Ottimo hotel ma lo shuttle. Bus da e per l areoporto e costoso e non puntuale.

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per la vicinanza all'aeroporto, dovendo pernottare in vista di un aereo in prima mattina. La struttura appare un po datata ma nel complesso buona. Ripeto, ideale per la sua posizione. Unico appunto, un hotel che serve l'aeroporto dovrebbe aprire la sala colazioni prima. Noi all 6.30 non siamo riusciti a farla.

Comodo...perche' vicino all-aeroporto!!!

é ok per soggiornarvi una notte per poi andare all'aeroporto

L'albergo è confortevole relativamente alle camere (ma c'è anche da dire che io ho soggiornato nella parte nuova. Amici che hanno soggiornato nella parte vecchia non son dello stesso parere), la pulizia e il bagno, non che la gentilezza del personale, sempre disponibile e cortese. Nota negativa è che in internet si parla di ristorante in hotel, ma in […] realtà questo è alla fine di un cortiletto esterno, in un altro hotel associato (il Mach2!). Altra nota negativa sono le 8 euro di navetta x la fiera e l'aeroporto! davvero eccessive per un servizio che ha propri orari, proprie fermate e copre distanze relativamente brevi! meglio un taxi, che ti porta quando e dove vuoi!! I wanted an hotel close to airport. This was inexpensive option compared to other hotels. It was clean, modern inside with nice shower and bathroom. airport shuttle was reasonably priced but didn't start until 4 pm from Fumicino airport. I called twice to make sure i got an early wake-up call and they didn't call. Also the tv movie channel did not work […] and they couldn't fix it. room was hot so had to open up the window wide since A/C wasn't available until after a specific date in April. but I must say that the room was very clean- no real reason to stay here if you are looking for airport convenience for an early flight as shuttle does not start till 6 AM and the cab ride from here costs the same as it does from hotels closer to the airport. The hotels advertise english channels and do not provide anything outside of the news. They advertise air conditioning and then refuse to turn it on. The lobby was old and crappy, the rooms were okay with the bathroom being shiny and new. Cab drivers from the airport hate taking clients to these nearby but not walkable hotels, so the hotels shoudl really […] offer shuttles and stop charging so much for that service and the internet. The only real thing this hotel has going for it is the closeness to Fiumacino airport. It was quite mediorcre over all. The breakfast was the best part.

It was ok for a last night in Rome. Nice because it was close to the airport. The bathroom smelled kind of moldy, but otherwise it was decent.

In the past I have used both Cancelli Rossi and Mach 2 (both are basically the same complex) as I readied for a flight from Fiumicino. The hotel is welcoming, clean and the rooms are comfortable. The location is ideal for a one-night stay and there are even convenient locations nearby for a quick bite like pizza al taglio and a bar for a coffee. WiFi is not free, but available and the airport shuttle must be reserved and are frequent (I believe very half hour). The staff was friendly and helpful and I really could not find a key improvement. We stayed at this hotel the night before an early flight from Rome. It is close to the airport, has an adequate restaurant nearby, and is clean and comfortable.

I stayed in this hotel on 11/05/2011. the hotel does not have shuttle bus from FCO airport to hotel before 4 PM (so I took taxi), and it will cost you $6 person if you want to take the hotel shuttle bus. The breakfast area, fitness center and office are not located in the same hotel, they are in other hotel that next to it, very inconvenience. hotel […] breakfast won't start until 7 AM, if you are in early flight, you can forget it (I had early flight, so I did not have a chance for the free breakfast). the Elevator is not clean. Defenately not a 4 star hotel but it's OK to cutch morning flight

The hotel was OK, had some problems trying to find out where to catch the hotel van, and it was not free as was told when first booked. The fees are 6 euros for each person, each way for the airport trip and the fre breakfast is at the hotel next door and it is also a better hotel

Close to airport (about a mile), but prepare to pay E$20 pp (fixed price) for taxi as shuttle was only operating at limited times. From the airport until 2115 and back from hotel until 1030 (E$6 pp). This hotel is an excellent choice if you need to stay near the Rome airport. The rooms are excellent, wi-fi is inexpensive, staff friendly and helpful. They have airport shuttle service available every 20 minutes from 7am for less than $10. I will stay here whenever I need to overnight before or after a Rome flight.

We only needed a room for one night convenient to the airport and I was pleased to find this hotel. It was clean and the hotel staff was nice.There was a good Italian restaurant around the corner, and the hotel's complimentary breakfast had great options. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Efficient, newer business hotel very near FCO. Excellent alternative to expensive hotel at the terminal.

I booked the hotel overnight to catch an early morning flight. On the day of arrival I waited a long time (maybe more than an hour?) at the bus station with no bus in sight. I then called the hotel front desk and was told that the bus would be at the airport in 45 min. When the bus arrived, the driver blamed the hotel for not sending the bus earlier... […] who know what happened between them. The hotel does not seem to care about the long delay. We booked this room for its convenient location to the airport and the fact that Hotel.com gave it a "4" rating. We found that the only thing correct was that it was close to the airport. The hotel was out of date, the lobby furniture was soiled and dirty, not to mention the rude staff. They did not have a business center for customer to check their […] flights times or complete early check-in on their flight. We asked for a bottle opener and were told that we had to return it right away, because they only had one opener. They recommended that we eat at their great restaurant. The meal my husband got was disgusting. Veal with some type of really lumpy gravy--was terrible. The waiter kept steering us away from certain dishes, saying that it would take a really long time. He was not kidding--my husband ordered potatoes--which came about 45 minutes after the veal was served--they were equally terrible. One good thing I found was the bathroom--it was clean and had a great shower, although after it was turned off, the water started running again--and I was in the other room and could not turn it off, because it was already off. We ordered a cab at the front desk and the cab was late. This was our last night in Italy. We were so hoping to have a really good experience to end our Italy vacation. Continua a leggere

This was the perfect hotel for a morning flight out of FCO. Close to the airport and at a great price. We took the shuttle at 6 euro and it was on time, comfortable and plenty of room for all our luggage. Breakfast was included and ample. We found a chinese restaurant right outside the hotels (there is a sister hotel next door) which was a very welcome […] change after 3 weeks of italian food. Room was small as we had a triple and the third bed was not so comfy. Great staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to those flying out of FCO. Very nice modern bathroom. Quiet peaceful rest in comfortable bad. Staff was helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. Just what we needed.

pointless to stay there for the flight...

Conveniently located near the airport and close to a an excellent family owned restaurant a block away and down a side street. Only downside is WiFi charges far too high

I booked this hotel due to the location, price and shuttle service. The location is close to the Airport, but the neighborhood is not very nice. The shuttle is also 6 Euro per person each way and is more expensive then a cab. The staff is rude! We could not find the shuttle so we called and when we were told were to find it we were also told that it […] would be leaving the airport in five minutes so we better run if we want to catch it. The driver was extremely rude as was the front desk clerk. When we asked about restaurants she told us the closest was theirs in the hotel across the parking lot (the gym is also next door) I asked if there were any others and she said in town a kilometer away. We then walked around and found several others in the next block. The room was very warm and the air did not work well. The ice machine was broken and after a rude comment from the staff we were told to go to the restaurant next door if we wanted ice. We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport for our flight out the next morning and this hotel has been recently remodeled and was outstanding!! The rooms are a little small, as are all hotel rooms abroad but otherwise the room was nicely furnished and the bathrooms were spotless. Far from the airport, the hotel emailed me and said that I could call when I arrive at the airport for the shuttle service however when I did call the said the shuttle didn't run at that time and only ran in the morning and after 4 pm! So I had to pay 15 euro for another shuttle. Taxi was charging 25! The hotel is not close to the airport or any transportation […] services to go anywhere. We loved the location because of the proximity to the airport! As far as "italian standards" it lacked a bit. Some staff was very helpful but others were not. However, we enjoyed the fact that Fumicino is a working class city of fisherman! I stayed in Hotel Cancelli Rossi the night before my flight back to Atlanta in July. It was neat and clean with flat screen TV, internet and movies. i was able to leave my luggage then go to airport and return my rental car. Took the shuttle back to the hotel (NOTE shuttle is in the basement of Terminal C with the buses to Rome - leaves every 45 minutes […] starting at 4 PM). I had a delightful seafood dinner in the restaurant of Hotel Mach 2 next door. I had an awfull night sleep since at some time of the night the air conditioning stoped cooling. I lowered the thermostat to the coldest setting but it just kept blowing hot air. As for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel if you are more than one person is cheaper to take a cab. And if you need a cab early in the morning the hotel staff call it […] form the airport, so you have to pay the airport fare from the airport to the hotel and back, about twenty Euros! I read the reviews before booking. I disagree that the desk help didn't smile. They did their job efficiently, even helping us translate some banking documents. The cleaning service was very satisfactory and I'm impressed by the cleanliness and neatness of the bed linens. I definitely recommend this hotel. Choices of different coffees from their machine and if one couldn't work the machine the staff was right there to help. Staff members not very helpful... lobby dingy... no ice machine or vending... only a mini bar in room. Carpets needed cleaning. Overpriced for the location and services.

Room was clean and spacious and breakfast was good by comparison to other hotels in Italy. However, it is not that convenient to airport, hotel shuttle has limited hours and taxis want to charge from 20-30 Euros.

Convenient to FCO airport, clean comfortable rooms, and good value. Staff are friendly and all speak English. Shuttle costs $6 per person, but worked well. Area is somewhat suburban, but there is a pizzeria next door and other restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk if you don't want to eat at the hotel restaurant.

Less than 5 minutes from fumicno airport. Great for dropping off rented car at airport before flying out. Small, by US standards, but modern and clean rooms. Choices of reasonably priced eating within a block's walk. Not a holiday location, but a reasonable place for transit into and out of italy. This is a modern hotel where the air conditioning works. They provided a full breakfast and a convenient shuttle (6 Euro) back to the airport. It is difficult to find someone to direct you to the Fumicello taxi stand; you cannot use the Rome taxi stand closest to the airport terminal.
