"Wonderful getaway"
We only stayed here one night but wish it could have been more. Beautiful hotel, very nice comfortable room. The staff was great. Because we booked with Hotels.com we got a $20 slot with the booking. Had alot of fun playing but walked away even. Planning to go back again later this year.

Hotel is well appointed and nicely maintained. The room was very, very quiet despite overlooking the front entrance. Despite being 'in the middle of no where' in some respects, it is easy to find yet wonderfully quiet while there. The casino is an additional plus if one is into that - but hotel can be enjoyed without enjoying that facility. The only […] issue with that is all restaurants are off the casino so if one is totally against stepping into one - it is relatively difficult to do. There is a strict non-smoking policy in over all the casino and all the eating establishments which was a nice plus. Bottom line - convenient and great place to get away for a night - or many nights. Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, pleasant stay. Food in Betty's diner (breakfast and dinner) was awful. I would never eat there again. Overall service was okay. I felt as though that many of the employees seemed unhappy. They were not rude, necessarily, but just unhappy. I have a feeling that the management style is very top-down. "Should Have Stayed Somewhere Else Close"
For what I paid for one night to be in an incredibly average room in this hotel for my wife and I, I now know I should have booked at another nearby location. The one and only benefit to paying extra to be at Mt. Airy was to not have to drive to the casino. Although I would recommend this hotel to other guests, if you are going for the convenience of the casino, just be aware that smoking is allowed in the casino. I had to leave the casino early because the smoke was overwhelming and later I was living on my asthma inhalers. Other than that, the room was fabulous

This was a very nice vacation for my friends and I. The only bad part of this was we upgraded out room to the Suite (VERY NICE!!) but there was only 1 bed and 1 pullout bed. The bed was the best sleep I have had in a long time. The pullout bed - just a regular pullout that you would find at any little Motel 6 with the bars in your back and the springs. we stayed for 2 nights and overall everything was wonderful. the only thing i found just a tad odd was the amount of times we were id'd going to the casino. maybe its just because know other place does it like that. but otherwise everything was great.

We were there for valentine day and we had a great time The resort was beautiful and the room was very clean. The resort does not have enough things to do but gambling. One would have to go out of the resort to find entertainment.

Hotel rooms are above average. Ours was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were some stains on the carpet but nothing too horrible. Did not eat at the restaurants so I can not comment on the food. As to the smoke you will smell it. I was not there on the weekend so I can't say how bad it really gets. They have a smoke free slot and poker room on the 3rd floor but it comes off as an afterthought and you don't feel like you're getting the casino experience up there. Here's an idea: Why not put the smokers in the tiny third floor room instead of the non-smoking public? All in all it was not a bad overnight stay but I am not hurrying back anytime soon. I could not believe how nice my room was at the Mount Airy Casino and Resort, especially considering the low price I paid. It was incredibly cheap and I got a free buffet dinner with my room! My room was clean and spacious. The staff was mostly very friendly and helpful, although the front desk staff seemed a little grumpy at times. The buffet dinner […] was just OK, but the buffet breakfast was fantastic. I wasn't crazy about the smoking in the casino, as it did drift a little into the restaurant. "Mt Airy Casino is close to Tannersville Outlets"
Mt. Airy casino and resort is equal to a Las Vegas resort. It's is smaller but the service and the gaming are wonderful. Rooms are luxious and well taken care of. This is a wonderful place to spend the evening after hitting the Tannersville shopping outlets. This is what I did after a two day black friday weekend shopping trip to the outlets. "Mt. Airy Casino and Resort in Pa."
My wife and I have heard about Mt. Airy for years but decided to check it out after gambling was brought there. We were impressed. The facility is beautifull inside and out. The people were very pleasant and accomadating. We played on the slots for hours and came home with a few extra dollars. We plan to visit again this winter.

Since this is a smoking-allowed casino, i was concerned about staying in the hotel, as i am a non smoker, and very sensitive to smoke. I had read previous reviews that stated the hotel did not do a good job of ventilating the rooms, and almost did not book, but i can say i had absolutely no problem. We didn't even spend any time in the casino during our stay (My husband and I had a kid-free weekend escape). Most of the hotels in the area that I researched seemed very old, out of date, in desperate need of repair, and had less than desirable beds (comfort is very important, it's what I pay for). I have nothing but positive reviews of this place. For families, i HIGHLY recommend the Great Wolf Lodge, which is right down the road. The casino is close enough that Mom & Dad (or just Dad, in our case) can escape for a night. We took our 4yr old there, and she us still talking about it. "Honeymooning at Mt. Airy"
We really enjoyed our honeymoon at the Mt. Airy Casino and resort. The spa was amazing--I would highly recommend it for any kind of relaxation treatment you need. "Mount Airy Resort - home away from home"
To celebrate our 20th anniversary my husband and I decided to go hiking in Bushkill Falls just like we did on our honeymoon. We did some research and found Mount Airy Resort. We actually honeymooned at the hotel that was on the same property back then. We loved our honeymoon, but the new resort is 1000x better. The first staff member we met was Brad, […] the valet. He was so upbeat and happy that we were grinning ear to ear by the time we walked into the resort. We then met Ana and Ivy at check in. They were both very professional but also very friendly and upbeat. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a suite when my husband asked about a view of the lake; and they didn’t even know we were there celebrating our anniversary. The suite was gorgeous. I was impressed by the details, for instance the doors both into the suite and between rooms were heavy wooden doors, not the cheap metal fire doors you find in most hotels. The trim was the same heavy wood and the décor included vases, plates and decorative bowls as well as plush throw rugs and beautifully designed lamps. My only complaint is that the bed was a bit too firm, but on the other hand my back didn’t hurt the whole time we were there. Our reservation included the buffet for one night, so we went the first night where we met Jessica, Allison and Ricardo. Jessica was the cashier; she was friendly and had an infectious smile. We got there a bit early so she was not busy and chatted with us about the area while we waited for the hostess to seat us. My husband makes silly jokes, and when Allison, the hostess, came to seat us and asked “How many?” he responded “40”. She didn’t miss a beat, just told him we’d have to wait while she pushed a few tables together. He asked her for a seat with a view of the fountain and she managed to find us a seat right next to the fountain where our server, Ricardo was just finishing clearing the table from his previous guests.
