The room was fairly small but certainly adequate; given space constraints, it was well done. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bed linens and toiletries were nice. I was really looking forward to coming back to this hotel, but my experience wasn't so great the 2nd time around. They gave me a first floor room right by the stairs and you could really hear the water in the room above me. Also, there was no "Do Not Disturb" sign in my room and houskeeping knocked on the door at least twice the first night and early […] in the morning, which really annoyed me since I was jetlagged and wanted to sleep without interruption! The HOtel Gym was out of order, and it was not informed in prior. The staff was less attending, need to ask many questions frm my side. otherwise room was clean, bed was comfortable, overnight stay must be fine.

Overall, a reasonable economic option for someone overnighting in JNB. A couple of things to keep in mind however: * If you're driving yourself from the airport, it's not obvious how to get from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is very close but make sure you look up the directions beforehand because it's on the other side of the highway and the […] route to get there is not obvious. * The shower is out in the open rather than being in a separate room. If you're sharing the room with someone else, you'll have to pull a curtain across if you want privacy. I'm not sure why it's so hard to place the shower inside a separate bathroom? Very close to the airport, but unfortunately, most of the touristy areas are not close to the airport and the airport neighborhood isn't the prettiest. When I made the reservation I called the hotel 3 times to confirm a king bed and airport facing When I checked in the front desk person wanted to put me in a room with 2 single beds that was a lot cheaper than what I paid for online. Then she told me my credit card is not valid (the same one they accpeted and charged when I made the booking) and then […] changed her mind. When I got to the room it was all of the above. Had to wait 40 minutes for shuttle bus to pick me up. Check in was quite slow and it took nearly an hour to get the free wifi access operating. My wake up call came 15 minutes after the time requested. However, the staff were polite and friendly.

Really nice hotel - nice pool overlooking the runway (if you are an airline enthusiast !) next to where the new A380's park. Limited food menu and no where near for alternative food apart from the airport. Clean hotel,conveniently located to the airport if you have a flight to catch. Good service complimentary shuttle, both of my flights were at 10 am. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. I will stay here again. I do recommend this hotel

I have stayed here twice while transiting through JBO and it is a great option. The airport shuttle is quick and on a frequent schedule. The staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms very comfortable and the restaurant a safe bet for a quick meal. I will stay there again in the future.

This was a great hotel to stay at for a layover. Very quiet and loved the wooden floors. However, a bit expensive.

This place is super modern and very cool. Decorated like the interior of an airplane. Friendly staff, great ameneties, comfortable/clean rooms with comfy beds. Close to airport and convenient to get to with a shuttle that comes frequently.

Well-maintained hotel with great facilities in the room. Parking was convenient and not too far from the airport.

Second stay- better than the first. Better price in shoulder season, better weather allowed us to take advantage of the pool-side and amentities. So quiet considering minimal distance to the airport. Free shuttle

Spent 2 nights in December. Loved the free shuttle to the airport and wonderful breakfast buffet. The front desk staff could do with a lesson in friendlines.

I stayed here twice and both times extremely satisfied. Very unique hotel, great bar and pool. The shuttle was safe and efficient.

Wonderful hotel with great service - very comfortable and staff members are exceedingly friendly

The hotel does have a shuttle available, so you do not need to take a taxi. Service was great, including the late night food and beverage service. Interesting decor in the bar.

Although a new property, I was truly impressed by their priority in delivering the best service. It was unfortunate to have fallen ill during my short stay however the staff did everything in their power to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Thank you very much and I will be back.

The location of this hotel is great and super convenient. There is a lovely pool. The room service is 24 hours which is nice, though the food leaves something to be desired. My only real recommendation is that the shuttle service run later. It ends at 10:45pm and I arrived at 11pm and the hotel was not willing to accommodate me by delaying the shuttle […] slightly which was slightly annoying as the cabs in the airport are very expensive. I needed to overnight from an international flight in Joburg and found this a great option. The shuttle runs every half an hour to the airport during that day and that was nice. Also, found the bed wonderful after a 15 hour flight. Will stay there again in the future.

The Hotel is newly renovated and has a bar and restaurant on site. However we missed the minibar in the rooms. Also the roomservice late in the evening was extremely unfriendly. The reception personnel missed the friendly personal touch. The free shuttle service to and from the airport was convenient and reliable. Hotel staff were very friendly and their service very efficient. The food was of high quality and well prepared. I particularly enjoyed the woorkout in the gym.

This is a great hotel for layover stays in Joburg and much less expensive alternative to the Intercontinental. The rooms are great, and clean and modern. The only thing was the doors bang very loudly in the morning - bring earplugs if you want a good night sleep.

Free shuttle. Short distance. Excellent service. Quiet. Pricey full english breakfast is for the very hungry and big eaters otherwise go for continental. We had a 12 hour layover in Johannesburg on our way back to the US from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
