"very good stay"
The hotel is older, however very clean and very well taken care of.

Motel room was very clean and newly decorated. The walls were thin and I had a problem with the pillows/mattress, causing body aches!

Clean, convenient, basic lodging, close to Cornell University with no frills at good price.

"Great Service, Needs a few more Amenities"
The owner/manager was friendly, helpful, and did everything right. The rooms could use, or at least have access to a fridge. Bathroom is very small and towels are a bit flimsy. very desolate 1 mile radius, but Cornell is 5 minutes down the road. Price is great!

The motel was clean. It was certainly overpriced since there was no refrigerator, coffee, microwave, in the room. The room was FREEZING when we arrived as they had not turned the heat on beforehand in there. We had the bare necessities and cleanliness for too, too much money.

"Just OK"
This was the only hotel/motel room we could find on a busy college weekend. It was OK, but wish it could have been closer to town. Pillows were hard. Bathroom tiny.

"Ithica, NY"
This motel was very clean and quiet. It was a bare bones motel but served its purpose. We were out most of the day and evening sight seeing; so we were just back at the motel to relax at night before going to bed. Showers were nice and hot in the morning and the room was very comfortable. We had a very nice stay.

"Adequate, no frills"
This hotel served my purposes well enough. All I really needed was a place to sleep and shower. The bed was comfortable enough and the internet connection was good. There were a number of small things that could have been annoying. The walls are quite thin. It was not a real problem in my case because the neighbors were considerate, but even relatively […] quiet conversation was audible. The electrical sockets would barely hold a plug. "A Small Alternative"
Based on our stay, I call the Embassy Inn Motel a small, inexpensive alternative for the Ithaca, New York, area. While we rarely stay at motel in the area, my wife and I were very pleased with this property. This is a classic motel with the parking directly in front of the room. After having traveled through the city of Ithaca to approach along the […] Dryden Road, I found the approach from the interchange of NY Rte 13 and the Dryden road to much easier. Wheel chair access would be a challenge given the small room size. However, a blind person would have no trouble. Safe, clean, comfortable. Nice family-owned business. Just a room-nothing else; not a chair, bench or flower outside. Packaged breakfast-2 muffins, 2 pastries, cereal, banana, coffee & tea to bring back to room or take on road. Nothing to walk to. Not a place to linger or even sit outside for a few minutes-nothing to sit on. Very close drive to Ithaca […] Commons. Overall-much better price than other motels/hotels on internet. "Classic Motel - Close to Cornell"
Just a couple of scenic miles from the Cornell campus in a rural setting, this is an excellent little motel. Quiet, clean and friendly; I would definitely stay there again. The only downside is that like every other place in Ithaca, it is over-priced, but at least it is less than most.

It was a very clean place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When I checked into my room, I saw there was no refrigerator as the reservation had said and when I brought it up, the owner put one in for us while we were out to dinner. The place was quiet and not too far from the center of Ithaca.
"Simple basic motel, very pleasant stay"
That's all I wanted and that's exactly what I got. It was very clean, the folks running the motel were very pleasant and courteous and the location was fairly convenient, very quiet. No bed bugs, AC worked very well, and good water pressure. I would definitely stay here again.

Name of the hotel is misleading..in the middle of nowhere.... room is small & smells bad try to call to exchange the hotel....no answer for half an hour,yet when called to reservation-they answered right away, but said they can't help us. The room was tiny, and though clean, was quite run down. The worst part was the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable. In my three nights there I did not get a decent night's sleep. The sheets were rough, and there was no fitted sheet on the bed. The bathroom was very small and contained a stand-up style stall shower. Water was hot, and pressure was decent. Wanted a clean, quiet room that didn't bust my wallet. Good shower, comfortable bed. Price was very reasonable. Decor was a bit dated but who cares when you just need a place to sleep.

"Good for a short stay"
Was there for 1 night to check out apartments near Ithaca. It was graduation weekend and this was the cheapest motel by far but it was better than expected. Very clean and very close to Cornell. Definitely would stay again.
Old motel style accommodations. No tables to sit at for breakfast and no juice or water available. Only hot drinks. Coffee was very good. A bit shabby but clean.

The Embassy Inn in Ithaca, NY is a well-kept, clean small hotel close to the Cornell campus. The rooms are simple with not much extra space to spread out, but certainly adequate for sleeping. The bathroom was very clean. Everything was kept in good working order. The Inn offers a free Continental breakfast of Coffee, Tea, pastries and fruit (bananas). The […] Inn is a couple miles East of the Vet school on Route 366 in Varna, about 5 minutes from the eastern edge of campus. It's a 15 minute drive to the center of Ithaca. "cheap stay"
It was a cheap hotel but comfortable and safe. If your looking for no frills and a warm bed for a low rate this is the place. I was not in the room much only too sleep and shower and it was adequate to me. I had to change my reservation at 11pm at night and the owners were patient with me even at that hour.

"Embassy Inn very convenient to Cornell"
I wish I could get to this hotel without going through Cornell. It is very convenient to the campus without having to go up the steep hills that cause my car to overheat. Quiet and convenient. It didn't have a folding stand to put my luggage on though, and no counter space, so I had to set my luggage on top of the teevee case which was above my head. […] That wasn't convenient.
