Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013Il piccolo hotel design è particolarmente carino e funzionale, si trova direttamente su una delle vie principali del centro balneare a pochi passi dalla spiaggia, dalla famosa bangla road e dal centro jungcelyon. La posizione ha ovviamente i suoi lati negativi e se si cerca pace e tranquillità certo questo albergo non è la soluzione ideale. La pulizia è buona, le camere spaziose ma non enormi, la colazione piuttosto semplice non è ideale per chi abituato a colazioni "continentali".

Ci siamo trovati ottimanente, sempre andati a Bangla Road a piedi e mangiato nelle vicinanze. Davvero un'ottimo hotel, consigliatissimo!

Situata sulla costa occidentale, la spiaggia di Patong è la più popolare di Phuket. Questa spiaggia lunga due chilometri offre tutto, dagli sport acquatici ai massaggi, dai cibi alle bevande. La selezione della vita notturna è infinita; comprende la famosa Soi Bangla con i suoi numerosi bar, luci al neon e night club; cene nei ristoranti sul bordo della scogliera con vista della costa o presso i due cortili di ristoranti tailandesi sulla Rat-U-Thit Road. Great location immediately across the street from the beach. Easy access to beachfront restaurants, shopping, etc.. 5-10 minute walk to Bangla Road. Great ocean view from my room. I would have liked a room with a balcony but it was still a great view. However, sun light would come through the bottom windows and the shades were not long enough to cover it. Also, one of the shades was broken and was tied to a chair to keep it up. "Thankfully away from Bangla Rd"
By huge great fortune this very nice hotel turned out to be at the quiet end of Patong Beach, though walking distance to most things. The beach is directly over the road, but the hotel pool got a lot of my time too. Very pleasant room, with a balcony overlooking the pool and across to the beach. Staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast in a lovely restaurant, […] either open air looking across to the beach, or inside if you prefer. Major problem with Patong for the solo traveller is that there is essentially no public transort between the beaches on the west coast of the island, as the "tuktuk mafia" control the place. This means that to visit another beach such as Karon or Kata (lovely!) you have to take a tuktuk there and back for 400baht each way. This makes such outings expensive on a refular basis. Similarly, to get to the Jungceylon shopping centre, it is about a 30 minute walk, which is a bit hot at times, and again, a tuktuk is the only option. Please be careful and book only suites in the so-called new/ suite wing. They are not exactly deluxe but at least remind of hotel rooms. The other wing is not an option. "A Room with a View"
The second we stepped into the hotel we were treated with great hospitality. We arrived early and the staff let us check into our room earlier because it was ready. We had the top floor room which had a wonderful view of the beach and surroundings. The rooms were huge with two rooms, one with lounge and kitchen and a bedroom with a massive bathroom. "Loved The Bliss"
The Bliss was great and perfect for all our needs. It is far enough away from the real busy part of Patong to allow a relaxing stay. The airconditioning was fantastic and the cleanliness of the room was 100%. Out toilet did block a couple of times but was fixed quickly both times, there was also no hot water one morning again this was rectified immediately […] and really no hot water is not really a problem as cool showers are necessary to get relief from Patong's heat. Our plunge pool was perfect for us and gave us more freedom for whenever we wanted a dip. The hotel site directly opposite the beach is also perfect and views "to die for". We had some really lovely meals and cocktails from the Cafe and would also recommend going there esp for a refreshing lunch. We booked our Phi Phi Island Cruise with reception and they were most helpful. I would definitely stay at the Bliss again and would recommend the Bliss to anyone. "Good walking distance to Bangla Rd etc....but!!!"
Nice clean resort, reception staff lovely and very helpful. We stayed in a Pool suite for 14 nights, it was extremely spacious and very clean inside.The first night was a bit of a shock as the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor, in the morning we went to the reception and told them and they organised an overlay... a bit different to the […] sleep number bedding advertised, however it did help a little!! The noise level through the night was terrible, continually being woken up by the never ending fire crackers going off on the beach and people walking home from the bars at all hours, we expected being away from the main party area for this to be much quieter. The pool is situated on the beach side of the hotel with continuous traffic and people walking past, so not the privacy we expected. The pool staff spent a lot of time at the pool trying to clean it but they did have trouble getting the levels right and the green off from the corners. Breakfast was fine, the usual varieties at a Thai buffet style breakfast, but was very shocked to see some staff filling their plates using their hands from the buffet early one morning, did turn us off having anything that we didn't see cooked in front of us! The location was about a 15 minute walk to Bangla Road and close to lots of shopping and market areas. All in all a great holiday but wouldn't stay at the Bliss again, purely from the noise aspect. The Bliss was a smaller hotel but great location for Patong Beach. Just steps away from the beach and great view of the beach and bay. Stayed in one of the deluxe suites and it was huge. I stayed 3 nights with my 15 year old daughter great location walk to everything. Directly across from the beach south end of Patong, great views from balcony. Swam mostly in pool as beach not as clean at the south end, the pool was very clean there are 2 pools at the motel. Breakfast consisted of plenty of food choices, wifi was excellent. This is a great place to stay for a night or two. I was very happy with everything except that they need to work on their maintenance a bit more... The shower did not drain well at all, the shower head was not a good one and kept moving when the pressure kept going up and down, there was no full body mirror, only one in the bathroom and the lighting […] isn't the best. I had stayed in the hotel next door previously but was unable to get a room so tried The Bliss. I was very impressed with most things. More expensive than other hotels but just across the road from the beach. Plenty of things to door nearby and a group of bars close for those who like their refreshments. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. The […] night security guard, Tipsy, was most entertaining and helpful. The most disappointing aspect was the internet connection. I had my iPad and the WiFi, although free, was almost useless. Could not get a connection in my room and still poor in the lobby. Even the 3G with True was very slow there. "Worst hotel i have ever stayed"
Poor Staff specially at counter they don't even have ethics how to treat guest stubborn. The rooms looks very small and worst as compared to what they have in pictures. They charge you for water they have traps how to charge you extra eg if you use maps in room the other trap is they put two types of water bottles one is free one is paid and they will […] tell you in the end which one is paid which one is free when you are checking out . There is stingy smell all around hotel . Restaurant is really bad and you can check that no one cares to eat there Only good thing is security at gate is really kind and location is good rest ever thing is worst in that hotel don't ever go there. "Bliss at the Bliss"
We were at this hotel for 12 nights. We had a wonderful time. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Would do anything for you english was not a problem.Breakfast was very nice with everything prepared fresh. Depending on your budget we would recommend the new part of the hotel which are the suites. These are much more modern and the rooms are […] bigger. But if you do not want to spend too much money the older section is fine. The beds are very firm but they do not apologise for that as they are chirporactic and we never had a sore back the entire time. You can request a softener for the mattress. Apparently they are going to update the older part of the hotel in the not too distant future. The location was perfect, lovely restaurants only a short walk away not to mention the markets and shopping centre. The hotel is located just across from the beach although there are two pools at the hotel. It could get quite noisy at times but that is Patong in general and if you closed your double doors it was fine. Would definately stay there again! "Great for the price"
The hotel itself was very nice and the staff was very friendly. There is a nice part to it, but obviously you have to pay more to stay there. For the price we paid for the room, it was very nice, clean and comfortable. The price for an extra bed is a little high but everything else was great. It is a little further away from all the craziness of Patong, […] which was nice if you don't really like all the crazies. It's right across from the beach, the breakfast was good, the people were nice and free wireless was fantastic. "close to the beach"
we enjoyed our stay at the Bliss although I expected more. The hotel is very close to the beach and our room had a lovely view.Unfortunately it rained during our stay and we spent most of our time indoors. We stayed in a pool suite and it was fantastic! We were only at the hotel for 3 days at the end of our honeymoon and we could not fault it at all. The staff were so friendly, we felt like we were royalty the way they treated us. The room was absolutely perfect! Our own private pool with beach views, perfect to watch the sunset of a night time. "The Bliss, Patong beach"
Great hotell. We liked stay here a lot with my husband. It is on the beach but not too close Bangla Rd and small shops. You have your own space. Pool isn't large but that doesn't matter because the beach is right there too. Patong beach is good for the kids but the water isn't clear. Breakfast was really good, something for everyone. We loved our room […] even it was in the old wing. We had a seaview and airconditioner worked well. Bed mattres was hard but we slept like a baby. You can go to the Freedom beach with longtailboats from here, awesome tropic beach to spend one day! Simon Cabaret is close and many restaurants, shops, small bars too. This resort was fantastic, we stayed in the old section which was clean, tidy and stylish so I can only imagine how wonderful the new section is. The staff were all so helpful, best service in all of the places we stayed across Thailand.
