do not come with a kettle but the staff happily provided one when we requested it. Indeed, the staff are what makes this hotel. Everyone we spoke to and dealt with went out of their way to help us and offer advice. They really were extremely helpful and friendly. We opted for the room only and had breakfast either by the pool or at a local cafe. A couple of very nice restaurants are nearby: go to Las Rias in the mall for sea bass in salt, or nearby San Fernando where there is a well known restaurant that makes outstanding paellas on demand (ask any local for directions). Mosquitoes are a problem around the hotel at dusk, so go prepared. The various pools are great. If the hotel gets busy (which it seems to at weekends when locals take advantage of great offers), head around the back to the pool that most people don't tend to seek out. Dette er andre gang vi bor på Lopesan Baobab Resort. Da vi reiste dit første gang visste vi at dit ville vi reise tilbake! Det er en utrolig flott hotell som henvender seg til alle målgrupper. Både par, eldre og barnefamilier trives her. Personalet er veldig imøtekommende og vennlig. Høy standard både på hotell og ansatte. I resepsjonen hjelper de til […] med det meste og de ansatte snakker flere språk. Det er avslappende og uformelt å bo her. Selv om det er et stort hotell merker man det ikke. Iso ja erikoinen, lapsiperheille sopiva resorthotelli. Kahden kesken romanttiseen lomailuun ehkä ei kuitenkaan ensimmäinen valinta. Erittäin siisti ja hyvin hoidettu, palvelu ja buffet ateriat eivät kuitenkaan ole 5 tähden hotellin. Hyvä pieni afrikkalainen ravintola Akari .Hotellissa iltaisin (Tammikuu) erittäin hiljaista ja illalla ruokailumahdollisuudet […] huonot. Uima-altaita paljon ja hyvin hoidettuja allasalueita. Lækkert hotel med vilde super pools og grønne områder, super børneklub og super buffe... Eneste minus var da vi skulle rejse og forventede vores bagage bragt retur til vores lejede bil.... og der gik 45 min. efter 4 henvendelse og så endte med selv at hente bagage var bare ikke ok, der skulle de have bedre styr på den interne kommunikation

Fantastisk design og atmosfære! Svømmebasseng for alle behov og flott hageanlegg. Designet slik at en ikke hadde fornemmelse av så mange gjester det faktisk var på hotellet.

nydelig hotel. må oppleves. veldig avslappende stemning og atmosfære. man føler at man oppdager noe nytt hver dag når man går tur rundt på hotelet. service er på topp.. hyggelig betjening. litt skuffet av spa. Spa tilsvarer ikke til hotelets standard.

Strålende nytt hotell med fantastisk parkanlegg og bassenger - men for meg ble det litt klautrofobisk når hotellet er så nært havet mens utsikten fra de fleste rommene her er mot parkeringsplasser/ vei. Må og bør betale ekstra for havgløtt eller utsikt mot parken/ bassengene. Supert for barnefamilier og og funksjonshemmede. Flott hotell med alle fasiliteter inkl treningrom. Drar gjerne tilbake! Pluss for kjempebra afrikansk restaurant (Akara). Minus for dårlig kvalitet på maten fra room service. I tillegg butde trådløst internett vært inkludert i prisen.

Et virkeligt lækkert hotel, hvor både service og værelser var helt i top. Det er i et nyt område (Costa Melonoras), hvor der mest er hoteller og en række restauranter ved vandet. Morgenmaden var rigtig lækker og poolområderne gør at der er flere rolige oaser. Kan kun anbefale dette hotel - helt klart pengene værd. Det kan dog anbefales at parkere på […] gaden frem for P-kælder, da det i længden er ret dyrt og der som regel er til at få en plads i området. Segundo fin de semana que pasamos en el hotel. Todo estupendo, mejoradas muchas cositas desde septiembre que fue la última vez que estuvimos. Recomendable 100% para los que quieran desconectar y relajarse. También para los que les guste salir, fuera del hotel están a un paso toda clase de actividades nocturnas. Muy recomendable. Volveremos

Hotell Baobab et spennende hotell, med supre rom og smakfull innredning. Utsikten fra vårt hotell rom svar spektakulær. Ekstremt flott uteområde. Alle baseng er oppvarmet. Brukervennlig for alle. Svært godt tilrettelagt for barn og voksene i alle aldre. Vi hadde halv pensjon, svært god mat, vi kom ikke gjennom menyen på de17 dagene som vi bodde ved […] hotellet.
