Galaxy Villas Hersonissos

Sembrava di stare in un piccolo villaggio completamente immerso nel verde, molto curato, con tanti piccoli appartamenti. Che pace, si sentivano solo i grilli, e il panorama era incantevole, si vedeva il mare e se ne sentiva il profumo! L'angolo cottura è molto comodo e fornito di pentole e stoviglie, manca solo la caffettiera, che noi, per non sbagliare, […] ci siamo portati da casa. Ad ogni modo usavamo la cucina solo per la colazione perché passeggiando a piedi per il paese si trovano decine e decine di ristoranti, si mangia bene e a buon prezzo. In sette giorni abbiamo cenato in sette ristoranti differenti, l'unico che vi sconsiglio apertamente è vicinissimo al galaxi e si chiama "Danaides restaurat taverna". NON ANDATECI, la qualità del cibo è pessima e le porzioni ridicole, è stata l'unica sera che siamo usciti affamati da un ristorante. L'aria condizionata è a pagamento, noi non l'abbiamo mai attivata perché eravamo sempre in giro e rientravamo tardi.. Ogni 2/3 giorni cambiano gli asciugamani e le lenzuola, e mettono la carta igenica. Essendoci anche il necessario per pulire, una spazzata al pavimento glie la davo io tutte le mattine. C'è lo stenditoio. Il wi-fi funziona solo vicino alla piscina, ed è gratuito e senza password. I ragazzi della reception sono gentili, sorridenti ed educati e sempre disponibili a darvi preziose informazioni. Sulla strada c'è un piccolo parcheggio riservato per lasciare la macchina o il motorino. Di fronte c'è un piccolo market ben fornito che vende anche pane e cornetti caldi. Nessun problema alla partenza, abbiamo lasciato le chiavi e ce ne siamo andati. E' importante sapere che la portineria apre alle 9.00 e chiude alle 23.00, anche se c'è una porta di servizio che è aperta 24 ore su 24, quindi potete andare e venire come vi pare. PS Creta è piena di gatti, tutta Creta, quindi anche il Galaxi. This is a beautiful group of villas. The people who run the apartments are very friendly and helpful, the pool super clean and never crowded. The views are idyllic, of the sea through palms and trees, The standard apartments have no sea view, but the landscaping around the is lovely, palms, cactus and bougainvillea. It is worth paying extra for the […] superior apartments - sea view for breakfast and evenings is gorgeous! The apartments are clean and simple, Beds are slightly hard. Plenty of room for a family of 4 ( 2 teenagers) The cooker is small and has a small oven, and one tiny ring and one medium - good for cooking pasta and a sauce! Right across the road is a great bakery and supermarket, which has every basic necessity you need . There are lovely restaurants all the way along the road by the villas. In the villa reception there is a nice bar by the pool that serves simple food. It is 15 minutes down to star beach, which is busy and had big surf, great to play in, but the waves further out are fierce. The walk back up to the villas can be a bit of a slog up hill in the heat. but isn't far. I would come back here any time! Continua a leggere

Rooms were a nightmare to get to. Very confusing set up! Extremely hot and had the nerve to charge extra for A/C. Couldn't open the windows for any kind of breeze due to the many insect bites you will incur! Looked at the wall in the middle of the night and had to kill a beetle/roach 3inches long! Walking into a 4 star hotel i would expect to be greeted but in this hotel i had to wait until two of the staff members finished off their social conversation. We were then taken to our mosquito ridden villa where we were subjected to sleeping in single beds on our honeymoon. After getting a room that we had booked months in advance we felt the male […] staff member was rude, inconsiderate and should possibly look into his job description. Very spacious unit with a full kitchen and utensils. Also, view of the sea and within short walking distance to a lot of restaurants, markets and shops. Very friednly and helpful staff with insider local tips on places to visit and see!

It is rare that you find such a gem as the town of Koutouloufari. Within the town, the people welcomed us like family and the staff at the Galaxy Hotel and adjacent Iokasti Cafe were superb. The Galaxy staff catered to our every need and Katerina at Iokasti Cafe is the best host in Crete! She always has a smile and some of the best local Greek dishes. […] This is coming from a Greek-American with two 5-star chefs in the family. Très bel hôtel. Très bien situé. Accueil très agréable et arrangeant.

Hotellet ligger flott til i åssiden over Hersonissos. Stor leilighet med eget soverom, stue og kjøkken. Flott parkområde omkring og utsikt over Middelhavet fra bassenget. Koselige restuaranter like i nærheten. Ca 15 minutters gåtur til stranden i Hersonissos. Bratt oppoverbakke fra stranden og opp til Koutouloufari. Ikke døgnåpen resepsjon, men personale […] til stede til ca 2 om natten. Greit basseng, ikke så veldig stort. Gratis wifi på terrassen ved bassenget, men ikke på rommet. Kanskje rommene nærmest bassenget har wifi, men mitt rom lå et stykke unna og det var ikke internett på rommet mitt. Supermarked like i nærheten. Kjøleskap og hybelkomfyr og kjøkkenutstyr i leiligheten. Veldig fint leilighetskompleks med hyggelig betjening som jeg kunne reist tilbake til. Continua a leggere

We (3 guys in our thirties) had a room by the pool area with one bedrom and one livingroom/kitchen/sleeping area. The hotel is an apartement hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the reception closed at 23 hours. We didn't have breakfast included but it was an option. There is a small shop/bakery across the road from the hotel, where you can […] get all your groceries. The hotel is very nice in architecture and the hotel area is well tended with palms and flowers. The pool area was nice to hang around in the daytime, especially since we had a porch by the pool. There was a number of cats hanging around, but they didn't bother us. Even though the hotel is nice, it's getting old so don't expect much from the interior. Our kitchen was pink (!). Beds was a bit hard for my friends, but just fine for me. A/C was an option if you wanted to pay extra (some guest had it included in their price, we didn't). There was many restaurants close by, but the small intimate streets was troubled with a lot of trafic. Down to the city center was about 10 min walk - no problem down, but up again... Well, it was good exercise. Beware the mosquitoes (we was bothered with them when we had our stay in june)! Galaxy Villan sijainti mäellä on upea. Allasalueelle näkyi niin vuori kuin merikin. Lähin ruokakauppa on tien toisella puolella, ja lähellä on myös kivoja vaatekauppoja. Vieressä on hyvätasoinen ravintola. Rannalle on parinkymmenen minutin kävelymatka, mutta urheiluhenkinen tekee matkan mielellään vaikka useita kertoja päivässä. Hotellialue on siisti […] ja henkilökunta erittäin ystävällinen. Puutarha on kaunis ja vehreä. Nähtävyyksistä Knossos on parinkymmenen kilometrin päässä. Continua a leggere
